The story depicts parasites that fall from space and begin to kill to gain their own power by controlling the human brain and body by living off human hosts. The story revolves around Jung Soo In, who is infected with a parasite on her hand and starts a strange cohabitation as it fails to steal her brain.

Seol Kang Woo chases parasitic water to find his missing sister, and Choi Jun Kyung is the team leader of the parasitic life team ‘The Grey’ and lives only to exterminate the parasitic water after losing her husband to the parasitic water.

Set in the 1990's, Park Ha Kyung teaches Korean literature at a high school. To escape her ordinary days, Park Ha Kyung decides to take one day trips on Saturdays. During her one day trip, she walks around, eats different foods, and meets various people. She realizes she receives comfort and empathy through her travels.

A story about a female killer.

Kill Bok Soon is a single mother. She is also a lethal killer, with a 100% success rate on contract killings. She works for M.K. Ent, which is run by Cha Min Kyu. He trained Kill Bok Soon as a killer and they hold mutual respect for each other. At the same time, Kill Bok Soon is aware that Cha Min Kyu is a dangerous person who can take away everything from her. Cha Min Hee is the younger sister of Cha Min Kyu and she works as an executive at M.K. Ent. She doesn't show her feelings to other people. Han Hee Sung is a killer for M.K Ent. He is highly skilled at his job, but he is not recognized by others for his work.

Right before Kill Bok Soon is set to renew her contract, she gets involved in a kill or be killed confrontation.

Jung Ki Hoon searches for strange supernatural phenomena as an archaeologist, but an unexpected case causes his life to change. He now publishes the occult magazine Monthly Strange Story and runs the YouTube channel Monthly Strange Story. Because of his ex-wife, Lee Soo Jin, he goes to Jinyang County to research "Gwibul" (a Buddhist statue possessed by an evil spirit). There, he faces an incredibly bizarre & fearful phenomenon.

Lee Soo Jin used to decipher letters and symbols as an archaeologist. She was excellent at her work. But, her only child dies, and she then goes to Jinyang County. There, Lee Soo Jin experiences mysterious phenomena, which leads her to search for answers.

Meanwhile, the people of Jinyang County, including police substation chief Han Seok Hee, her son Han Do Kyung, governor Kwon Jong Soo, and trouble maker Kwak Yong Joo face incredibly bizarre phenomena.

An Joon Ho is a soldier. He is quiet and calm, but inflexible. Sergeant Park Beom Goo notices Private An Joon Ho's tenacity and ability to observe. He transfers An Joon Ho to the D.P. (Deserter Pursuit) team. Their mission is to catch deserters. An Joon Ho works with Sergeant Park Beom Goo and Corporal Han Ho Yeol on the team. Sergeant Park Beom Goo looks tired all the time. He curses and nags at An Joon Ho and Han Ho Yeol, but he also takes care of them with his keen insight. Han Ho Yeol sometimes gives An Joon Ho investigative know-how, but he sometimes annoys him.

Meanwhile, First Lieutenant Im Ji Seob only cares about his success in the military. He does not care for the D.P. team.

"Escape from Mogadishu" deals with a real-life defection incident between the two Korean embassies in Somalia back in the nineties that purports to explore the relevant motives behind the event.

"Kingdom: Ashin of the North" is a sidequel from Kingdom season two and a backstory about the mysterious character Lee Chang's group encountered on their journey north to discover the origins of the infected. The surprising appearance of Jun Ji-hyun in the role of Ashin at the end of Kingdom season two intrigued audiences. In this eagerly anticipated bonus story, Jun as Ashin will unveil the mystery behind her identity. Park Byung-eun, who made a lasting impression in Kingdom season two as the head of the Royal Commandery Min Chi-rok, is also confirmed to star. The new story will detail what had happened to Ashin in the past in the northern region and how the two characters' fates intertwined.

Peninsula takes place four years after the zombie outbreak in Train to Busan. The Korean peninsula is devastated and Jung Seok, a former soldier who has managed to escape overseas, is given a mission to go back and unexpectedly meets survivors.

The discovery of X-ray photographs of sexual intercourse causes trouble at a hospital. The hospital administration is more interested in who might be in the x-rays than who took them. A nurse, Yeo Yoon Young, is writing her resignation because she thinks it might be her, but when she arrives at the hospital no one else is there except the deputy. While this hospital commotion is going on, strange sinkholes start to appear in Seoul. Young laborers, including Yoon-young’s boyfriend, are mobilized to fill these sudden sinkholes.

Jungho – a character that the audience does not know anything about – abandons Sohyun. She is now on her own, away from home, somewhere in a motel, trying to kill herself. Out of nowhere comes her saviour: a transgender woman called Jane, who helps Sohyun. It turns out that Jane looks after a group of young runaways; without hesitation, she invites the girl into her little ‘family’ and helps her settle. Everyone seems to be caring and loving; however, it all ends suddenly when Jane passes away; and yet again, Sohyun ends up on the street. While watching this part of the film, everything at first seems to be normal and real, but then the viewers see the girl with another group of people; with another ‘family’ that is run by a strong and brutal man, and where the hierarchy is measured by how much money you can get for the ‘family’ to survive on; Sohyun’s life in the second runaway home doesn’t end well either. Two different families, two different ways of living, which is real and which is the figment of Sohyun’s imagination? She longs for a happy home and imagines one, but which one does she actually end up in?

The film was made with the support of Korean Film Council’s Independent Film Fund and won the CGV Art-house Award at the 2016 BIFF.
