“Baseball Girl” is a new movie created as part of the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA)’s advanced feature film course. It is a story about a high school girl baseball player who is going to graduate from high school and is challenging herself to enter professional baseball.

Set in the 1940's when Korea was under Japanese occupation. Korean people were banned from speaking their own language during that time.

Pan Soo has been imprisoned several times and it is nothing special for him to go there. He does not know how to read or write the Korean language. One day, he steals Jung Hwan’s bag to help pay for his son's tuition fee. Jung Hwan is the son of a wealthy Korean family who is pro-Japanese. Yet, Jung Hwan is a representative of the Korean Language Society. By meeting Jung Hwan, Pan Soo's life soon changes. They work together to publish a Korean language dictionary.

Kyung Min is an average female living by herself in a studio apartment. When she gets to her place after work, she finds her door lock cover left open. Slightly scared of this, she changes her password. However, just before she goes to sleep, she hears someone trying to unlock her door. Startled by this, Kyung Min calls the police. Yet, the cops only show annoyance and no sympathy towards the frightened Kyung Min. A few days later, she finds more hints of someone trying to enter her home, and a murder incident occurs. Sang-Hoon tries to protect himself and his family from the murderer.

During the Qing Invasion of Korea, the king and the court take refuge in a mountain fortress, where they find themselves stranded in the cold and surrounded by the enemy. The king’s dilemma deepens as his people in the fortress start dying from cold and hunger. In 1636, Qing China invades Korea with 150,000 troops. The Korean court flees the capital to take shelter in the Namhan Fortress, located in treacherous mountains outside the city. Meanwhile, Sang Man meets a nurse Jung Yun Soo at the hospital and quickly falls in love. But the ghosts start taking over Sang Man's body.

Television producer Choi Yu Jin hears of the inmate and researches his story for an upcoming news report. Yu Jin then comes across a mysterious woman named Jang Hye Jin who makes doenjang jjigae that brings tears of joy to those who tastes her recipe. As Yu Jin delves further, he learns of Hye Jin's heartbreaking relationship with Kim Hyun Soo.

At the station, he bluntly tells the policemen that he has killed the missing women, and the last girl, Mi Jin, may still be alive. As the police force is obsessed with a random search for corpses, Jeong Ho is the only one who believes Mi Jin is still alive. With only 12 hours left to detain the serial killer without a warrant, Jeong Ho’s hunt begins.

Yeon Gae Somun is the general who killed the penultimate King of Goguryeo, Yeongnyu, in 642. It was a period of tremendous instability, both because of the pressure by Shilla, but also because the political situation in Goguryeo was very confusing. After General Yeon put Yeongnyu's nephew Bojang as his puppet on the throne following his coup d'etat, he tried with little success to calm down Yeon's two sons in trying to gain power, and started repressing Buddhism (the Kingdom's official religion) in favour of Taoism.
