Lee Kyung Jin is one of the most powerful figures in Joseon but has been faced with a family crisis – his sons were found dead on their first day of marriage. Left with only his youngest son, Myung-kyu, Lee brings Ok Bun in the hopes of avoiding another death but Myung Kyu also dies while spending his first night with Ok Bun as a married couple. Nonetheless, Ok Bun, who was sold for money, gets pregnant, and becomes the youngest daughter-in-law. She suffers from severe hostility from other women in the family while a series of brutal murder and mysterious incidents occur in their home. Ok Bun soon realizes that her unborn child’s life is in grave danger.

Jang Doo Chil, a con artist who had been reported dead after committing a grand fraud case is rumored to be alive. A prosecutor, Park Hee Soo, who was in collusion with the con man needs to eliminate him to avoid a corruption scandal. When tracking down the con man, Hee Soo meets another fraudster named Ji Sung who is also after the same man for a personal revenge. Realizing their mutual goals, they decide to team up, but with hidden motives. They then recruit other swindlers; Suk Dong, Choon Ja, and Chief Kim, to throw bait at Jang Doo Chil's right-hand man, Seung Gun.

"Summer Snow" is an omnibus film featuring three stories, about the one and only moment for different couples to test their chances by confessing their true love to their neglected, special ones.

#1 Myung-hwan, a devoted detective, ran to the crime scene forgetting about a rendezvous with his daughter. While waiting for daddy to come, his daughter Chae-yoon gets killed in a hit-and-run accident. Feeling guilty about her death and determined to get her revenge, Myung-hwan embarks on the search for the hit-and-run driver by himself.

#2 As a scandal breaks about the romance between Korean wave star Jong-hyuk and actress Seo-jung, the latter’s long-time manager Tae-jung tries hard to split two lovers as he doesn’t approve this romance. Then suddenly, Tae-jung finds out that his days are numbered and starts to make a bucket list.

#3 Gang-chil is a former boxing champion who once had it all going for him. He enjoys spending his time at the hospital room bragging about his glorious past to other patients. One day, when his rival Jong-gu, who gave him the only defeat of his career then left the world of boxing forever, comes in the same ward, the last showdown between old rivals is set to begin.

Director Kim Dae-seung brings us a shocking historical thriller set in 19th century Korea. Blood Rain tells the story of a slew of grisly murders plaguing a small, fairly isolated island village. Shin Mi Rae is a low-ranking secretary in Inju, but she works her way up in becoming the youngest City Mayor. As their paths met, they have to deal with each other’s personal and social differences. But despite their constant bickerings, would they end up in each other’s arms?

Sung-chan is a top detective of the special crime squad. He is notorious for punishing the opponent who hurts his pride. When Hyun-min impersonates Sung-chan and robs a cash transport car under the daylight, and seizes $10 billion worth of smuggled gold right before the cops eyes, Sung-chan is outraged. He cannot let this criminal slip through. Sung-chan goes after Hyun-min like a wild beast going after its prey, but Hyun-min cunningly threads through the investigation, even leaving traces in the crime scenes on purpose to allure and provoke Sung-chan.

Tae Soo tries to steal from a gang. The gang catches Tae Soo's brother, Tae Jin, instead. The incident causes the brothers to separate. Tae Soo becomes a mob fixer and an assassin. Tae Jin becomes a police detective. When a call brings the brothers together, they get ready for brotherly bonding, but Tae Jin gets killed. Tae Soo decides to get revenge on his brother's killer.

After spending 17 years behind bars, Hyun-Woo (Ji Jin-Hee) is released from prison. During his college days, Hyun-Woo was involved in the student led anti-government protests that swept across Korea in the early 1980’s. Now that he is finally free, Hyun-Woo travels back to the town where he spent a few precious months immediately prior to his arrest. 17 years ago, Hyun-Woo fled into the rural areas of Korea, hiding from the government that was trying to quash his anti-government group. He found sanctuary in the home of Han Yoon-Hee (Yum Jung-Ah). She was a former sympathizer to the anti-government cause, but now living a modest life as a teacher in a small rural community. The couple quickly became intimate, Hyun-Woo able to provide the spark that was missing from Han Yoon-Hee’s simple life.

Unfortunately, while Hyun-Woo was still hiding in Han Yoon-Hee’s home, he learned that most of his fellow anti-government protesters were captured & imprisoned. Even though the government now has Hyun-Woo high on their most wanted list, he feels ashamed that he is living peacefully while his friends are imprisoned. Thus, he makes the difficult decision to leave Han Yoon-Hee and go back to the movement centered in Seoul. What he would later learn is that he left behind the sole person that would stay faithful to him throughout his 17 year imprisonment and also the woman that is carrying his baby.

But one day, he finally gets caught in his own act and gets transferred to a school in the boondocks.
