“Undercover” depicts the story of Han Jung Hyun, who has been hiding his identity for a long time, and Choi Yeon Soo, a human rights lawyer who becomes the first head of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit to fight for justice.

First off, Ji Jin Hee’s character Han Jung Hyun is an agent at the Agency for National Security Planning who has been hiding his identity for a long time. In recognition of her lifelong beliefs and abilities, she becomes nominated as the first head of the Senior Civil Servant Corruption Investigations Unit. Little does she know that her new position will force her to face a shocking truth.

Deok Gu, a 7-year-old boy, lives with his little sister, Deok Hee, and his grandfather in a country village. A few years ago, Deok Gu’s father had passed away in a traffic accident, and soon his mother ran away with father’s death benefit. Doing a part-time job only for the living, grandfather struggles to raise kids, and it’s not easy to buy even a small toy for Deok Gu. However, at the same time, gruesome killings started happening that targeted little girls. Detective Kim begins to suspect Jung Ho is involved in the events.

Jung-Ho (Kim Sang-Kyung), a famous photographer who has a special ability to read people’s minds, has just returned to Korea from abroad. Jung-Ho still can’t get rid of traumatic memories of his late girlfriend who ended her life in front of him.
