Asagao continues her work as a forensic scientist at a university forensic medicine class in Kanagawa Prefecture. Her father Taira and her husband Shinya are busy with their work as detectives. Her daughter Tsugumi insists on having a younger sibling. Himokura Tetsu is a scientist who specialises in the study of parasites. He loathes people and is very sadistic. Tetsu bought a huge botanical garden in Hakone which he converted into his home and lab. He holes up in the conservatory where he researches his favourite parasites. His right arm is fitted with a black robotic hand. However, it is not known how this artificial hand came about. He is an eccentric genius who solves a series of difficult cases with astounding scientific methods.

When Shinichiro Kiyama was little, his family died in a plane accident. Since then, he has not made any friends and he has lived a lonely existence. One day, Shinichiro Kiyama acquires a special ability. His special ability is to see through the body of people who are about to die. Shinichiro Kiyama's life changes because of this. Shinichiro Kiyama meets Aoi Kiryu at a cellphone shop. He becomes attracted to her with her bright personality and Aoi Kiryu is attracted to Shinichiro Kiyama. They enjoy happy days together, but, all of a sudden, Shinichiro Kiyama is able to see through Aoi Kiryu’s body.

Kahoko Nemoto is a naive 21-year-old university student. She relies on her mother, Izumi (Hitomi Kuroki), for everything in her life. Her mother wakes her up everyday, picks up her clothes, while Kahoko Nemoto has never done housework or driven a car. One day, Kahoko Nemoto meets a young man who grew up in a completely opposite environment.

When a worldwide electrical outage occurs, everything that requires electricity comes to a stop. Yoshiyuki Suzuki decides to escape with his family from Tokyo, that is nearly ruined.

A young woman is discovered strangled to death at the boat pier of a park in Tokyo’s Koto Ward. No personal belongings are found and her identity is not known. There are no signs of disturbed clothing and assault, and because the body was abandoned at a prominent spot, it shows that this was a premeditated crime by a criminal with the presence of mind. Joto Chuo Police Precinct’s detective Katsuragi Kunihiko (Tokito Saburo) who rushed to the scene, and the fact that the body is barefoot weighs on his mind. The next morning, the Thirteenth Section of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police’s First Investigative Division come and first investigation meeting gets underway. Led by Yamaoka Muneo (Sano Shiro), the Thirteenth Section is an outstanding team, but they are also said to be treat precinct detectives like commodities with their arrogant manner. However, what surprises Katsuragi is the director who appeared for the meeting. The young commander who looks like he is still a student, is Katsuragi’s only son, Toshifumi (Tanaka Kei)! Katsuragi used to be the ace of the First Investigative Division, but two years ago, his wife suddenly passed away. He transferred to the precinct due to his sense of loss. Because he was occupied with work and left the household to his wife, he does not even know why Toshifumi aspired to be a career officer. Naturally, he did not hear a word about him being in charge of this case as a director too. Katsuragi feels that it will be “an extremely burdensome case” in this complicated situation which he is in. This bad presentiment immediately proves to be right. Complaints from the area’s residents pour in because of the intimidating way in which the Thirteenth Section made door-to-door inquiries. The detectives of Joto Chuo Police Precinct are also displeased with the overbearing attitude of the detectives of the Thirteenth section. After that, the investigation makes no progress at all. The only results they have is a report from forensics about “minute metallic particles collected from the scene”. However, there is nothing that they can link to the criminal. As time passes without the expected results, the situation develops in an unanticipated direction. Another young woman is found strangled to death on the deck of a cruiser moored at Koto Marina and the police finds no evidence of assault. Furthermore, the body is barefoot once again. Katsuragi does not think it is a casual coincidence that the two locations are by the waterside. He suspects the criminal of crossing the waterways, which are arguably the metropolis’ blind spots, by boat to transport the dead bodies from the crime scenes. Are the victims barefoot because of some message from the criminal!? The case gets plunged into more and more confusion.

Dr. Kaede Kojima (Matsushima Nanako) is now the staff leader at Minato University Hospital's Emergency and Critical Care Center. It's been a month since she took that position. She's calm and precise in her role as staff leader, but she doesn't let others get close to her. The relationship between staff members is awkward because of this. Others can't figure out why Hospital Director Tooru Mogami (Danta Yasunori) put Kaede Kojima in her position. One day, a patient's family asks the hospital to stop a donor transplant. Hospital Director Tooru Mogami calls Dr. Kaede Kojima in for a meeting. When Kaede Kojima gets there, Tooru Mogami and Yasuhiro Sugiyoshi (Tezuka Toru) wait for her. Yasuhiro Sugiyoshi complains about the cancellation of the donor transplant and blames staff members for not persuading the patients' family enough. Tooru Mogami then reveals that he invited donor transplant specialist Dr. Mamoru Natsume (Tokito Saburo). Around this time, tragedy strikes with multiple stabbings and an explosion. The Emergency and Criticial Care Center is inundated with injured victims. Chaos ensues as the staff fails to work together and the doctors do not cooperate or communicate with each other.

A major newspaper has informally decided to employ a female university student. However, shock ripples within the newspaper because of a weekly magazine’s scoop that she is the daughter of the criminal in a serious case. This was the kidnapping of a newborn baby at a big hospital 20 years ago. The criminal demanded a ransom from the director of the hospital instead of the parents. But after the criminal had the large sum of money in hand, he died in an accident while being pursued by the police. The baby was never found. Kaji Hidekazu, a former hotshot journalist who has become deadwood in the wake of an incident, is ordered by the newspaper to re-investigate the kidnapping case. He finds out the shocking, tragic truth which had been kept under wraps.

Aiko Uzaki (Satomi ISHIHARA) is a "daddy's girl" who was raised by her father as her mother died when she was one. Her father, Kentaro (Saburo TOKITO) has set up some strict rules and controlled his daughter's life literally 24-7. Now that she's 20 years old and has started working for a fashionable clothing company, it's only natural that she expects some freedom, but that's not what her father thinks. When she falls in love with a nice young man, Seiji MIURA (Junnosuke TAGUCHI), even her strict father reluctantly accepts the fact that his daughter has her own life, but then, they have to overcome some difficulties. This is a heartwarming comedy about an outrageous yet strong bond between a father and a daughter who try to find out the true meaning of happiness through lots of laughter and tears.

The drama’s setting is the Tokyo Area Control Center (nicknamed “Tokyo Control”), which serves as the air traffic control center for Tokyo and surrounding regions. Kawahara plays one of the cool-headed controllers at the center. Although her job focuses on resolving various situations encountered by the aircraft, the show will explore the lives of the people at Tokyo Control.

'Subete wa Kimi ni Aeta Kara' follows various different people and couples in 6 loosely connected stories. All of the stories are set at Tokyo Station and take place just before Christmas. The different characters range from a company president who distrusts human beings, to a train driver who just received the shocking diagnosis that he has only half a year left to live. # "Eve no Koibito" ('Christmas Eve Lover') - A company president (Tamaki) meets a woman (Takanashi), who just lost a beloved person, in a restaurant at Tokyo Station. He thinks that all women only like his money and enjoys being alone. She originally moved to Tokyo to become an actress, but now she is planning to go back to her hometown right after her short play at an orphanage. # "Enkyori Renai" ('Long Distance Relationship') - A love-dovey couple that is going through a long distance relationship. She (Kimura) is an aspiring fashion designer in Tokyo and he (Higashide) is a construction worker in Sendai. Will their hectic schedules allow them to at least meet each other on Christmas? # "Christmas Present" - Ichikawa plays a woman who works in an orphanage. That day she is waiting for the new mother of the 7-year-old Akane to come and pick her up. # "Nibun no Ichi Seijin Shiki" ('A Half Coming-Of-Age Ceremony') - A train driver (Tokito) who cannot bring himself to tell his son that he only has half a year left to live. The train driver's wife is played by Otsuka. # "Christmas no Yuuki" ('Christmas Courage') - A part-timer (Honda) at a cake shop has a crush on her senior at work, but she lacks the courage to approach him. # "Okurete Kita Present" ('Belated Present') - The owner of the cake shop at Tokyo Station (Baisho) gets reminded of a promise that she made with a certain someone (Kobayashi) 49 years ago.

Fukada Kyoko plays the role of the main character, Shinoda Kaori, who works in the airport control tower as an air traffic controller. As a single small error of judgment can lead to a catastrophe, air traffic controllers must be on alert at all times. And this is why it is considered to be one of the most difficult occupations in the world. This drama will portray the teamwork and struggles between Shinoda and the other staff, dramas that arise at the airport and the secrets of airports... As well, along with real life stories that have occurred in the airport, it will portray how the aiport staff ensures the safety of people and the importance of protecting lives.

When a Japanese rock band decides to give their lead singer Takako a birthday she'll never forget. One of the members get's one of his friends (who also works in an acting troupe) to pretend they are bad guys that want to kill her and her father (who they say is a spy and he's also hiding in Hong Kong). But the joke goes too far and Takako actually heads off to Hong Kong to try and save her Father from these thugs. But things start to look like they could actually be coming true for her.
