“Single in Seoul” is a melodrama about two drastically different people who meet through an essay about the single life, and in the process, they rediscover their old wounds from past loves.

Lee Dong Wook is in talks to play Park Young Ho who thoroughly enjoys the single life and lives on the borderline of being emotional and being pretentious. He’s also a popular lecturer and an influencer with 300,000 followers. Im Soo Jung is in talks to play Joo Hyun Jin, Park Young Ho’s college junior and editor-in-chief who is in charge of the essay series titled “Single in the City”.

In 1970s Korea, when both art and dreams are censored, a film director dreams of a masterpiece.

After his successful debut, Director Kim endures scathing attacks from critics who call him a specialist in trashy dramas. After finishing his latest feature ‘Cobweb’, he has vivid dreams over several days of an alternative ending to the film. Sensing that if he can just shoot those scenes as he envisioned them, a masterpiece will surely emerge, he tries to arrange just two days of additional shooting. However, the rewritten script fails to pass censorship, and his actors can’t make sense of the new ending. Between the tangled schedule, the opposition of the producer, and the collision between these fantastic scenes dancing before his eyes and the harsh conditions of reality, Director Kim feels he is about to go insane, but he pushes on regardless…

A sexual scandal between a math teacher and a student in a prestigious high school ended in tragedy. 4 years later they meet again, now as adults, to reveal the corruption in school and to regain one's reputation as a teacher.

Ji Yoon Soo is a high school math teacher with a bright smile and a positive impression of others. She is a hard-nosed and stubborn person who has to push ahead with the decisions she has made. She is a math geek who loves solving difficult problems and teaches students to purely love math.

Baek Seung Yoo is emotionless and has no light in his eyes. He used to be a math genius who appeared on a quiz program at the age of five and surprised the world by solving college-level math problems. He was admitted to MIT at the age of 10 but dropped out at the age of 12, and suddenly disappeared.

It's been two years since 32-year-old Hyo Jin lost her husband in an accident. One day she receives a request to take in 16-year-old Jong Wook, the son born to her late husband and his ex-wife after his grandmother develops dementia. She does not feel comfortable with this but ultimately agrees. Hyo Jin tries to get friendly with Jong Wook, but he does not. Later she discovers that Jong Wook is going around looking for his biological mother. She was told that his mother had passed away, but now she begins to question whether she might still be alive.

This drama is about the conflicts, the wins, and losses one experiences when working. It will follow the story of 21st century women, who chose to not be a wife or a mother and successfully work without discrimination or impediments.

Bae Ta Mi works as a director for a big web portal company. She is in her late 30's and is quite competitive. With her competitiveness, Ta Mi enjoys success. The methods she uses to win has her wondering if she is doing the right thing with her life. Has she sacrificed too much of her personal life for success?

Park Mo Gun is a man in his 20's and is a gifted composer. He creates music for video games. Mo Gun meets TaMi at an arcade. He falls in love with her due to her competitive spirit.

A couple faces each other across a cafe table talking; he's apparently returned from Europe and she's not happy about him asking her to meet after such a long time. The conversation seems likely to end any second, but suddenly his true feelings touch her momentarily and a brief smile crosses her face. "The Table" follows a conversation between two people in a cafe.

The first episode shows about a conversation between an actress and her ex-boyfriend, the second is the meeting of a man and woman who go traveling together after a one-night stand, and the third episode is the story of a woman who meets the woman who will play her mother at her sham wedding. The final episode focuses on a woman about to marry, suggesting her ex-boyfriend will be seeing her right up to her wedding day. As all four episodes depend on the two characters' lines and facial expressions, audiences must imagine the situations from the clues available.

This drama follows the lives of two men and a woman through two eras: one during the 1930s Japanese occupation of Korea and the other in the 21st century. The three main characters are:

(1) Han Se Joo who was a writer in his past life and a bestselling author in the present. But Se Joo is depressed with writer’s block so he can't write his next book.

(2) Yu Jin Oh owned a bar in his previous life. In 2017 he is a talented ghostwriter who can bail Se Joo out of his predicament, but the mysterious man has a condition for his services. Se Joo may not be able to meet it.

(3) Jeon Seol was a sniper. Now she has extremely varied expertises. She is a former Olympian hopeful, a veterinarian and a book lover who runs her own delivery service. She oscillates between extreme fandom and an anti-fandom of Se Joo.

The intricately woven story of these three characters unfolds to reveal strange mirroring connections between the time periods as well as possibilities for past lives to be redeemed or improved in the modern world.

1983: Ji Hwan, a high school music teacher, is soon to wed his colleague and girlfriend, Yoon Jeong. Yoon Jeong becomes involved in a case and Ji Hwan attempts to protect her. Moments later, he is fighting for his life after he is stabbed by a mugger.

2015: Police detective Geon Woo is shot by a suspect. The two men who live 30 years apart, fight for their lives on the same day, at the same hospital. As they come back from the brink of death, the two men begin to see through each other’s eyes in their dreams. Gun Woo learns about a case that took place in the past from Ji Hwan. Gun Woo also meets So Eun and, together, they go after the case that took place in the past.

Young Goon believes herself to be a cyborg, and is institutionalized when she stops eating and tries to commit suicide after her grandmother was also taken away to a sanatorium. She meets Il Soon, a thief who specializes in "stealing" others' skills, and he makes it his mission to help her regain the will to live.

While running a travel agency in Macau, Ji Yeon is ripped off by her business partner. One day, the attractive and benevolent Sung Yeol gives her an irresistible offer: $5,000 monthly salary to live on a luxurious yacht and assist the chairman of Cenado, a prominent shipping and casino operator company. Without another option to fall back on, she complies and nurses the ailing chairman, who is impossible to deal with. Ji Yeon slowly gains the attention of both Sung Yeol and the chairman and wavers between an opportunity that will secure her future and love. As tension rises among these figures on the yacht, no one can predict its outcome.

A woman named Seo Ji Woo traveled to India and met her first true love Kim Jong Ok. Since that time Ji Woo can't forget her first love. She then turns to the company, which is called "Finding Your First True Love Company", to help track down Kim Jong Ok.

Han Gi Joon started "Finding Your First True Love Company" and he takes on Seo Ji Woo as the company's first client. The pair travel all over Korea to find Seo Ji Woo's first love and & in the process Han Gi Joon finds himself falling in love with his first client.

Cha Moo Hyuk was adopted by an Australian family but was abused and left homeless at an early age. One day he comes across Song Eun Chae, the coordinator for Choi Yune, a famous singer in Korea, whom she is secretly in love with. Her fateful encounter with Moo Hyuk ends up affecting not only her life but that of her precious Yune as well.

Because of an accident involving his ex-girlfriend, Moo Hyuk is left with 3 months to live. This leads him to head back to Korea in search of his biological mother. The discoveries he makes, changes his heart from longing to revenge. Even with all this darkness surrounding him, he finds an unexpected source of happiness with someone he did not expect to love.

An ordinary high school student, Min Ah lives with her mother who occasionally acts like a child. Min Ah is a shy girl who does not have a lot of friends. That is why she doesn't enjoy school that much. The only thing that is fun for her is to watch Ki Soo, the boy who works in front of her school controlling traffic. He's a little crazy. Min Ah lives with the hope that someday she will also meet the fateful love of her life, just like the love that Ki Soo once had with an older student from her school.

One day, a new family moves into the villa one floor below Min Ah. It's the family of Young Jae, a college student. Young Jae tries to be overly friendly because they are new neighbours. Min Ah's mother prematurely assumes that Min Ah has a new boyfriend, and Young Jae simply goes along with her. One day, Min Ah falls for one of Young Jae's tricks.

A gum-popping student wearing a very short uniform and a weird hair-do is looking for 'zzang', the school boss. She turns out to be the new teacher, Choi Eun-soo, who was trying to get a grasp of situation in the classroom. Eun-soo has been sacked from numerous schools due to her eccentricity and too-strong dedication to teaching. She finally meets her match in Yeong-hee, the troublemaker in her class. Unable to deal with Yeong-hee who lives to rebel, Eun-soo finally decides to call her parents.

"The Blue House, how may I help you?"

What?!? The Blue House?!? Then Young-hee lives in the Blue House? Yes, Young-hee turns out to be a First Daughter, who is being raised by Han Min-wook, the popular president with his good looks and integrity. But Eun-soo is not deterred by the title. She summons the President to school, scolds him, and makes him copy down 'Hwangjoga' 100 times in stead of his daughter.

This is the beginning of the battle between Eun-soo and Min-wook, the president and also a parent.
