Meanwhile, Saki, the daughter of Ujihara Takumi, the president of Hamashio Construction, a major general contractor, is kidnapped. The culprit's request is to cancel the land reclamation project in Tokyo Bay, which is being promoted by Hamashio Construction under the leadership of Suzuki Ichiro, the secretary-general of the Democratic Liberal Party. Kenichi becomes a negotiator with the criminal, in order to make a hostage exchange to save Saki. Who is the culprit of the kidnapping case and what is its purpose?

In 1990, Hagizaki Tatsuo, the accounting department chief of Ukishima Electric Works, was busy negotiating on getting a loan together with Sekino, the company's general manager. However, just as they were about to get the funds, Sekino was involved in a 200 million yen fraud and he later disappeared with the loan. The company decides to cover up the incident to protect its image, but Hagizaki wants to get to the bottom of the matter with the help of his newspaper reporter friend, Muraki. Hagizaki later notices that the case becomes darker and darker as he continues to investigate. He then meets a beautiful woman, Uezaki Etsuko, whom he believes hold the key to the entire incident.

Yutaka is assigned to work in Bangkok before getting married to his fiancee. There he meets the attractive Toko and the two spend an unforgettable four months together. Just when Yutaka realizes that he has true feelings for Toko, she leaves him. 25 years later, however, they still cannot forget the time they spent together.

Set 4 years after movie "Unfair: The Answer."

Natsumi Yukihira (Ryoko Shinohara) receives secret documents of an organization that controls the country from the shadows. Because of this, Natsumi's ex-husband, Kazuo Sato (Teruyuki Kagawa) pays a terrible price. Natsumi goes back to the Investigation #1 of Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department to take on the organization, but Natsumi becomes involved in a new case. She gets closer to the final enemy.

Choi Bae Dal is a young man with ambition, brawn and a quiet, solitary intellect; the story begins with a short glimpse of how Bae Dal started in his endless search to be great, going from a young street boxer to joining the Japanese Air Force in 1938 during the end of WWII. At the aviation base, he and other Korean men refuse to participate in a kamikaze mission and is therefor discharged and shunned - but not before getting beaten down by proud General Kato Harada, himself a seventh-level Black Belt and indignant to Bae Dal's self-proclaimed Chosun Martial Arts. With the end of the war, he muses on a liberated, yet devastated Korea, comparing it now to his shattered spirit. Staying in Japan, he scrounges a living with his wartime friend Chun Bae, selling a gambling Pachinko Machine. Japan is now brimming with American soldiers and Yakuza, and Bae Dal and Chun Bae manage to get on the wrong side of a local Yakuza. Despite his best efforts to fight back, Bae Dal is beaten again and humiliated, and it is at this moment he is reuinted with his family's old friend and his own fighter-idol, Beom Su. As a guard for a circus troupe, Beom Su knows the Yakuza all too well, and fights them off, keeping Bae Dal and Chun Bae under his care. Pleaing for help, Bae Dal begins his karate training once more under the tutledge of Beom Su. He pratices the moves and ideology he learns by seeking to mete out justice to those wrong-doers in the streets. Thus he saves pretty geisha Youko from being raped by Americans, and a romance blossoms. But when his sensei is killed by the Yakuza and Bae Dal takes his revenge upon the criminals, Bae Dal is not only ashamed of his hasty, bloody and vain actions, but tenfold determinded to hone his craft. So he escapes to the solitary mountains for gruesome physical training, in the likeness of legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. Prefecting his martial arts and his body, Bae Dal then returns to civilization and immediately scours the country looking for a fight, trying to find anyone skilled enough to match him. Soon every dojo and Black Belt is defeated by his powerhouse karate, and even The New York Times is quoted as calling him "The Toughest Man Alive". News of this soon reaches Kato, his old advesary who is now the head of the Martial Arts Union and insulted by his popularity. The Japanese are, of course, unwilling to admit defeat to a Korean, and claim his martial arts is just thug-fighting. Bae Dal must prove to the world that he is the greatest fighter, all the while telling his love Youko that he is always afraid...

Tokuzo Akiyama is a young man from a rural area who is married with a child along the way. One day, he eats a delicious breaded cutlet which inspires him to strive to become a chef, specializing in Parisian cuisine. He travels to Tokyo, then Paris, France to learn the culinary arts. Despite facing discrimination and prejudice, he becomes a chef at the Hotel Ritz in Paris. At the age of 26, he becomes the Emperor of Japan’s personal chef.

31-year-old Iwasaki Urara became a lawyer and did a disservice to client because of her own mistake in her first court case. This traumatized her and she gave up being a lawyer. Fretting that she isn't cut out to be a lawyer, Urara ekes out a living by working part time. She is saddled with a debt of 4 million yen in fees to become a lawyer and her days are empty without purpose in life or work. On the other hand, 41-year-old elite lawyer Ebisawa Rinka works for the largest law firm in the industry and is also rumored to be a candidate for a position at the top. She lives in a high-rise apartment, and likes fine wines and branded goods. Her philosophy is “It’s meaningless if I don’t win” and she often wins cases through high-handed methods. However, the methods that Rinka used in a case becomes evident and she is fired from the law firm. In addition, she is ousted from the bar association and no longer able to stand in a courtroom. She has no choice but to build up confidence in the many court cases she won so that she can win back credibility as a lawyer. Making Urara’s acquaintance by chance, Rinka sets eyes on Urara’s legal qualifications. She makes Urara do her bidding in an attempt to somehow regain her own qualifications. Will the two women be able to grasp happiness both as a lawyer and a female?

With her husband rarely home because of work, Saitou Masako raises her kindergarten son by herself. With a strong sense of what's right, she is never afraid to confront people who violate the rules of society. While her righteousness makes her a heroine among the kindergarteners, their mothers have learned to keep their distance from all the trouble Saitou brings with her. Mano Wakaba, a soft-spoken mother who had problems with her son turning violent at his previous school, soon moves into the neighborhood. Eager to get along with the other mothers at the kindergarten, Mano does her best to please, and pushes her son Takeru to do the same, even if it puts her at odds with Saitou. When Takeru gets burned by a smoker whose cigarette brushes his face, Mano is content to let it go, but Saitou steps in to confront the man, asking for an apology. When the man stubbornly refuses, a scuffle ensues and the man runs away. When the bystanders watching begin clapping their hands, Mano is left in awe. As circumstances push her and Saitou together, Mano must choose between bending over to please the other mothers or joining Saitou and facing alienation.

Naoko Noda, who works in a trading company, is called "anego" by her younger co-workers. What is "anego"? It means "older sister," but in this case it is given as a nickname to Naoko because she is like a big sister to her coworkers, who depend on her to give them advice about everything. This drama, depicts realistically how Naoko lives her everyday life, including her love life, the problems she faces, and her uneasiness about the future.

Wataru Honjo is a veteran suit actor who resents popular young actor Ryo Ichinose for getting the role of Black Dragon in an upcoming film version of Dragon Four, a role he had wanted to play himself. He also becomes convinced Ryo has no respect for the genre. Hostilities continue on the set of the movie, but eventually the two men start to gain respect for each other and even start to form a friendship.

Soon, Ryo is given the starring role in an upcoming Hollywood movie titled "Last Blade" being shot on location in Japan. However, production is eventually halted when a stunt actor quits abruptly, refusing to film a dangerous scene in which his character fights a team of ninjas while engulfed in flames. The foreign staff members are left in the lurch, but they soon decide to call in the man they've heard is the best stunt actor in Japan - Wataru Honjo.

While a menacing typhoon approaches, an accident at the giant natural gas plant Regalia occurs. Japan Coast Guard rescue divers Daisuke Senzaki, Tetsuya Yoshioka and engineer Hiroshiichirou Sakuragi head together to the gas plant. During their rescue efforts an explosion occurs that traps Daisuke, Natsu Nishizawa Kazue Fukiishi and worker Hisayoneo Kizima. Daisuke then looks for a way out for his party with a man he just meets Takuya Hotori. Because of the typhoon, even a helicopter cannot approach the Regalia.

Meanwhile, at the head office of the Japan Coast Guard, the Japanese coast guard tries to find a way to rescue the trapped people, but the government officials put national interests first. Tension arises between these two parties. Daisuke's wife Tamakisai Senzaki prays for the safe return of Daisuke not only for her sake, but for their new born son.

Daisuke's party is still trapped in the giant plant have one last choice...

Yukihira Natsumi is a no-nonsense, intelligent Tokyo homicide cop known as the department's "number one" case closer, who nevertheless also has a bad reputation for not working well with others and pushing the limits of the law.
