Mochizuki Seitaro was full of enthusiasm as a pyrotechnist, but 1 year later (after the season one finale), his enthusiasm for his work has gone away. He hardly goes out, and he lives like a recluse. His fireworks store, which has been passed down for generations in his family, is still open but in danger of going out of business. Meanwhile, Mizumori Hikari works part-time as a pyrotechnist at a different fireworks store. In the midst of all this, for the first time in a while - a quarrel breaks out between Wataru and Seitaro. Then, a mysterious woman, Fumiko Noguchi, suddenly visits the shop and not only asks to become Seitaro's apprentice but also suddenly proposes to him. Seitaro, Hikari, Fumika, and Wataru will live under one roof.

The story is set in a small Italian restaurant. Half-brothers Fuyuuma Amazuki and Haruyo Amatsuki, Haruyo's childhood friend, Torataro, and his friend, Sora, manage the restaurant, which is small but secretly popular but has a "secret menu" that solves the problems of customers who visit the restaurant.

In fact, the younger brother, Haruyo, is the heir to the large company Amazuki Holdings, and according to his promise to his father, he has to inherit the family when he turns 30. As the deadline passes and his father's secretary, Kaede Kusumi, urges him to return to work, it becomes clear that her father is ill and has only a short time left to live.

Ichijo Nozomi is a maiko - an apprentice geisha raised strictly by her geisha mother in Kyoto. The two girls meet by coincidence one day, and realize they had been brought to each other by a powerful fate because of their striking resemblance. Locations include Shimane and Kyoto. Dandan means "thank you" in the Izumo dialect.

An elderly woman from North Korea doesn’t have much time left to live and a theatre actor acts as her grandson in order to fulfill her final wish.

Ja Geum Soon is a woman born in 1930 in North Korea. She escapes to South Korea during wartimes and is separated from her husband and child. While waiting for her family, she establishes Hotel Nakwon, a hotel chain in South Korea.

Jae Heon is an unknown theatre actor who acts as Geum Soon’s grandson Moon Sung in order to fulfill her wish.

Se Yeon is Geum Soon’s granddaughter who is in charge of Hotel Nakwon.

Doctor Ji Xian Yun is an intern at a medical school in the modern times. She time travels to the olden times into the Chancellor's second daughter's body who tried to commit suicide to escape marriage. Prince Ming Wang is the fiance of the Chancellor's elder daughter, but she refuses the marriage because of his strange illness, which makes him have a big stomach. Ji Xian Yun is tricked into marriage with Ming Wang by her family.

Bor (Pong Nawat) and Kaew (Aom Piyada) are lovers who are about to get marry. Then, tragedy strikes. Bor is enraged with his past girlfriend/fiancee's relationship with a younger man, but at the same time, he cannot endure the hurt and pain that Awn, Putt and Pipat put Kaew through and vows to protect her, the only woman he's ever loved.

The team then takes on the task of resolving impossible cold cases.
