Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and chronicling the Chinese Revolution. The film, set in 1921, reflects on the Communist Party's early history during the turbulent era, examining the remarkable Chinese revolutionary leaders' zeal and contrition for the ascension of the Chinese people.

Somewhere at Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture lives a woman and her son. The woman is Mashiro Ao who has lost her husband and bookstore come home from the Tohoku earthquake. It has been 10 years since the disaster and Ao decides to renovate a vacant place and reopen the bookstore which her late husband used to love. Ao then meets an architect, Hayama Eiki who is not good at socialising. However, after much interactions, they begin to get attracted to each other.

Ichiko works as a home health nurse. She visits a family where she has become almost a part of their family. Ichiko helps Motoko from that family study to become a nurse. Ichiko is the only person to whom Motoko opens her mind to. One day, Motoko’s younger sister Saki goes missing. One week later, Saki returns home safely, but the person who is arrested for Saki's kidnapping is an unexpected figure.

Reggie (Satoshi Tsumabuki) is a 2nd generation Japanese immigrant who works at a sawmill in Vancouver. He is the leader of the team and plays shortstop. Roy (Kazuya Kamenashi) is the team's ace pitcher and works at a fishery field. Kaye (Ryo Katsuji) is the team's 2nd baseman and co-worker of Reggie. Tom (Yusuke Kamiji) is the catcher and works at a tofu shop. Frank (Sosuke Ikematsu) works at a hotel and plays baseball with the team.

Since Reiko (Mieko Harada) turned 60-years-old, she seems to get more and more forgetful, but her husband Katsuaki (Kyozo Nagatsuka), first son Kousuke (Satoshi Tsumabuki) and second son Shunpei (Sosuke Ikematsu) do not care or notice. One day, Reiko goes to see a doctor and is diagnose with brain tumor. She only has a week to live.

After Reiko tells the her family that "a family that gets scattered makes me scared," she seems to become a totally different person. As if she has Alzheimer's, Reiko says whatever is on her mind.

A housewife named Rika Umezawa gets a part-time job at a bank in which she’s responsible for traveling to customers’ homes and collecting their deposits. In spite of receiving positive evaluations from her boss and customers alike for her courteousness and work ethic, she begins to feel a void in her life. Her husband seems to be losing interest in her and the two of them have been gradually drifting apart.

Soon, she engages in an affair with a university student named Kota and begins embezzling money from the bank customers’ deposits she’s responsible for collecting. As she spends more time with Kota and away from her husband, her theft escalates rapidly in order to fund her trysts as well as her newfound addiction to shopping.

Kuraki Naotake is the top ace of the Public Safety Department. Osugi Ryota is a top-notch straight-talking detective from the MPD. Akeboshi Misa is an investigator from the Public Safety Department. Together, the 3 of them investigate on the bombing incident in Shinjuku. Naotake had specifically requested to be on the investigation team as he had lost his wife in the said incident.

People gather at a split-level flat on a backstreet of Roppongi, Tokyo, men pay ¥20,000, women ¥1,000 and couples ¥5,000 apiece to spend the hours of midnight to 5 a.m. at a sex party. A moody Neet guy empties out his bank account for this night of pleasure, and a bespectacled college student who at first impresses as mousy and shy join the party. Presiding over this orgy are a jaded manager and bartender who explain and enforce three simple rules: Take showers prior to sex, use protection and respect the wishes of the women. Most dangerously, the Neet guy is falling quietly and hard for the student, who reveals herself as the horniest of all, while never quite breaking out of her shell.

He is smart, good at sports and popular with both genders, but he has neither encountered hardships nor setbacks, and has nimbly made his way through an innocuous life. In fact, Miyata's way of life is far from the qualities of a police officer who protects the lives and possessions of citizens.

"Heita is an ordinary high school boy with a kind heart but no real interest in romance. His class is joined by a transfer student named Q10 ( pronounced "kyu-to" the same as "cute" ), who looks like a girl but is actually a robot. Together, the two end up causing trouble at school, and Heita even begins falling for Q10."
