Set against the backdrop of towering views of Mount Jiri, where rangers and other employees of the Jirisan National Park climb through the mysterious and unexplored regions of the mountain, trying to rescue the survivors and lost trekkers.

Seo Yi Kang is the park's top ranger who has vast experience in navigation, making her knowledgeable when it comes to tracking down lost individuals. One day, she becomes the partner of Kang Hyun Jo, a rookie park ranger who is a military academy graduate and an ex-lieutenant who experienced a horrific incident on Mount Jiri which led him to become a ranger.

The drama is centered around a mystery surrounding the mountain's many visitors; those who come to kill, and those who come to end their lives.

Kyung Min is an average female living by herself in a studio apartment. When she gets to her place after work, she finds her door lock cover left open. Slightly scared of this, she changes her password. However, just before she goes to sleep, she hears someone trying to unlock her door. Startled by this, Kyung Min calls the police. Yet, the cops only show annoyance and no sympathy towards the frightened Kyung Min. A few days later, she finds more hints of someone trying to enter her home, and a murder incident occurs. Realizing she’s not safe and that the police are not to be trusted, she starts investigating on her own. Wan Joo is a stage actor and also makes money on the side playing roles for clients. He is then asked to act as a witness in a murder case by the victim's mother. Wan Joo doesn't like the idea, but he needs the money and accepts. He goes to the police station and gives a false testimony. But then he realizes that his false statement brands an innocent young man as the murderer. To get the investigation back on track, Wan Joo seeks out the person who asked him to lie, only to discover that she isn’t who she said she was.
