Kim Ho Jin will play Heo Myung Pil, an elite newspaper reporter but an immature and irresponsible husband. Kang Sung Yun will play Gyung Gook Hee, a bright and valiant wife. Along with the two, Kim Tae Yeon will play Lim Tae Ran who is a successful scenario writer who possesses both fortune and fame, she is considered an ideal female figure in today's society, and Kim Nam Jin will play the college student, Seok Doo, who receives the love of many wives.

PD Baek Seung Chan decided to work at the entertainment division of KBS television network because of his secret crush on a KBS employee. On his his first day on the job, PD Baek Seung Chan goes through training, but has a difficult time with PD Tak Ye Jin. PD Tak Ye Jin is the producer of music program "Music Bank."

PD Baek Seung Chan is then devastated when he sees his secret crush and PD Ra Joon Mo being affectionate towards each other. Joon-Mo is the producer of variety show "2 Days & 1 Night” and he is a long time friend of PD PD Tak Ye Jin.

PD Tak Ye Jin has been feeling sick since the morning, because of an incident with an expensive parked car. She tries to contact the owner of the parked car, but fails. PD Tak Ye Jin then argues with popular singer Cindy (IU) over her stage outfit.

PD Ra Joon Mo is also going through a hard time. He hears rumors that his show is going to be cancelled because of low ratings. After a long and hard day, PD Tak Ye Jin is finally able to track down the owner of the expensive car. Surprisingly, the owner of the expensive car is PD Baek Seung Chan.

Celebrity dads are left to care for their kids alone for 48 hours without the help of anyone, while their wives leave the home to enjoy some relaxing time off. The wives are shown leaving the home before the 48 hours begins and coming back to greet their family once the 48 hours have ended. During the 48 hours, the dads and children are either doing a task the wives have written out for the dads to complete or the dads exploring new activities with their kids. Occasionally celebrity friends of the dads will stop by to interact with the kids.

Following clues from his memories, he finds Salamander Guru’s fortune telling house and meets Sun Dal and Won Sam. To find Salamander Guru who knows the secrets of X, Min Hyuk has no choice but to help the fake gurus. With his brain and excellent hacking skills, Min Hyuk controls Sun Dal behind a mirror and finds codes his dad left by recalling his childhood memories one by one. Min Hyuk, who has been secretive with social phobia, gradually becomes more open while living with Sun Dal and Won Sam.

The second season follows the same format of the first season, with different girl group members and took place in a fishing village in Daebu Island, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province.

Girls' Generation Goes to School is a South Korean reality show starring the popular South Korean girl group Girls' Generation.
