They navigate between the Imperial Guards, Taoist Priests, and the Scorpion-Eyed creatures, unraveling the truth amidst various enigmas, and gaining insights into true love through numerous life-and-death experiences. The answers seem within reach, but they find themselves ensnared in an even larger conspiracy. Will the truth and their love prevail?

The last of them, Nan Yin had a perfect family since she was a child, and her only form of disobedience over the years was to get a marriage certificate in order to resist her mother's control.

Three different people, three different stories and one family. Each of them tries to cut themselves off from their roots, but the past and blood ties, don't let them to be forgot. Will they be able to put their complicated ties together and find mutual support after many years?

During the war between Wei and Shu, the Shu defeated the Wei using the crossbows they make. In order to attain this powerful weapon, the Wei sent numerous spies to infiltrate the Shu kingdom and steal it. Chen Gong and Xun Xu are Shu spies who have infiltrated Wei kingdom for many years. After knowing the plan of Wei, they decided to work separately to stop it. Chen Gong continued to stay in Wei kingdom, while Xun Xu went back to Shu kingdom to investigate. In the midst of investigation, Xun Xu finds out the thief of the crossbows - Mei Chong. He also discovers a highly skilled spy named Zhu Long who is ambushed in Shu kingdom, who is waiting for the opportunity to initiate the Qing Ping plan. Xun Xu devised a scheme to hook Mei Chong, using it as an opportunity to destroy the spy network in Shu kingdom.

Despite eventually capturing Gao Chengtang, a corrupted officer, the real Zhu Long is actually someone else. Chen Gong also ends his spy career in Wei kingdom, and goes back to Shu kingdom. Together, Xun Xu and Cheng Gong investigates the Zhu Long incident and discovers the truth behind the Qing Ping plan.

However the couple has no choice but to put on a pretense due to their children and family. Chen Binbin, who regretted his rashness, tries his best to win back his wife.

It tells the story of villagers from Ningxia who migrated and built Minning Town from scratch.

The government wants to build the rural housing land, and encourages the farmers of Xiji Country to migrate or relocate. However, the conditions of the desert is too harsh. The villagers who moved there mostly left the second day. Ma Defu uses every ways to mobilize everybody to Diao Zhuang, and tries his best to get the villagers to stay. In 1966, the the Party Central Committee made a strategic plan to promote counterpart cooperation between the East and the West, which identified Fujian counterparts to promote poverty alleviation work in Ningxia. Fujian experts came to the village to teach the villagers to grow mushrooms, so that everyone was able to earn their first pot of gold. They then tried their best to find a market for the mushrooms. The workers in Fujian encouraged and promoted the export of labor services in Ningxia, and actively created conditions for the villagers to go to Fujian to work. Poverty alleviation policies have blossomed in all directions, and Minning Town has begun to take shape. Zhang Shucheng took the post of the Secretary of the Party Committee of Minning Town. While continuing the three-level water pumping project, he also strengthened the export of labor services and attracted investments. The appearance of Minning Town was given a new look, and more and more villagers signed up for relocation. As time passes, Minning Town was given a new lease of life.
