But the couple have difficulty breaking the news of their decision to their families, colleagues and friends who celebrated their marriage and looked forward to the future. They thus start activities behind the scenes to prepare for their divorce.

A university student has the usual dreams and aspirations. It turns out to be a pipe dream and so she murders her own flesh and blood. The usual media heads seek an answer in order to sell copy. A psychologist is writing a book about the character and incident. Her research for the subject matter turn the psychologist inward and things come out of the shadows that perhaps are better left buried deep in the shadows of the psyche.

Hibiki Akui is a sensitive 15-year-old girl from an ordinary family with a penchant for writing. She has grown up in an ordinary family. Her father works as a public officer, her mother a housewife and her older brothers studies at a university.

One day, the literary magazine “Mokuren” receives a manuscript script for Akui's novel “Otogi no Niwa.” The novel is an entry for the magazine's 'Rookie of the Year' Award. However, it does not satisfy the conditions of the award and so is tossed into the office trash bin. Editor Fumi Hanai happens to see the novel in the trash can and takes an interest in it...

Samaru Ayuha is a high school student. She is honest and works hard at everything, no matter what. One day, she has trouble at a gyudon restaurant due to money. A man at the restaurant, Hiromitsu Yoshitaka, helps her out. The next day, she finds that Yoshitaka has come to her school as a substitute teacher for her ill homeroom teacher. Saigo Takamori, the hero of the Meiji Restoration, was born to a poor, low-ranking samurai family in the Satsuma domain (present day Kagoshima Prefecture). His simple honesty caught the attention of its charismatic feudal lord of Satsuma, Shimazu Nariakira. Nariakira’s assertion that the love of people is what will enrich and strengthen the nation captivated Saigo who took on Nariakira’s secret mission and eventually became a key person for Satsuma. Not a portrait of him survives today and much of his life is a mystery. He is a man who was twice exiled and thrice married. He overthrew the Tokugawa Shogunate with exceptional bravery and action. 'I want to eat your pancreas' Yamauchi Sakura told Shiga Haruki while shelving books at the library. 12 years have passed Haruki, now a homeroom teacher at their old school, was asked to be in charge of the organization of the library collection. As he talks to his student, it made him look back on the days he spent with Sakura. Narrating the moment he picks up a diary, and discovers that his popular classmate is suffering from a pancreatic disease. Sakura decides to spend her remaining days with Haruki. Shiga being a loner initially refuses but slowly accepts Sakura into his life.

Set 2 years after Sangenya Machi and Yashiro Dai left Teiko Real Estate's Shinjuku office.

Set in Abashiri, Hokkaido. Tsukasa (Keiko Kitagawa) got into a severe car accident when she was a high school student. She still suffers from the aftereffects of that accident, with memory impairment and needing to use a wheelchair. Nevertheless, she tries to live life to the fullest. Tsukasa then falls in love with taxi driver Masaki (Ryo Nishikido), who likes playing basketball. Even though they have various difficulties, they try to make a happy family together, but they encounter another serious situation.

Kiichiro Ota has recently begun work at an advertising agency. He is then forced to participate in the world's biggest TV Advertising Festival as a judge. There's parties held there every night and Kiichiro is paired with Hikari Ota, who shares the same family name, to act like husband and wife there.

At the festival, Kiichiro learns that if he doesn't allow the CM from his agency to win the grand prize then he will be fired. Directors from all over the world are gathered at the festival and the judges work within a hotel that is completely closed off. The directors scheme and bargain to make their agency win the grand prize.

The woman's name is Meiko (Michiko Kichise) and she is the young wife of Takamitsu Temiyako (Takamitsu Temiyako) - president of a large medical corporation. The man in the parked car is Dr. Tokito Takahiko (Hiroshi Abe) an employee of the large medical corporation.
