After suffering from serial paranormal events, a wealthy family living in LA summons a young rising shaman duo Hwa Rim and Bong Gil to save the newborn of the family. Once they arrive, Hwa Rim senses a dark shadow of their ancestor has latched on the family in a so-called 'Grave Calling'.

In order to exhume the grave and relieve the ancestor, Hwa Rim seeks help from top-notch geomancer Sang Deok and mortician Yeong Geun. To their dismay, the four find the grave at a shady location in a remote village in Korea. Unaware of the consequences, the exhumation is carried out, unleashing a malevolent force buried underneath.

'I want to eat your pancreas' Yamauchi Sakura told Shiga Haruki while shelving books at the library. 12 years have passed Haruki, now a homeroom teacher at their old school, was asked to be in charge of the organization of the library collection. Set in the year 2092 and follows the crew of a space junk collector ship called The Victory. When they discover a humanoid robot named Dorothy that’s known to be a weapon of mass destruction, they get involved in a risky business deal.

In the year 2092, space is full of dangerous floating garbage like discarded satellites and deserted spaceships. The crew of The Victory travels through space looking for the garbage they can make money off, while also competing with junk collector ships from other countries and using the speediness of their craft to defeat their rivals.

The true incidents that led to the vendetta of the 47 masterless samurai are briefly given here. A provincial lord (daimyô) named Asano Naganori was entrusted with the reception of an imperial envoy. He sought guidance in this matter from a more senior lord named Kira Yoshinaka, but he failed to provide the 'gifts' that were expected in such a situation. Kira was therefore displeased with Asano and taunted him, making him draw his sword inside the shogun's palace. The shogun was so outeaged by this act that he ordered Asano to commit seppuku and confiscated all his lands. His household was disbanded and his retainers were made rônin (masterless samurai). 47 of these men, however, includin their former chief Ôishi Kuranosuke, plotted to avenge their lord's death by killing Kira. In the twelfth month of 1703 the 47 retainers successfully attacked Kira's mansion in Edo and took his head. Taking it to Sengaku-ji, the Buddhist temple where lord Asano was buried, they presented it before their lord's grave and then took their own lives by seppuku.

Ppong-Ddol dreams of forming a band. One day, he picks up an old orange cart and this inspires him to name the band "Golden Chariot." Ppong-Ddol invites his neighborhood friends to join the band which they willingly accept. Problem is, they are not that good and they also need money. Ppong-Ddol offers to Chul-Wook the job of becoming the band's manager if he can provide funding for the band. Chul-Wook goes asks his mom for money. Ppong-Ddol’s older brother Dong-Ho visits him for the first time in a lengthy while. They recall the past, including getting kicked out of their family. They blame each other. Both of them are also in need of money. They decide to go see their oldest brother and ask for forgiveness and some money, but their afraid of his fist.
