Ahn Dae Sung has excellent memory. Even though he failed his exam to become a 9th grade public official for 3 years, he is still studying to pass that exam. He works part-time at MS Mart in the outskirts of Seoul, which his mother owns. His girlfriend is Ah Hee, who works as a police officer. Both his mother and girlfriend are supportive of him.

One day, a mysterious murder case takes place near an apartment building. MS Mart is located close to the murder scene. Ah Hee investigates the murder case by herself. Soon, Dae Sung and his mother, Myung Sook joins her investigation. The only clue of the murder case is a receipt that was issued from MS Mart.

Set during the Joseon era, Hong Cheon Ki is a female painter with a genius like painting talent. She is picked as the first female painter of the Dohwaseo (Korean Royal Academy of Painting). Hong Cheon Ki also has a beautiful appearance and a bright personality. For her, painting is everything. One day, she meets Ha Ram.

Ha Ram is an officer at the Seowoongwan, an office in charge of astronomy, geography, art of divination, meteorology. When he was young, an accident caused him to become blind. Hong Cheon Ki falls in love with him and she doesn't care that he is blind. Hong Cheon Ki keeps appearing in front of Ha Ram and he finds himself waiting for her.

“Romantic Doctor Kim” is a “real doctor” story set in a small, humble hospital called Dol Dam Hospital. It is a story about people who meet Kim Sa Bu (Han Suk Kyu), a genius doctor, and discover “real romance.”

Along with genius Teacher Kim, Cha Eun Jae is a second year fellow in the cardiosurgery department who enjoys studying and has confidently walked the path of an elite student for most of her life. Seo Woo Jin, a cynical second year fellow who doesn’t believe in happiness because of his hardships growing up, but he shows impressive levels of concentration and talent when he is performing surgery.

Kyung Min is an average female living by herself in a studio apartment. When she gets to her place after work, she finds her door lock cover left open. Slightly scared of this, she changes her password. However, just before she goes to sleep, she hears someone trying to unlock her door. Startled by this, Kyung Min calls the police. Yet, the cops only show annoyance and no sympathy towards the frightened Kyung Min. A few days later, she finds more hints of someone trying to enter her home, and a murder incident occurs. Realizing she’s not safe and that the police are not to be trusted, she starts investigating on her own.
