One day, Ji-Hwan (Cha Tae-Hyun) begins to receive letters from an unidentified person. The letters, containing black-and-white photos of happy children playing, remind Ji-Hwan of his old two friends. Five years earlier, while Ji-Hwan is taking pictures with his camera, two girls, Soo-In (Son Ye-Jin) and Gyung-Hee (Lee Eun-Ji), walk into the frame. Ji-Hwan falls in love with Soo-In at first sight. He then musters up enough courage to confess his love to her, but she refuses him very politely. Even so, Ji-Hwan doesn't give up and tells them that he wants to be friends the next time they meet. Ever since then, the three of them start a wonderful friendship. They spend time each other always, and consider it the most precious moments of their lives. But they become confused between love and friendship and, finally, Gyung-hee and Soo-in leave him without a trace. The random letters inspire Ji-Hwan to depart anxiously on a long journey to find his old friends, but while looking for Soo-in and Gyung-hee, he confronts a beautiful yet sad secret.

Kim Ho Jin will play Heo Myung Pil, an elite newspaper reporter but an immature and irresponsible husband. Kang Sung Yun will play Gyung Gook Hee, a bright and valiant wife. It was about 1,400 years ago. Director E J-yong signs on to direct a short advertorial film and becomes taken with the whimsical notion of directing the film not from on set, but from an off-site location using Web-based technology. E writes this very idea into his short film, a story about a director who attempts to "remote direct" his film set in order to go on a date. E then rounds up an impressive star-studded cast, but secretly flies out to Hollywood, Los Angeles in order to put his plan to action. On the morning of the first day of shoot, E J-yong greets his cast and crew through a monitor. Without the director on set, the film goes spiraling into chaos.

In the royal palace of King Jung-Jo, court nurse Chun-Ryung (Park Jin-Hee) is called into the quarters of the royal concubine Hee-Bin (Yoon Se-Ah). One of the royal concubine's maids Wol-Ryung (Seo Yeong-Hee) is found hanging to death in her maid chamber. Court nurse Chun-Ryung investigates the area and realizes fairly quickly that Wol-Ryung did not commit suicide.

Nevertheless, the supervising maid orders court nurse Chun-Ryung to classify the woman's death as a suicide. Otherwise, a forthcoming scandal would jeopardize royal concubine Hee-Bin's source of power and, consequently, the maids source of power.

Meanwhile, court nurse Chun-Ryung conducts an autopsy on Wol-Ryung. She discovers a startling secret. Wol-Ryung recently gave birth to a child, even though maids are sworn to keep their chastity for the King. Court nurse Chun-Ryung is now almost certain that someone murdered Wol-Ryung and begins her own secret investigation.

James O'Neil is a 28 year old man who was adopted by people overseas when he was young. He is the CEO of a very large supermarket and is the typical man with cool charm and deals with things in a cool and collected manner. Lee Jin Hee is 32 years old and her husband suffered a horrible accident on the 6th month they were married. She takes care of their son for seven years and is faced with bankruptcy. Jin Hee meets James and they do business together and soon they develop a romantic love story.
