Haruno Shotaro and his girlfriend Mimori Arisa get into a car accident. The next moment, when he wakes up, he finds out that he is in the hospital and has a cast on his right foot and left hand. Soon, Haruno Shotaro thinks that something is really strange with the hospital. The hospital has weird patients and the doctors and nurses seem to be hiding something. A mysterious serial murder case also takes place outside the hospital. What is the connection between the hospital and the serial murder case? What is happening in the hospital?

Nagase Ren takes on the role of "I," a university student who moved to Tokyo and is living alone for the first time. I has no friends. I has no girlfriend. The lectures at the university were horribly boring, and I was always looking at Tokyo Tower on the way back from his laborious job. While being attracted to the ruthless, dignified and intelligent "Senior," played by Ikeda Elaiza, whom he meets in the "Hide and Seek Circle" that he secretly falls in love with. Meanwhile, I meets a man called "Black Suit," played by Emoto Tasuku, who is an extremely charismatic and mysterious person. Little did "I" know that the two people he met would bring excitement to his mundane, humdrum existence.

Three mothers have sons with the same name of Yu Ishibashi and they are all 10 years old.

In Kanagawa, Ishibashi Rumiko is 43-years-old and she works as a freelance writer. She is married to Yutaka, who works as a freelance cameraman. They have a 10 year old son Yu.

In Osaka, Ishibashi Kana is a 30-year-old single mother. After her divorce, she has worked part-time jobs and raises her 10-year-old son Yu alone.

In Shizuoka, Ishibashi Asumi is a 36-year-old housewife. She is married to Taichi and they have a 10-year-old son Yu. Her husband works as a salaryman.

These 3 women are happy and busy raising their boys named Yu. Due to some little thing, their lives fall apart. Their anger and anxiety unconsciously head towards their sons Yu.

Tokiko’s mother died 20 years ago and her father Tetsuya is now in his 70's. Her father has a free spirit and is cute. Tokiko is in her mid 40's and still single. She has a strong personality. In their past, Tokiko and Tetsuya did not have a good relationship. It got so bad that they almost ended their relationship, but now they occasionally meet. They go out to eat together and have conversations.

Tokiko decides to publish an essay about her father Tetsuya. To collect information for her essay, she meets Tetsuya and listens to various stories, but it's not just pleasant memories.

Masashi is a photographer. He has his parents and an older brother Yukihiro. For Masashi’s photography school graduation project, he replicates a funny family moment from his childhood as adults. The photo is a huge success, and sparks a series of humorous, staged family photos, starting with his father’s dream of being a firefighter. This success continues into cumulating into a photobook that eventually wins a huge award. Afterwards, Masashi begins to travel throughout Japan taking family portraits, leading him to the prefecture of Iwate. It's after taking several more family portraits that the Great Tohoku Earthquake strikes, and Masashi is compelled to return to Iwate in search of the first family he photographed outside of his own. During his search he encounters Ono Yosuke, who is recovering photographs found in hopes of returning these memories to their families, and Masashi joins him.

Inspired by a true story. Haru in Hiroshima goes back to her hometown in Iwate Prefecture. She comes upon the "Wind's Telephone." Set in a garden, the "Wind's Telephone" is a white phone booth with a black telephone placed in it. The phone booth is not connected to any telephone lines or wires. People come here to talk to those that passed away or are missing. During Haru's journey, she meets various people.

Hisashi Tanaka is a medical student in Hokkaido, Japan. He does volunteer work at a hospital. In his time there, he gets to know the upbeat Yasuaki Kano, who has suffered from muscular dystrophy since he was 12-years-old. Yasuaki Kano is a little eccentric, doing things like running out of the hospital and wanting to eat a banana late at night. Yasuaki Kano develops a crush on a new volunteer at the hospital...who is also Hisashi Tanaka's girlfriend...

Hiroto Miyama begins to work with Atsuhiro Sada. Atsuhiro Sada is a lawyer specializing in civil cases and makes lots of money for the law firm. He doesn't have any interest in criminal cases which can not make money.

Snack bar owner and her regular patron tell 11 different stories about the worst day in the lives of people in their neighborhood of Shimokitazawa, Tokyo. One of those instances involve a Tokyo politician being kidnapped during an S&M session. ~~ 11 screenwriters contribute 11 different stories with different casts under the theme of “The worst day of their life.”

Yohei is a middle school teacher married to Miyoko. For the first time in 25 years, they begin to live by themselves after their son marries and moves out. One day, Yohei finds divorce papers which Miyoko keeps hidden, but he doesn't have the courage to ask her about it and agonizes over the papers. His involvement with students and associate in a cooking class, allows Yohei to recognize the concept of an ideal family. He takes new first steps with Miyoko.

26-year-old Numagoe Sachi works for a Japanese-style bar and earns an annual income of 2.5 million yen. She lives with the goal of buying an apartment. Her routine is to spend her off-days going around to an apartment showroom in town in search of a “lucky property”. A large real estate company’s social gathering is held on board the cruise ship ‘Poseidon’ as it goes around Tokyo Bay. Then the company president Kudo Ryoko (Nakano Yuta) is fatally stabbed. The ship never once stopped and it is impossible for someone to board from the sea. In other words, the murder scene is a “locked room aboard a ship”. The suspects are three employees Takase Minami (Takimoto Miori), Mitsumine Yoko (Nakagoshi Noriko) and Narita Koki (Tonesaku Toshihide) who were together with Kudo. They unanimously complain of being “put to sleep by sleeping pill” and “waking up after the murder occurred”. Detective Hagami Kyoko (Zaizen Naomi) of the First Investigative Division proceeds to investigate the case together with the young detective Kaburagi (Kiriyama Ren). However, a series of tragedies occur right in front of them. Mystery engenders mystery, darkness sucks in darkness. This is the “punishment” meted by Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, to those who do wrong. Internal trouble, baffling human resources and gruesome cases that vanish in the vortex of time. Then the perfect crime of a lifetime. Will Kyoko be able to get to the criminal?

The young, genius scientist Takano Ryuzo (Saito Yusuke) has died in his home. He was a leading authority on induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells together with his older wife Misuzu (Shimizu Misa). The cause of his sudden death is determined to be a heart attack, but insurance agent Tomonaga Masahiko (Hamano Kenta) approaches his wife Kuriko (Ueno Juri), who is also researcher in iPS cells, about Takano’s sudden death that leaves questions unanswered. He had been insured for a large sum of money. Furthermore, the crime scene is a perfect locked room. These increases Masahiko’s suspicions that it was a murder. Kuriko, the research geek, corners the “invisible criminal” with a wealth of knowledge unique to a female scientist and feminine deduction.

Following the death of their mother Kyoko (Nakamura Yuri), three sisters Chiaki (Dan Rei), Haruna (Kimura Midoriko) and Natsui (Watanabe Makiko) gather at the home where they were born and raised for an all-night vigil. Third sister Chiaki recalls memories of the time she was a girl when she sees something that was inserted into the coffin. After the end of the war, their father Hiroshi (Mashima Hidekazu) brought Toru, their youngest brother who is not related by blood, home. Then one day, Toru suddenly disappeared as if he had been spirited away. Who was responsible and where did he go? As the three sisters begin to trace back distant memories, a young man (Nakajima Ayumu) comes. He greets them with the words, “It’s been a long time since I last saw you, sisters …” The sisters piece together their memories and what starts to emerge is their father’s betrayal and mother’s secret. The 40-year-old truth that their mother had kept to herself is about to be revealed.

Satake Junko has been arrested as the main suspect in the serial killing of 5 men. The news is making sensational headlines in variety and talk shows too. Tanabe Junko is a journalist who starts investigating into the murders, with the hope of getting a scoop out of it. She contacted Shinoda Junko, an ex-middle high school classmate of Satake, who claims to be buddies with her. Shinoda invited Tanabe to come up to her office for a chat. Meanwhile, having seen Tanabe on TV, Fukutome Junko, an ex-colleague of hers, called her up and invited her to her home. Tanabe paid her a visit, thinking she has a lead on the case, but instead, Fukutome, now a housewife, just keeps talking about her problem with the hierarchy within her company housing complex.

Then one day, a man calls her, claiming that he may have been an intended victim of Satake. A man who is the son of another woman named Junko... by WOWOW

Hikaru is a mildly incompetent bookstore employee who‘s just a bit too nice for his own good. He‘s also an aspiring manga artist, and distributes mysterious “Debikuro Communication” flyers at night. On Christmas night, a miracle is created by the love Hikaru and three other people in his life - his attentive childhood friend Anna, a world-famous lighting designer named So-yeon whom he meets by coincidence, and a former university classmate named Kitayama who‘s gone on to become a popular manga artist.

"Daijobu 3 Kumi" depicts the interactions between new teacher Shinnosuke Akao, who was born without arms and legs, and the 28 students in his 5th grade class, told from the vantage point of school board member Yusaku Shiraishi (Taichi Kokubun).

In the fictional town of Mahoro on the outskirts of Tokyo is Tada Benriken, a small business which does odd jobs. Its owner is the solemn and level-headed Tada Keisuke (Eita), and his unexpected guest, the easygoing but vague Gyoten Haruhiko (Matsuda Ryuhei), a former junior high school classmate who showed up one day and started to sponge on him. The two of them get on like oil and water, and yet are somehow inseparable. They receive queer, dubious incoming odd job requests which they accept, and what comes into view are the friendship between them as well as the backgrounds of their clients.

Set in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture. The romance of Chiaki Yoshino and Wahei Nagakura continues.

Koizumi’s last lead role in a drama series was in 2001 in TBS’s “Koi wo Nannen Yasundemasu ka.” This time, she will play a 45-year-old single woman who works as a TV drama producer. Starting to feel anxious about her health and her future, she visits an old house in Kamakura where she intends to live with her friend when they reach old age.

Nakai plays a 50-year-old government worker at Kamakura’s city hall whose wife has passed away. With both of them at a crossroads in their lives, their fateful encounter leads to romance.

The plot revolves around a young man named Nagashima Kyohei who has felt emotionally detached due to a traumatic incident in his high school days. However, when he takes a job sorting through the personal belongings of the deceased, he's forced to face the concept of life and death. He eventually develops a relationship with a co-worker named Yuki Kubota, which allows him to open up a little more, but he soon discovers she has a dark past of her own.

"Based on the life of one of Sono's friends, LOVE EXPOSURE is all about Yu, the son of a Catholic priest who loses his religion when his mother dies. Obsessed with sin and confession, Dad criticizes the state of his son's spotless soul, claiming that his confessions are weak and simple and that he must confess real sins. Unable to make anything up, there's nothing for Yu to do but become a sinner, and so the confused kid learns the ninja-tastic martial art of taking up-skirt photographs. Grade-school teacher Shinichi just can't get any respect. His wife treats him like a nuisance, his daughter ignores his every word, his coworkers think he's pitiful. His students regard him as a bore and an imbecile, and mercilessly bully his son, who wants nothing to do with him as a result. The only place Shinichi can find any confidence and self-esteem is alone in his room, where he's secretly sewn together a costume. It's a perfect replica of the suit worn by Zebraman, the hero of a third-rate 1970s superhero show that nobody remembers except Shinichi -- and much to his joy, the new, wheelchair-bound student at his school.

At the same time, strange things are occurring throughout the area. The citizens are nervous, and the military has dispatched agents to uncover - or perhaps cover up -- the source of the danger. Shinichi's urge to sneak out and prowl in his costume, to feel what a hero feels when guarding the night from evil, soon has him dragged into an increasingly bizarre mystery.
