The third film from the Village of Terror series, following on from "Inonaru Village" (2020) set in Kyushu and "Jukai Village" in Fuji (2021). The case involves a large publishing company as they are sued by a former contract worker. The former contract worker insists her idea for a novel was stolen by the publishing company.

The story is based on the life of a japanese composer named Yuji Koseki from Fukushima in the Showa Era.

In 1909, a long-awaited baby boy was born to a family which has run a dry goods store for generations in Fukushima Prefecture. He would later become the talented composer Koyama Yuichi who wrote many famous songs. Although Yuichi was brought up as the heir of the business, he was rather dreamy and considered a child with no redeeming traits by the people around him. However, when he encountered music, it sparked joy and unleashed his gift in composing music through self-study. As a youth, Yuichi secretly put his name down for an overseas songwriting competition. This would change his destiny. He won runner-up for the song he entered for the competition. As a result, he got to know a female student who wanted to be a singer. Despite the long distance between them – Fukushima and Toyohashi – the two of them tied the knot. When they came to Tokyo, they met all sorts of people and weathered a dark period to produce a number of hit songs. However, war broke out and Yuichi had to compose wartime songs at the army’s request. It pained him that young men died in battle after singing the songs he had written. After the war, the country began to recover amid the chaos. The couple made a new era of music in an attempt to encourage the wounded through the power of music.

Architect Ayukawa Itsuki is paralyzed from waist down. Although he was the ace of the basketball team back in high school, he injured his spinal cord in an accident while in the third year in university. After that, he decided that he would not play basketball or fall in love ever again because he is wheelchair-bound. Itsuki was Kawana Tsugumi’s classmate and her first love. Tsugumi liked drawing and her ambition was to get into art college. But she lacked confidence and gave up on the exam. Even though she got into an interior design firm, it is a clerical position. Itsuki and Tsugumi happen to meet again at a work-related drinking session. The two of them are attracted to each other. However, they face problems including disapproving parents, the appearance of a love rival and illness as they search for the meaning of happiness

One night, Amemura Shinsuke, a bartender at a Nishi Azabu bar in Tokyo, is attacked by a male stranger and loses a part of his memories. One day, Tetsuro finds a young man. The young man, who was taken care of at Tetsuro's home, called himself Shinichi. However, Shinichi had a secret that he could not reveal his real name, and Tetsuro also had a past that he could never forget.

Eventually, Minato Shindo graduated from medical school and passed the national exam for medical practitioners.

Now, Akira Shiga works as a director at a large hospital. He suggests to Minato Shindo to work in the pediatric surgery department at the hospital where he works.

When high school student Tomura Naoki met piano tuner Itadori Soichiro at his school in Hokkaido, he could smell the forest from the piano tuned by Soichiro. Touched, the boy decides to work together with Soichiro at his musical instruments store. Naoki develops relationships with many people related to the piano and he meets sister pianists and high school students Kazune and Yuni.

But this weighs on Chinami’s mind. Before long, she finds out the source of the gun that was used to shoot Sugimoto. This brings her to Kanto Natsume-kai. For some reason, Yuta’s mother is there. She learns that Yuta’s father, Akiba (Hakamada Yoshihiko), a skilled workman, was abducted by Kanto Natsume-kai and made to be a dealer at an illegal casino. Sugimoto had run up debt of 20 million yen at this casino. They finally establish a link to the case and think that the case can be solved. But it is not that simple. The illegal casino has been taking place at the embassy which Japanese police cannot enter because of diplomatic immunity. Chinami has until April to solve the case. The members of the Eighteenth Section, who have quickly learnt about Chinami’s transfer, work hard in an attempt to send her off without bringing dishonour to her name, but they have just one month … …

Trying to escape her critical situation, Kamo is greeted by a shrewd consultant in finance. The crafty man’s name is Kinugawa Shuhei and as they quarrel and try to deceive each other, they find themselves becoming partners. The two set their mission to rebuild the ryokan back to its normal state.
