Detective Kosuke Nitta (Takuya Kimura) must go undercover and work again at the Hotel Cortesia Tokyo. There, he meets Naomi Yamagishi (Masami Nagasawa), who works as a concierge. Without any information about the criminal, except that the person will be in attendance, Detective Kosuke Nitta works feverishly to find the criminal among the 500 attendees.

The large company's policy is only focused on making a profit, so Akira Shimazaki isn't happy about with his new employer. To stay true to his belief of protecting the weak, he quits his job at the private security company. Akira Shimazaki begins to work for himself as a private bodyguard. Masaya Takanashi has a strong sense of duty as a bodyguard. He wonders why his Akira Shimazaki quit his job at their security company. To find out, Masaya Takanashi visits Akira Shimazaki.

Kazama Kimichika is an instructor at a police academy. He is keenly observant and watches over his students. He is calm as an instructor and has charisma, but strict. Students with various backgrounds attend the police academy with their own reasons of becoming police officers. They feel pressure having to follow the strict rules and have anxiety about getting kicked out of the academy. How many students will graduate among the 90 students? What is the real purpose of Kimichika Kazama giving hardship to the students?

Three murder cases take place in Tokyo. Numbers are left at the murder scenes, possibly hinting at where the next murder will take place. An investigation begins of the serial killer and Detective Nitta Kosuke works on the case. He believes the next murder will take place at Hotel Koruteshia Tokyo. To catch the killer, Kosuke goes undercover and begins working at the front desk of the hotel.

However, he is occasionally under illusion that his routine more than five years ago is the existing reality. This time, he ended up coming back home to Kaoru and Subaru. He hastily hands back the key and heads for the house he should return to where his current family waits. It is an ordinary home where he lives with his wife, Megumi, and their 4-year-old son Yoshio. However, Hisashi sees the faces of Megumi and Yoshio as masks. He can neither tell their facial expressions nor their emotions, let alone his love for them. This distresses him. On the other hand, he feels love for Kaoru and Subaru. What sort of days did he have in those five years which are a blank to him? Hisashi decides to set out on a journey to find his past self, relying on the bunch of keys that he has. He becomes aware that he was a cold, career-minded man before the accident while he visits people connected with his past. The persona that is gradually revealed is beyond the imagination of his present kindhearted self.

Halu (Kimura Takuya) is the captain and star player of an ice hockey team, who is greatly respected by his teammates. Whenever Halu and Hyodo see each other, they get into a quarrel; consequently influencing Halu's behavior during games. Seeing that his game ended in a brawl, Aki visits Halu to comfort him. But he tells her that she is being too friendly with him. Aki is hurt, Halu is irritated, and his teammate Hotta (Sakaguchi Kenji) can't stand seeing Halu like this...

This drama is set in the late 1960s decade of Japan. The main rivalry depicted in the story is between Manpyo Daisuke (Kitaoji Kinya), a powerful banker, and his eldest son, Manpyo Teppei (Kimura Takuya), the executive managing director of a steel firm. For some reasons, Daisuke seem to dislike his own son and as Teppei seems to find out the reason for Daisuke's hatred, his whole life is turned upside down with fatal consequences.

Five years after leaving Josai bureau, Kuryu Kohei, who has been working in Sapporo, Hokkaido, is transferred to Nijigaura, Yamaguchi (a fictitious town, its real name is Nijigahama), a quiet place on the seaside where he arrives precisely when the first murder in eleven years has been committed. Soon, Takita Akihiko, the most beloved and influent person of the town, is suspected and Kuryu has to deal with this problem, as the other members are too frightened to take any action.

An SP in which the atmosphere of the renzoku series is kept, even though the cast has been almost entirely replaced. The fact that the story is located in the countryside gives the little bit of originality this episode needed. And it is with great pleasure that we meet again several characters of the renzoku series who make an apparition as guests.

A drama commemorating TBS's 60th anniversary, the story is about 11 members who were sent to the South Pole for the first time in February 1957 in a national project to explore Antartica. They were accompanied by a dogsled of 19 Sakhalin huskies. When they left for Japan a year later, they were forced to leave the dogs behind due to the bad weather. In January 1959, Kuramochi Takeshi and some others joined a third expedition to ascertain the fate of the dogs.
