People hear predictions on when they will die. When that time comes, a death angel appears in front of them and kills them.

Jung Jin Soo is the head of the new religion Saejinrihwe. He speaks about the phenomenon when death angels from Hell come and state it's a revelation from God. Jung Jin Soo has intense charisma and a mysterious aspect.

Bae Young Jae is a program director for a broadcasting station. He tries to dig out the truth about the religious group Saejinrihwe. Min Hye Jin is a lawyer. She stands up against the group “Hwasalchok” (‘Arrowhead’), which consists of people who blindly follow Saejinrihwe.

Song So Hyun is Bae Young Jae’s wife. She collapses in emotional pain, which she can not deal with. Jin Kyung Hoon is a detective and investigates cases involving the appearance of angels of death.

Jin Woo, who resides on a sheep ranch in Hwacheon, Gangwon-do, lives a quiet life with his daughter Seol. Ranch owner Joong Man and his daughter Moon Kyeong treat them as family. Soon after, Jin Woo’s male friend Hyun Min arrives at the ranch, and reveals that the two have been long-time lovers. They dream of living happily with Seol in this peaceful place. However, with Jin Woo’s twin sister Eun Young’s visit, the conflict begins. In fact, Seol is Eun Young’s daughter but Jin Woo has been raising her because Eun Young disappeared. Like the close-up scene of the sheep wool in the beginning, A Far Place is a story that is not noticed from afar but revealed when looked closely. The local folks, who seemed friendly and gentle, show their true colors, and become exclusive and discriminatory as they learn about the truth of the two men. Even the intentions of family members, who thought they knew each other well, feel like ‘a far place.’ Like Jin Woo’s mind, the beautiful autumn landscape of Gangwon-do turns into harsh winter, but the film believes there is still a ray of hope.

“Supper” is a shabby Korean Diner in the countryside near a small train station. Young Shin is in her third year of high school, but while her classmates go straight to academies after school, she rushes to the market to buy cheap ingredients for the diner. The regular customers who bought daily meal tickets for 4 dollars, and enjoyed a generous, delicious warm dinner, became the “Supper” family. Since Young Shin was little, she learned how to cook from Gyung Soo, the owner of the Diner. She grew up with Da Jung, Jung Hoon and Oh Bok. Jung Hoon, moved to the countryside with his father after he divorced Jung Hoon’s mother. Oh Bok, was raised by his grandmother and uncle, after his parents abandoned him. Da Jung, and her parents, ate at “Supper” because both her parents worked. They became closer than most siblings over 12 years. Four young people show up in Gyung Soo’s life, unraveling a lively story of love, friendship, ambition and forgiveness.
