Hong Yun Shi was a pure and innocent girl who remained cheerful despite growing up in poverty. Her unfortunate circumstances drives her to marry the rich Byung Joo, but she is soon betrayed by her husband and her mother-in-law. When she discovers that her mother-in-law also had a hand in her mother’s mysterious disappearance, Yun Shi finds herself slowly losing all semblance of her original purehearted self and turning into someone obsessed with revenge. Soo Ri, who loves Yun Shi deeply, is helpless to do anything but watch over her with warmth and love.

A firefighter starts playing detective in his spare time to bring down a psychotic arsonist in this thriller. Hee-su (Cha Seung-weon) is a man with a dangerous obsession; having served a long prison sentence for arson, Hee-su has not only failed to change his ways, but is returning to his firebug ways with a vengeance, even torching his cell with a remote device on the day of his release. Hee-su starts out relatively small but soon begins lighting up bigger and more important targets, and as he starts deadly fires that claim lives at a local hospital, dedicated fireman Sang-woo (Choi Min-su) makes it his mission to bring Hee-su to justice. Libera Me proved to be a popular breakthrough for director Yang Yun-ho, who is better known for more serious fare.

A female teacher called Mrs Park (better known by her unaffectionate nickname ‘Old Fox' on account of her nasty behaviour and treatment of the students), has discovered something mysterious and weird concerning a late pupil of the school called Jin-ju. Jin-ju had committed suicide in the school's art rooms nine years previously, and her ghost was said to haunt the art rooms which had been closed up after the incident.
