Seo Hee Soo, a former top actress and the second daughter-in-law of the chaebol group Hyowon. As she puts in all sorts of effort after entering the new and covert world of chaebol families, Seo Hee Soo manages to keep her presence and true colors with confidence in everything she does.

Hyowon group’s first daughter-in-law Jung Seo Hyun, who is a chaebol down to her bones. Born from a traditional and powerfully wealthy family, Jung Seo Hyun was born with elegance, dignity, and intelligence. She is also rational to the point that she can maintain a cold expression no matter the situation.

People who commit cruelty against the weak in order to enrich themselves with more money and power while answering to no one are monsters. A man takes on the corrupt elite or “monsters” whose identities are hidden from the public after he loses his family in a conspiracy that was engineered by very powerful people. Prince Sungwon (Kim Dong-Wook) sees Hwa-Yeon (Jo Yeo-Jeong), the daughter of a wealthy nobleman, for the first time and falls in love, but Hwa-Yeon loves Kwon-Yoo (Kim Min-Jun). Kwon-Yoo saved her father's life and now lives with her family.

Meanwhile, Prince Sungwon's mother (Park Ji-Young) notices her son's infatuation with Hwa-Yeon, but she doesn't think Hwa-Yeon is good enough for her son. Prince Sungson's mother then schemes to have Hwa-Yeon become the concubine to her stepson the King (Jung Chan). Hwa-Yeon and her true love Kwon-Yoo run away when they learn of this plan, but are soon captured by her father's men. In order to save Kwon-Yoo's life, Hwa-Yeon agrees to become the King's Concubine.

Hwa-Yeon gives birth to a son a little bit less than a year later. She will then become a Queen. Several years later, the King becomes sick and dies suddenly. Prince Sungwon becomes the King, but his mother now wields true power. Hwa-Yeon then learns that the King's stepmother had the King killed to put Prince Sungwon on the throne. Hwa-Yeon also realizes that to survive in the royal palace and protect her own son, she will have to change.

King Sungwon is now agonized over his desires for his deceased brother's wife Hwa-Yeon and his mother's domineering ways. One day, Hwa-Yeon sees her true love Kwon-Yoo in the palace and he has now become an Eunuch.

Queen Insu (1437~1504) was the wife of king Deok Jong and a daughter of Hanh Wak, the second state councilor. Since the 2nd year of Sung Jong's reign, she was called Queen Insu. she was evaluated as the best states-woman in Choseon. This drama series depicts the ill-fated relationships of three women and their destinies. During the era of king Dan Jong, the sixth king of the Joseon Dynasty, Prince Soo Yang’s son, Do Won, was married to Han Jung. Unlike other women, Han Jung did not try to hide her ambition for political power. She eventually stood against Queen Jung Hee, her mother-in-law, and set her son on the throne to assume power. But when Deposed Queen Lady Yun appeared, the conflict among the three women reached its climax.

Nearby police stations located in the Seoul districts of Mapo and Seodaemun are usually compared to each other and, consequently, has developed a rivalry. The chief at the Mapo police station is Hwang Jae Sung, who is fearless when it comes to catching criminals and uses any means necessary. To top the Mapo station, the Seodaemun police station appoints its new leader Jung Ui Chan, who graduated from the prestigious police academy. An award for "officer of the year" is given out to the officer able to apprehend the most criminals. The award also comes with a 30 million Won cash prize.

Hwang Jae Sung wants to receive the award as he wants a promotion and did not graduate from the police university. Jung Ui Chan also badly wants to win the award for the prize money involved - his girlfriend is pregnant. For this award, the two rivals compete even more fiercely. A serial rapist case then occurs, causing both stations to work together. The outcome hangs in the air.

"Midas" takes place against the backdrop of corporate M & A (mergers and acquisitions).

Kim Do-Hyun (Jang Hyuk) graduated from the top university in South Korea and has now worked as a fund manager for 3 years. He is handsome and good at sports. Do-Hyun is particularly keen with analyzing the situation as it occurs, but his weakness comes from his poor family background. After working 3 years as a fund manager Do-Hyun is all too aware the power money has. Insecure with his situation, Do-Hyun decides to look for a more prestigious job, with better pay.

Yoo In-Hye's (Kim Hee-Ae) is a president for a hedge fund company. Her grandfather was a banker during the Japanese occupation of South Korea. This means her grandfather was on the side of the Japnese. During the Korea War he made lots of money. After the war her grandfather became a money lender and through this made a fortune. By the 1970's he became the most powerful man in the underground economy. Yoo In-Hye's family is now one of the richest families.

Lee Jung-Yeon (Lee Min-Jung) dated Do-Hyun for 6 years and they will get married soon. Whenever she thinks about Do-Hyun, she can't stop smiling. During her middle and high school years Jung-Yeon was a quiet student with ordinary scores, but Do-Hyun appeared in front of her and they began a relationship. She is certain that Do-Hyun loves her. Jung-Yeon also has one thing that Do-Hyun does not have. That is a family.

Kim Hyun Joon and Jin Sa Woo are best friends who were brought into a top secret organization known as NSS by analyst Choi Seung Hee and Park Sang Hyun. Hyun Joon and Sa Woo both fall in love with Seung Hee when she first profiles them. Their lives are changed forever when Hyun Joon is given a solo mission in Hungary. Hyun Joon later tries to find out who set him up and to figure out what IRIS is and wants.

After aimlessly hopping crime scenes for five years, detective Kang Cheol Jung hands in his resignation in the face of major financial burdens. His chief, however, asks him to stay on until a high school murder case is closed. At first, it looks hopeless, but then Kang finds a fingerprint lead, and later learns that three of the dead student's friends are employed by a single company. He begins to investigate the group and its leader, Lee Won Sul.

10 years after the death of his wife Min-Joo (Kim Ji-Su), Hyun-Woo (Yoo Ji-Tae) still suffers from the loss of his true love. 10 year ago, Min-Joo was in a department store when the building horrifically collapsed. Although Hyun-Woo is now a successful prosecutor, his life is still filled with a void. Hyun-Woo then receives a visit a from Min-Joo's father (Choi Jong-Won). During his visit, Min-Joo's father gives Hyun-Woo her diary. Hyun-Woo reads through her journals and notices that she wrote in detail all of the beautiful places she visited while working as a TV tour program director. Min-Joo planned to revisit these places with Hyun-Woo on their honeymoon. Hyun-Woo decides to visit the places marked in Min-Joo's diary. Along the way, Hyun-Woo keeps encountering a mysterious woman (Uhm Ji-Won) and they soon embark on the trip together.

This drama is about the takeover of the Korean government in 1979 by Chun Doo Hwan.

As a fusion drama on the life of politician Kim Doo Han, the drama tells the life of Kim Doo Han with fact and fiction. Kim Doon Han is the son of the great general Kim Jwah Jin, who fought for Korea against the Japanese during World War II. After his dad dies, Kim Doo Han trains in kung pao and learns to be a leader against the evil Japanese. He finds his own position as boss of the Jong Ro area in Seoul, and vows to protect his own Korean people. Goo Ma Juk, the boss of Seoul, fights against Kim Doo Han in an attempt to hand over the whole Seoul area to the Japanese redevelopment project, pursued by Hyashi. Hyashi himself is a Korean but he ironically lives as a Japanese fighting his own people. Through these many barriers, Kim Doo Han struggles to keep the Korean culture alive, later on becoming a politician after the Korean War.

Young married couple Yoon Hee and Jung Hyun go on a road trip, and along the way they pick up a lone drifter, Em. Em turns out to be a violent and sadistic psychopath who terrorizes the couple at every turn. After capturing Jung Hyun, Em gives him a choice: submit to torture or allow Em to kill Yoon Hee.

In Woo and Tae Hee are two college freshmen who didn't believe in love at first sight but later find themselves wrapped in a deep relationship that would last forever. One day they vow to make their love eternal by sealing it with a bungee jump. Chun Hyang is set on the eve of the 18th century in Korea's Joseon Dynasty. Mong Ryong is the studious 16-year-old son of a Governor who, as the film opens, is about to go away for several years to take exams to become a state official. Before he buckles down, Mong Ryong does a bit of sightseeing with his servant, Pang Ja. One day, he lays eyes on a beautiful girl named Chun Hyang and falls in love with her, despite the differences in their social status (she's the daughter of a gisaeng).

Mong Ryong promises to marry Chun Hyang, as soon as he returns from his exams. She agrees to wait, but, in the meantime, a new Governor has taken control of the province. He hears of Chun Hyang he tries to make the young woman his mistress. She refuses and is badly beaten and given the death sentence.

Lee Song Hi was raised by her father, who is a violinist. After her father's death, she falls in love with her elementary school friend Su An. After 12 years, Song Hi, who is a teacher at kindergarten, meets Su An again. The love of Song Hi was not changed, but Su An became a different person. He becomes a lawyer and has fiancee Yu Jeong, violinist. Song Hi promises to give her father's Stradivarius violin to Su An if he forgets that he is about to be married and dates her for one week.

This film revolves around the life of Choi Shi Hyong, head of the religious sect, Chondogyo, in the later part of the Chosun Kingdom. He is constantly sought and harassed by the authorities. In 1864, Choi Jeh Woo, the reformist and founder of the Chondogyo sect is executed on charges of 'deluding the world and deceiving the people'. His successor, Choi Shi Hyong, begins to receive a ground swell of support from an increasing number of people. He then finds himself the subject of oppression by the court. He is separated from his family and goes to hide in a hermitage in the Taeback Mountains. With the belief that his wife is dead, Choi burns the tablet dedicated to her and flees to an even more remote region of the mountains.
