Ruan Tang is a super foodie with special skills. Not only can she crack the secret recipe of any food; she can also use her nose to determine the food within a radius of ten miles. She wants to become a food editor, but her father wants her to take over his restaurant. Wang Moyu, a talented and black-bellied male chef comes to study cooking from Ruan Tang's father. After seeing Moyu's love for food, her father decides to teach him all that he knows. Ruan Tang and Moyu butt heads as Eastern and Western food culture collides creating sparks between the two.

The students and teachers at Sungjin High School receive a terrifying shock when they witness the start of an alien invasion. Coming from the skies, horrific “eggs” hatch violent insect-like creatures that attack humans. The invasion is worldwide, and the South Korean military fears it will be overwhelmed. Tae-ho is also feeling cornered and desperate after losing everything (becoming homelessness), but he vows to not let this bad deal kill him and works his way back. The story depicts the pecking order of the homeless people who live inside Seoul Station and the secret organizations among them. It’s an action-thriller about a hero who claws himself up from rock bottom to figure out what went wrong with his deal and get his life back

A story of a blended family follows Liu Bi Yun and Jiang Tian Huai who became husband and wife in their second marriage. Each with children of their own, they not only face outside challenges in their career but also have to handle family members with very different personalities. They return to the city after ten years of separation. Liu Bi Yun's stepdaughter Jiang Mei and grandma are the instigators of many conflicts within the family but Liu Bi Yun never takes it to heart as she tries to be a good mother and a good influence.

Although Jiang Lin and Li Bing are not biological brothers, they are always ready to help each other through difficulties. Jiang Xue is someone who's been hurt due to relationship problems but she manages to move on through the help of her family. She works hard to enter university and relies on gaining knowledge to change her destiny. Jiang Sen married early in the countryside and his wife Wang Gai Feng habitually disagrees with her mother-in-law.

The mother and father of the family pour their love and devotion to ensure that their children can grow happily. As they enter the old age, the two look back to the past with no regrets. To be born as their sons and daughters is a fortunate thing.
