Every week there will be a featured market from South Korea and within it, there are 3 types of food selected as its representatives. The cast and guest(s), as contestants, have to play games and win to be able to enjoy the food. There will be a dressing theme concept for the cast and guest(s) to follow for the filming of each episode. For episodes, 1–4, the program format is only 3 rounds of song dictation. From episode 5, the program format changed to 2 rounds of song dictation, with a Snack Time in between the dictation segments.

The cast members take various trips throughout South Korea, including many offshore islands, recommending various places that viewers can visit. While doing so, members also perform missions at a certain mealtime or point of the day to earn rewards (eg. foods that are famous in the region they visit) and to avoid punishments

“19/20” captures the growth and freedom of young 19-year-olds as they turn 20.

The show will follow various Gen Z’s as they enjoy their final week being 19 and their first week being 20 after ringing in 2023. The unique participants will close out the year by spending time with their friends and slowly but surely preparing for adulthood. They will begin attending “19 School”, where they will take lessons about useful things to know as an adult. On New Year’s Day, all the cast members will part ways with their parents and teachers to move into the “20 House,” a place of independence and the start of their new adult journey where they can showcase their colorful charms, create unexpected bonds and make meaningful memories.

The show is the first ever global K-pop idols' news & talk show. The "TMI" in the show's name stands for Thursday Mnet Idol. The show is currently retrieving any possible TMI (Too Much Information) information from the public about the idol groups or their individual members through their online form, and the information that will be used for the show is "news reported" on the show.
