The story follows Fushiki, a newbie employee from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare who is assigned to the department to work alongside Yukimura Kai, an 88-year-old vampire detective who still looks 18 due to his immortality. Together, they will investigate a series of murders by the “Ram Killer” that have been occurring every Christmas in the year of the Ram over a period of 70 years.

A man killed himself. Due to his death, three of his former classmates from art school, reunite for the first time in a long while. These three people have connections to the man in different ways, including his ex-girlfriend, the manager of a rugby club where the man played, and his ex-boyfriend. While struggling with their own lives, these three people begin to meet and have meals together.

Oda Chiharu worked as a designer for a company she has long coveted to work for, but, due to bullying by her boss, she quit her job. She finds pleasure in cooking and serving her food to other people. When she is alone, she often eats food from the convenience store.

Nakamura Seiko works in the PR department for a cosmetics company. Being influence by her family, she has grown up with the idea that marriage is mandatory and not optional. She now has a strong desire to marry, but her fiancé, who works in the same department, suddenly breaks off their engagement.

Amagai Eiji worked as a designer for an advertising agency, but he was suddenly transferred to the sales department. He doesn’t know what he wants to do anymore. He is a gay man, but he hasn't revealed his sexual orientation to his parents.

Jo Takumi has worked as a salesman for an advertising company for the past 3 years. He seems confident, but he actually tries hard to live up to expectations of those around him. His plan to digitize the reception desk, which he thought wouldn't be approved, is surprisingly greenlit. Jo Takumi is then placed in charge of laying off people who work at the reception desk. They face an evil criminal, but the criminal is not a simple evil person. The criminal exhibits exploding anger, which some younger people have against society. Younger people feel the criminal's behavior is not just a crime, but like representing themselves.

Set in a post-COVID world, Sawai Ryuichi (Ikuta Toma) is one half of a comedy duo Orenchi and plays the funny man. However, he causes a scandal and Orenchi is dropped from a television programme where they are regulars. Sawai cuts ties with his partner Sakane Akira (Emoto Tokio), quits their agency and shuts himself at home. Nevertheless, he continues to be an entertainer with an improvised comedy programme called Orenchi Channel that he streams live online. He has an AI robot that does everything it is asked from ordering meals to cleaning. In addition, it learns Sawai’s funny man routine and grows into the role of his partner for the programme. The rapid-fire comic dialogue with his AI robot goes down well with netizens and Sawai is very pleased. He is able to earn income to support his wife Rinko (Matsumoto Marika) and their young daughter, and is already over Orenchi. But one day, Sawai receives a strange phone call while live streaming. Because of that, he gets entangled in a preposterous situation beyond his wildest imagination. Can the programme end without any trouble and will his wife and daughter be safe?

Kobayashi Haruka fell in love before finding out that her boyfriend was actually a married man. At that time, a regular customer predicts that she will wind up meeting 3 different men. 21-year-old Kiki Inoue works part-time at a convenience store. She spends her days in a state of torpor. One day, Kiki Inoue meets Takumi Asaba, who is the CEO of a convenience store chain. She has a social media account where she reviews sweets. Her social media account has caught the CEO's attention. Takumi Asaba gets her to work on developing sweets to sell at his convenience store chain.

Meanwhile, Takumi Asaba became the CEO to turnaround his company that's ranked lowest among convenience store chains. While talking about developing new sweets, they become attracted to each other.

Arimura Kasumi suddenly gets a break from filming and returns to her hometown for the first time in a long while. Her mother Yumiko comes to the train station to pick her up and they head for the family home. She is idly chatting with her mother at home when a male stranger comes to visit. Nanase Sakura is a 23-year-old rookie nurse. She met Doctor Kairi Tendo several years ago and fell in love with him. To meet him again, she studied hard and became a nurse. After 5 years, she finally meets Kairi Tendo again, but he has a totally different personality than what she imagined. Season 2 of this drama starts off with Machi being married to Dai Yashiro, while Kenji Rusudo is a rival real estate agent.

Set in the 1960's, high school student Watanabe Toru loses his only friend Kizuki after he commits suicide. Toru, now looking for a new life, enters a university in Tokyo. By chance, Toru meets Kizuki's ex-girlfriend Naoko in the university. They grow close because they both share the same loss.

As Toru and Naoko grow even closer, Naoko's sense of loss also grows. After Naoko's 20th birthday, she leaves for a sanitarium in Kyoto. Toru, devastated by the situation, meets pure-hearted Midori during the spring semester. Midori looks like a small animal that just came into the world.
