Sara Masaki is a detective of Investigation Team 1 at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. His colleague, Detective Saito Kota, dies during an investigation of a murder case. Afterward, Masaki is transferred to the Personnel Department 1 of the Inspection Division. He still suffers from the death of his colleague. The other workers around Masaki are hostile to him. One day, a letter reaches the personnel department. The letter claims that Detective Minaguchi Nako leaks secret information. Detective Nako used to work with Masaki Investigation Team 1. Masaki begins to investigate the claim in the letter. His investigation leads him to the unsolved case of the death of his colleague.

Hasebe Sosuke is the deputy editor-in-chief for the Japanese version of the fashion magazine "The Most" which is released in 30 countries worldwide. He is an unfriendly and cool rationalist. He's been transferred from the New York branch to complete a particular mission. When he was young, he was fat and often bullied. Now a handsome elite, he strives to meet his first love again. On the other hand, Sato Ai is unemployed and living with her best friend. After her company went bankrupt, she's eventually hired as a helper. She's a cheerful, energetic, and honest person. In her youth, she was a beautiful honor student who has now grown into a self-conscious person. Although she meets Sosuke again, she doesn't want to reveal her identity.

Story continues from the Japanese Signal drama series. In 2021, a limousine taxi driver causes an accident on a highway and a high-level government official dies in the accident. Cold case investigation team, including Kento Saegusa and team leader Misaki Sakurai, have doubts about the case. Meanwhile, in 2009, administrative officers die consecutively in car accidents. The police announce these deaths as accidents. Takeshi Ōyama believes that these deaths were not the product of simple accidents. At 11:23 pm, a walkie-talkie turns on and makes a connection between the future and past. Kento Saegusa and Takeshi Ōyama face the threat of bioterrorism.

The story begins shortly after the finale episode of the 2018 drama, and then moves to 2020, two years later.

It tells the rise of Ito Jakuchu, a rich merchant turned talented artist in mid-Edo era Kyoto. He receives the support and admiration of his friend and mentor, Zen monk and poet, Daiten Kenjo. An apprentice from a toy shop in town, Iwajiro, who longs to become a famous artist himself, envies Jakuchu's connections and position. Iwajiro, who does not have the same privileged background as that of Jakuchu's, vows to beat him someday. Other notable artists that they cross paths with are Ikeno Taiga and his wife, Gyokuran, who both specialize in Chinese ink wash paintings. They are all guided by words of wisdom by the calligrapher, poet, and founder of the sencha tea ceremony Baisao. They are but a few of the personalities that make the historical and artistic atmosphere of Edo-era Kyoto, beautiful, rich and alive.

"Nobu" is a bar located on a not so busy street in Kyoto. The front entrance of the bar is connected to the alternate world of "Aiteria,” which is like medieval Europe. People from Aiteria visit the bar Nobu.

Nobuyuki Yazawa was once a chef at a high-end restaurant, but he is now the owner of Nobu. Shinobu Senke works as a waitress for the bar. She is bright, smart and pretty. The bar's cold beer "Toriaezu Nama" becomes popular and the bar thrives. Customers from Aiteria with various backgrounds like soldiers, merchants, and noblemen have a good time at Nobu.

The story revolves around the daily life of Sana Morikawa, a 30-year-old single woman who works in the finance department of a soap maker.

Architect Ayukawa Itsuki is paralyzed from waist down. And the man who came to attack him and later committed suicide, was her husband Reiji. For some reason, Shinsuke is frequently advised by the people around him that it is better not to recall bad things. He begins to have misgivings about the truth of the accident. Then when Shinsuke returns to the bar on one rainy night, Ruriko, a woman in mourning clothes and of unwordly beauty, shows up all of a sudden. From the time of her appearance, Shinsuke descends into a world of madness and anguish. Does she truly exist or is she a figment of imagination conjured by a guilty conscience?

Hikaru Ooyama (Gackt) is a famous photographer. He feels a sense of loss while surrounded by glamour in Tokyo. He decides to visit Okinawa. There, Hikaru Ooyama meets beautiful Mami Ishigaki (Suzuka Kimura). When he takes pictures at a waterfall in Yaeyama Islands, suddenly strong sunlight pours out and everything looks white. At that time, Mami Ishigaki disappears.

Nui is lost after the sudden death of her adoptive father Shimada Mataemon. Her own father met an untimely death when he was about to expose the corruption of the shogunate. She is determined to expose the collusion between Kannouji, and the unforgivable relationships between the ladies in waiting of the inner palace and the monks. Unexpectedly, Sakai and his girlfriend Akemi go missing. The duo are assumed to be kidnapped by Minowa and Nakao who are education consultants. Meanwhile, Kumagai and Naoko unwittingly become involved in a scheme to steal large amount of gold bars that were hidden by Sakai.

The original writing is a short mystery collection that takes a humorous approach to many of the genre's cliches. Matsuda stars as the "famous detective" Tenkaichi Daigoro, while Kashii Yu plays the female lead as a rookie cop.

“A completely undetectable poison that kills 24 hours after consumed.” It is the rumour that has spread on the internet of a lethal drug that makes the perfect crime possible. Detectives Sakurai Shintarou and Hikage Koichi are partners. They are also corrupt and often blackmail criminal groups and seize their money. One day, the Chief of Police becomes aware that 2.5 million yen in seized money is missing. He orders Shintarou and Koichi to bring the money in by tomorrow morning. Shintarou and Koichi are in big trouble. They then read an article about a pension fund embezzlement case involving 6 billion yen. The prime suspect of the pension fund embezzlement case spent most of that money, but he has 2.5 billion yen left.

Kiichiro Ota has recently begun work at an advertising agency. He is then forced to participate in the world's biggest TV Advertising Festival as a judge. There's parties held there every night and Kiichiro is paired with Hikari Ota, who shares the same family name, to act like husband and wife there.

At the festival, Kiichiro learns that if he doesn't allow the CM from his agency to win the grand prize then he will be fired. Directors from all over the world are gathered at the festival and the judges work within a hotel that is completely closed off. The directors scheme and bargain to make their agency win the grand prize.

Sae is a high school student who is studying hard for her college entrance exams. She lost her father when she was very young and so lives her mother Ryoko in Hokkaido, Japan. She then meets Kouhei, who attends a specialized high school teaching fishery. He hopes to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather as a fisherman. These two young people meet and have a long distance relationship. Although their love is strong it does not last.

In Tokyo, the reckless single mother Keiko moves to a small apartment with her twelve years old son Akira Fukushima and hidden in the luggage, his siblings Kyoko, Shigeru and Yuki. When Keiko finds a new boyfriend, she leaves the children alone, giving some money to Akira and assigning him to take care of his siblings. When the money finishes, Akira manages to find means to survive with the youngsters without power supply, gas or water at home, and with the landlord asking for the rental.

Reiko Akutsu (Reina Triendl) works for a residential construction company. She plans a lunch matchmaking meeting to find love with someone in the same company. New employee Yuika Amano (Mizuki Yamamoto) offers to join the matchmaking event. Yuika Amano and Reiko Akutsu hold the luncheon and meet two men. During their lunch, Yuika Amano and Reiko Akutsu hear a story filled with riddles by the two men. Yuika Amano can't help but to solve the riddles. Going forward, during their lunch matchmaking meetings, Yuika Amano hears various stories involving things like ghosts or missing people and she attempts to solve the mysteries.
