Zhang Chu Lan, an ordinary young man, gets entangled in an unprecedented world of "Outsiders" when his grandfather's body mysteriously disappears. He then met Wang Ye in the Martial Arts Tournament, an outsider who mastered one of the Eight Supreme Skills: Gate of Gale. Wang Ye's motives were to explain to him how heavy his fate is and also to follow the advice of his grandmaster. Behind it all lies a shocking secret, and Feng's mysterious origins seem to hold the key to the truth.

The young outsiders fight shoulder to shoulder to overcome the challenges and become friends who have each other's backs. On their journey of growth, each one searches for their sense of righteousness, while a battle between good and evil looms on the horizon...

The ancient dragon Tian Yao was riddled with gaping wounds due to a lover's betrayal, and his heart was emptied. When the dragon is reborn, he meets Yan Hui. She will protect him with all her strength in their fight to retrieve his remaining bones.

Twenty years ago, Tian Yao was betrayed by the woman he loved, stripped of his dragon bones that are sealed in four directions. By chance, Tian Yao's soul escapes from the seal. He senses a seal within a lake and waits for his opportunity.

Tian Yao sees a glimmer of hope upon encountering Yan Hui. She has the dragon within her that can help Tian Yao break the seal. Tian Yao uses Yan Hui for the purpose of retrieving his body parts. She tries to escape but fails, yet their relationship only grows closer. Over time, Tian Yao is moved by Yan Hui's repeated efforts to save him. She also realizes that her connection to Tian Yao can never be severed. One mystery comes after the other as she learns about her true origin.

Tian Zao has been engaged in grassroots work since the early days of liberation. She eventually becomes a leader of the resident's committee and serves the people for 70 years. She participated in catching spies, curbing illiteracy and led the masses to donate handicrafts to the volunteer army.

During the era of reform, she encouraged her daughter (Elvira Cai) to succeed her line of work. Tian Zao did not leave her post even after she retired. When she reached the age of 90, her granddaughter has become the new leader of the resident's committee.

It depicts the transformation of state-owned enterprises after China's economic reform. A Huafu subsidiary in Jingzhou faces a crisis due to changes in the market environment and problems within the enterprise.

Founded in the 1930s, Huafu Company was the among the first batch of state-owned enterprises in China. As the company is about to usher in its 80th anniversary, its subsidiary, Jingzhou Huafu, falls into a huge predicament. Huafu Chairman Lin Manjiang sends Qi Ben'an to Jingzhou to resolve the issue. After Qi Ben'an assumes his new role, he realizes that he has many hurdles to overcome.

On one hand, he has to unite the cadres and the masses that include individuals like Shi Hongxing to resolve the long-drawn conflicts between them. On the other hand, he must also win the support of the municipal party committee secretary and carefully maneuver the company's relationship with the local government. Throughout the process, Qi Ben’an never strays from his original intentions as he treads the proper path towards production and development and also accumulates a wealth of experience for the reform of state-owned enterprises.

In the early 1990s, with the deepening of reform and opening up, the development of the information industry opened a new page. Xiao Chuang and Pei Qing Hua, two stunned young people from the Institute of Computer Science and Technology of Yenching University, entered the business by stealing a Han card and were selected by the director Tan Qi Zhang to join the trend of computer sales. The researchers, headed by the two, looked at the right time, caught the policy breeze, started from acting as a foreign computer agent, and transitioned to independent research and development, from grassroots to a generation of business wizards. At the same time, it records the history of China's rapid development at the end of the 20th century.

In a prologue, the cast is introduced to the settings and suspects of a murder case for the new episode. The cast then chooses their role in the episode, as a particular suspect or the detective. Other than the detective, each person is given detailed information about the suspect they are portraying including their personalities, alibi, relationship to the victim and other suspects, history, criminal motive, etc. Every suspect can conceal information until explicitly questioned by other suspects or the detective, but only the criminal can lie.

A nostalgic story that revolves around high school students during the year 1996.

There are many streets like this and each street has a guardian general, guarding the place. At Rakshasa Street, it’s the turf of two brothers – Cao Yan Bing (older) and Cao Xuan Liang, presumably are descendants of Cao Cao. In this world full of evil spirits, can you cooperate with your guardian spirit in order to survive?

Shi Hong is a brilliant mathematics teacher who is a recluse but likes the active company of his neighbor, divorcee Chen Jing and her young daughter through the thin walls. When Fu Jian, Chen Jing's abusive ex-husband, suddenly shows up trying to extort money from Chen Jing, threatening both her and her daughter, the situation spirals out of control and Fu Jian is killed. Shi Hong offers to help Chen Jing and her daughter cover up the crime, but when his former classmate and police consultant, Tang Chuan, becomes involved in investigating the murder, Shi Hong must betray his friend's trust and involve himself in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game that reveals the depths of his feelings for Chen Jing and her daughter.
