Tung's fiance Tat Ya passed away in an auto accident. Tung takes a vacation in Hong Kong to keep her mind off of the matter. In Hong Kong, Tung encounters Ka Bo, a man who looks exactly like Tat Ya. Ka Bo originally was a cop, but because of guilt over his girlfriend's suicide he chose an undercover assignment to keep himself numb. After their encounter, Tung's romantic persistence begins to melt Ka Bo's icy heart. Unfortunately, on a mission, Ka Bo falls into his superior officer's trap...

Ding Lik (Andy Lau) is a Shanghai city dweller, who dreams of becoming someone one day. His fortunes take a sharp turn when he accidentally stumbles upon Hui Man Keung (Leslie Cheung), a Taiwanese soldier who is on the run – they team up together and form a brotherly bond, which will be put on a test as one rises to the top of the underworld ladder, and another reveals his true colours…and oh, they also seem to be in love with the same woman, who just happens to be the daughter of Shanghai’s biggest mobster.

In this film, set in ancient times in China, Leslie Cheung plays an agent, Ouyang Feng, hiring famous bounty hunters. His character is portrayed as a fallen swordsman driven by greed and heartless to both friend and foe. He was perpetually being spiteful of love as his own love history was not nearly so beautiful. His bounty-hunters came and went as was narrated by Ouyang Feng himself as based on the Tung Shu predictions. In essence, he was a loner with little love, but the bounty hunters that worked for Ouyang Feng, like Blind Swordsman and another of his best fighters, Hong Qigong, discovered the intangible secret of true love while Ouyang retained his attitude towards his fighters and the precious lessons that they have taught. However, the thread that runs through the entire narrative has clearly the spirit of refusal in the sense that one should reject another before he gets to be rejected in the future. To illustrate, nearly every character in this story has resorted to being selfish and malignant in order to prevent being rejected by others, be it in love or in comradeship as their individual hardships have moulded their attitude turning them into heartless and cold individuals in order to survive in the uncompromising desert where the story is set. It has many moral implications but is less evident since the main character is Ouyang himself and most of the narration would unquestionably be centred on him. 

"Buenos Aries Zero Degree" is a making of documentary for Wong Kar Wai's 1997 film 'Happy Together'. Included are interviews, on-set footage, deleted scenes, and footage of crew members revisiting the locations where Happy Together was filmed.

Not far from Shanghai, in a country twon stands the palatial home of the Pang family. Old Master Pang is an addict who brings up his beautiful daughter Ruyi on opium smoke. Her older brother, Zhengda, is addicted as well, and then paralysed and effectively brain-dead. Zhongliang, Zhengda's brother-in-law, is a successful gigolo in Shanghai who seduces married older women and then blackmails them. When Older Master Pang dies, the clan elders makes Ruyi to take over the role as the head of the household. Zhongliang returns to the Pang family on the death of Old Master Pang, re-encounters Ruyi, and they are secretly attracted to each other. Wanting to seem sophisticated, she succumbs to Zhongliang's attempts to seduce her. But in the emotional maelstrom that follows - for the angry and jealous sister (Zhengda's wife) is also part of the picture...

The story is based on the Pearl River area, the two great heroes -- Yang Qiuping and Pu Si with the hexagonal love affair between them.

In the 1930s, the Pearl River Delta, the local tyrants and bullies ruled the roost. Among the many forces, the force of Dali Pu Si is the most powerful and dominates one side.

However, although this hero is a rough man, he has the pride and deep emotion of righteousness.

Because he possessed this characteristic, coupled with the circumstances of the era at that time, Pu Sisui had various frictions with the courageous college student Yang Qiuping in many ways, and even confronted him directly.

A highly predictable romantic comedy, nonetheless, this oddball premise is a delightful film which stars Aaron Kwok and Kelly Chen in one of their best performances to date. Newspaper columnist Luna Wu (Kelly Chen) stumbles upon a quaint Antique shop and finds a rare Vinyl LP which coincidentally happens to be the record she bought for her first boyfriend. Dismayed by her discovery, she decides to purchase it back from the shop only to discover that it has already been reserved by a local radio DJ Cheung Yung (Aaron Kwok) who specializes in rare and classic Vinyl LPs on his show. All attempts to buy back the LP are rebuked and Wu finds herself being mocked and ridiculed live on-air by Yung. This begins a "war" between the two highly opinionated personalities. Coincidentally, Wu's first boyfriend reappears on the scene hoping to rekindle their relationship. It's only a matter of time that the vendetta between Wu and Yung must come to a conclusion.

"Farewell, My Concubine" is a movie with two parallel, intertwined stories. It is the story of two performers in the Beijing Opera, stage brothers, and the woman who comes between them. At the same time, it attempts to do no less than squeeze the entire political history of China in the twentieth century into a three-hour time-frame.
