After suffering from serial paranormal events, a wealthy family living in LA summons a young rising shaman duo Hwa Rim and Bong Gil to save the newborn of the family. Once they arrive, Hwa Rim senses a dark shadow of their ancestor has latched on the family in a so-called 'Grave Calling'.

In order to exhume the grave and relieve the ancestor, Hwa Rim seeks help from top-notch geomancer Sang Deok and mortician Yeong Geun. To their dismay, the four find the grave at a shady location in a remote village in Korea. Unaware of the consequences, the exhumation is carried out, unleashing a malevolent force buried underneath.

Rai keeps failing to find a regular job. He works on setting up an exhibition for classic novel "The Tale of Genji" as a part-time laborer. At the exhibition, he listens to the narration about younger brother Ninomiya and older brother Ichinomiya from "The Tale of Genji." Rai can relate to the story. Thanks to a headache pill he has on him, he is hired as an onmyoji by the emperor’s wife Nyogo Kokiden. She is a fearless woman and coldly analytical in her actions. She desires to have her son take the emperor's position.

Unfortunately, this reveals her whereabouts to the White Sharks, who have been eagerly waiting for their chance for revenge. They team up with some loan sharks who have been looking to develop the marketplace area to back Eun-jin into a corner. She has no alternative but to risk her life once again in a bloody war with her sworn enemies.

The story of a family that moves into a home situated next to a graveyard. The film starts innocently with a playful exchange between a parent and child about lizards' tails growing back. However, the child's curiosity leads him to chant a strange spell in the yard, which sets off a dangerous chain of events.

Hiroko Kurasawa, a video director and former colleague of the family's father, Naoto Ihara, visits their home and witnesses the strange occurrences. As Hiroko tries to uncover the mystery behind the family's troubles, she too becomes a victim of the malevolent forces at play.
