Fumi lives a wholesome life in a small town among dear friends. One day, her car is hit by a meteorite, the odds of which are 100 million to 1. "Such an unlikely event. Maybe something good will happen in my life!" As she becomes excited at that thought, Shinoda Goro, a man who used to be a dentist in Tokyo, moves to the town where she lives. He has experienced a tragedy, having failed to prevent his wife from committing suicide. Fumi happens to see him blowing a tune on a leaf in a park, and is touched by the lonesome figure he cuts. She has also experienced her own unforgettable personal tragedy, having lost her son in an accident. The two of them, each bearing the own emotional scars, awkwardly grow closer to each other, and Fumi's life, which had been on hold until then, slowly starts moving again.

Sawada Kyoka works as a yoga instructor. Her mother died two years ago and she moved in with her father Sawada Rintaro afterwards. Sawada Rintaro works as a Japanese language scholar. His only interest now is in the study of the Japanese language. After his wife died, his life seems to have no energy.

Sawada Kyoka gets into arguments with her father Sawada Rintaro constantly and she is also burdened with taking care of him. Sawada Kyoka wants to have a life where she can focus on herself. Due to everything around her, Sawada Kyoka doesn't care about getting married. But, one day, Sawada Rintaro finds a divorce document among his late wife's belongings. This pushes Sawada Rintaro into wanting to remarry. He also pushes his daughter Sawada Kyoka to find a marriage partner. The father and daughter begin to look for a person to marry. At this time, Sawada Kyoka meets Higashimura Seita, who is single father with a 7-year-old son.

Inogashira Goro usually eats meals alone at cozy restaurants. He continues to visit new restaurants and also returns to some restaurants that he visited before.

The 77th NHK Asadora is Chiritotechin. Location includes Fukui prefecture. This renzoku is about Wada Kiyomi (referred to as Kiyomi-B), a girl brought up in Fukui who moves to Osaka in search of her soul. In Osaka, Kiyomi-B becomes enchanted with rakugo, a Japanese traditional form of comic storytelling, and pursues a career in rakugo. In the summer of 1982, Kiyomi-B and her family move to Obama of Fukui, her father's hometown. Kiyomi-B's grandmother and uncle welcome the family, but Shotaro the grandfather does not allow Masanori to take over the Wakasa lacquer chopsticks making. One day, Kiyomi-B listens to rakugo at Shotaro's factory and becomes fond of it. Shotaro and Kiyomi-B become close through rakugo.

Akutsu Eiji is a newspaper reporter. He is working on unsolved case that took place 30 years ago. The case involved a group of people extorting several companies for money. The group sent cassette tapes to the companies. Akutsu Eiji comes across a mysterious cassette tape. Meanwhile, Sone Toshiya lives in Kyoto and runs a tailor shop. He discovers a cassette tape among his late father's possessions. He plays the cassette tape and hears his voice from his childhood days.

The Mobile Investigative Unit (known as "MIU") of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department attempts to solve cases within 24 hours.

Detective Shima Kazumi is selected as a new member of MIU. He is intelligent, with excellent observation and communication skills. Yet, he does not trust other people. He is unable to find a partner in MIU and is ordered to partner with Police Officer Ibuki Ai, who works at a police substation. Ibuki applied for MIU, but he failed. He is in excellent physical condition, but he lacks knowledge and experience as a detective. Shima learns about Ibuki's background and he becomes more nervous. Finally, Shima has his first meeting with Ibuki.

A high school teacher, struggling to keep up with today's youth and estranged from his only son, receives the news about a terrible accident that left his son in a coma. In Kyoto, Yui Hitotsugi is an extremely competent lawyer at a law firm. A politician, Seizo Tagane, is given immunity after he testifies against rampant corruption. However, their is national outcry when he is not prosecuted. A committee of prosecutors meet and conclude that Seizo Tagane should be prosecuted. Yui Hitotsugi, a lawyer, takes the prosecutor's position on the case. She researches the case with the help of Prosecutor Shinji Tachibana.

Kazu Tokita works at the cafe “Funiculi Funicula,” which is run by her relative Nagare Tokita. A mysterious rumor about the cafe has been spread that if a customer takes a specific seat at the cafe, that customer can travel back to a time of their choice. The specific rules for going into the past are: 1) You can't meet people who haven't visited the cafe 2) If you do something different in the past, it won't change the present. 3) Only one seat in the cafe is able to take someone into the past and if the seat is occupied, you have to wait until the customer leaves. 4) When you go back into the past, you stay in the seat 5) The time you can stay in the past is until the moment the coffee gets cold. 4 miracles take place at the cafe.

Young Public Prosecutor Okino Keiichiro is assigned to the department of Tokyo Public Prosecutors Office which deals with violent cases. He is thrilled to work with Mogami Takeshi whom he admires. One day, an elderly money lender is killed and Matsukura Shigeo is identified as a suspect. He borrowed money from the victim. In his past, Shigeo testified in a female middle school murder case. Takeshi is aware of the heavy grief carried by the deceased girl's family and he tries his best to prove Shigeo's guilt.

When he was just seven-years-old, Suei's mother blew herself up with dynamite in a love-pact suicide with the neighbor's son. Suei worked at a factory in the city after graduating from high school and then quit to go to Tokyo, where he plunged into the world of adult magazines after working as an illustrator and cabaret sign painter.

A story-a-week episodic medical mystery that treats the theme of reality changing when faced with imminent death. Mystery and exhilarating human drama unfold against the backdrop of the “unnatural death institute”, or “UDI”. For example, the body of a young man is brought into the UDI lab one day; his cause of death attributed to ischemic heart disease in which blood fails to be conveyed to the heart. But the victim’s parents are puzzled by the freak nature of their son’s death and turn to medical coroner Mikoto, to find out why. Together with her lab technician partner, Yuko Shoji, and rookie medical recorder, Rokuro, they examine the body for a possible drug poisoning and then learn that another female colleague of the deceased man has just died suddenly.

Although he is not prolific as a poet, he cherishes ordinary happiness every day surrounded by his wife Haruko and their daughter Yuko and son Sho. But a big turning point comes for Kitazawa one day. He develops frequent contact with Akiko, the wife of his good friend Mitamura. Falling in love with her, he abandons his job and leaves his wife Haruko and two children behind. As he starts to live with Akiko who has also left home, he recovers an unprecedented passion and “words”. Each of them start to live the life of the “wasteland”.

In Tokyo in the year 2030, 27-year-old Itakura Kakeru lives in a shared apartment. He is suddenly approached by Ogiwara Misae, his housemate three years his senior, about wanting his help to have a child. Kakeru has never even considered having a family before. But as he searches for an answer for Misae, he comes face to face with his parents, grandparents and younger sister who went their separate ways 15 years ago, and starts to consider what family is. And then, Kakeru gives more than a passing thought to the significance of being connected to someone.

Rintaro Hino is a 41-year-old psychiatrist, working at a university hospital. He is an excellent doctor with keen insight and intuition. He even sees the Chief Cabinet Secretary as a patient. Dr. Rintaro has written books and appears as a guest on TV. Some patients have to wait more than 2 months to see him. If Yoriko finds a man who fills 24 items listed on her ideal husband list, she will marry him. Meanwhile, Takumi Taniguchi (Hiroki Hasegawa) is 35-years-old and unemployed. He did graduate from college, but he spends his days reading books and listening to music. He's not interested in dating or getting married, because he knows he lacks a source of income. He lives with his mother and knows that when she passes away, he can't continue his current lifestyle. Takumi Taniguchi then decides to find a woman who is capable of supporting him financially. Yoriko Yabushita and Takumi Taniguchi, who both think of marriage as a contract, begin to date with the goal of getting married.

31-year-old Iwasaki Urara became a lawyer and did a disservice to client because of her own mistake in her first court case. This traumatized her and she gave up being a lawyer. She is saddled with a debt of 4 million yen in fees to become a lawyer and her days are empty without purpose in life or work. On the other hand, 41-year-old elite lawyer Ebisawa Rinka works for the largest law firm in the industry and is also rumored to be a candidate for a position at the top. She lives in a high-rise apartment, and likes fine wines and branded goods. Her philosophy is “It’s meaningless if I don’t win” and she often wins cases through high-handed methods. However, the methods that Rinka used in a case becomes evident and she is fired from the law firm. In addition, she is ousted from the bar association and no longer able to stand in a courtroom. She has no choice but to build up confidence in the many court cases she won so that she can win back credibility as a lawyer. Making Urara’s acquaintance by chance, Rinka sets eyes on Urara’s legal qualifications. She makes Urara do her bidding in an attempt to somehow regain her own qualifications. Will the two women be able to grasp happiness both as a lawyer and a female?

A series of mishaps occur overnight at a love hotel located in the famous Kabukicho red light district, where people with shady secrets and conspiracies flock to. Toru, a young hotel manager who is understandably distraught when he encounters two unexpected guests. However, if the husband had died later than his wife, it would have been allocated to his parents. The fate of the insurance payout hinges on the order in which the lives were lost in the accident. Ezaki Motomu is no exception, a chef whose skills prove as top class, but whose personality is sometimes problematic to those around him. As the culinary master the most important equation to him is "Ingredient x Cooking method = Taste". No less, no more. He believes that things like relationship, love, and tradition are without substance and therefore completely unnecessary. However, it was not long before Ezaki was one day appointed to be a chief chef at a famous Italian restaurant. The renowned restaurant "Roccabianca" run by owner Tatsumi Saori is a restaurant that is booked with reservations 3 months ahead of time. The 40 available seats are always occupied by regulars, ranging from office workers to culture ambassadors, all making frequent visits. "Roccabianca" is a restaurant that was opened by Saori's father and chief chef Tatsumi Hideo, a culinary charisma who came to be known as the pioneer in Italian food in Japan. Such a restaurant is not to be left unmentioned in the media, of course, and Fuji TV's "Iron Chef Japan" gives Tatsumi an offer to appear on the show. Saori goes to meet the producer of the show at the studio. After their meeting, her restaurant employees are well convinced that Tatsumi belongs on the show. Things take a turn for the worst, however, when Tatsumi suffers a subarachnoid hemorrhage. The operation is a success but there is no telling when he will regain consciousness. Owner Saori continues to operate the restaurant even without her father, under his will. However, empty seats begin to appear. Saori feels that the restaurant is in threat of closing down and decides to take on a new chief chef. She had heard rumors about a Japanese chef who had earned an apprenticeship at the world famous restaurant "Tereza" in Italy, where her father Tatsumi had once worked as well. A high school student's mother passes away leaving her alone with her grief. The girl, Marimo, discovers the name of a father she never knew. Marimo sets off to meet him, but is completely shocked when she finds someone very different from the father she envisioned. Her father, Shinpei, a 38-year-old would-be private detective, is shocked too, and doesn't believe her until he sees the paperwork. With Marimo muttering "The worst father in the world"and Shinpei lamenting the loss of his freedom, these two are about to learn how difficult and rewarding a father/daughter relationship can be.

Tokura Wataru works in Tokyo for a TV shopping program. After getting on the bad side of the show's charismatic presenter, "Antarctic Ice", he gets transferred to a rural call center. Waiting for him is Aoyama Kyoko, nicknamed the "queen of complaints" for her expert ability at handling unsatisfied customers. Unsettled by this call center that seems to have no regard for the rules, he begins working on a plan to return to the main office in Tokyo. It's been a long time since Goro Inogashira didn't have a long distance business trip. This time he goes to Hakata, Fukuoka prefecture. He first visits his friend's store and then goes to a small udon restaurant and meets the owner.

Just after Goro makes a presentation about Bordeaux, one of the sister cities of Fukuoka. Soon after he will find himself surrounded by the Hakata dialect.

A psychological drama that explores the dilemma of whether a person who has had integral parts of them changed, fundamentally remain the same person.

Naruse Junichi hopes to one day become a painter, but he works currently on a factory line. His girlfriend is Megumi and his days are generally happy. On Christmas Eve, Junichi stops by a jewelry store to buy an engagement ring. He then becomes a part of a robbery at the jewelry and he suffers a head injury. Junichi becomes the first successful brain transplant patient in the world.

Junichi is unaware that he received a brain transplant. When he is discharged from the hospital, Junichi's hearing becomes sensitive and he also becomes violent. He does not hold the same feelings for his girlfriend, Megumi. Junichi realizes he is changing and becomes seized with horror. Meanwhile, Megumi hopes Junich becomes his old self. She also seeks to unlock the hidden mystery of Junichi's operation.

Actor Matsushige Yutaka (48) will star in a live-action drama adaptation of Kusumi Masayuki and Taniguchi Jiro's gourmet manga "Kodoku no Gourmet." This will be Matsushige's first time to star in a television series."Kodoku no Gourmet" was originally serialized in Fusosha's "Gekkan SPA!" between 1994 and 1996. It was resumed in 2008 and has been irregularly serialized since then.The story follows a man named Inogashira Goro (played by Matsushige), who privately runs an imported dry goods business. In his spare time between work, he visits various shops and tastes their cuisine. One of the highlights of the manga is that the shops that appear in it are all real shops geared towards a general public. The drama will preserve the spirit of the manga, in which the solitary protagonist speaks very little and the focus is on his character as he eats various dishes.

“Yae no Sakura” will tell the story of Niijima Yae, also known as Yamamoto Yaeko, who was born into the Aizu Domain during the late Edo period. Skilled in gunnery, she helped defend Aizu during the Boshin War, earning her the nickname of the “Bakumatsu Joan of Arc.” After the war, she married educator Joseph Hardy Neesima (Niijima Jo) and became a Christian, and she helped Neesima found Doshisha University.

Shinigami Kun (Satoshi Ono) is an Angel of Death and he is sometimes called Angel of Death Number 413. He informs people of their impending death and then takes them to the spirit world upon their death. He wears a black suite and a bow tie and appears about 30 years in age. He has a helper (Mirei Kiritani) who appears as a crow in the human world. Mami Kobayashi (Riho Takada) is a pretty high school student. Her face was recently burned in a fire, which leads to Mami attempting to jump off the rooftop of the hospital. At that time, Shinigami Kun appears and tells her that she can't die yet. Mami has one friend Fukuko Oonish (Sakurako Ohara) who cares about her. Prior to the accident, Mami was popular with the boys because of her beautiful appearance. Fukuko Oonish was the one who made Mami Kobayashi look even better because of Fukuko Oonish’s ordinary appearance.  Meanwhile, Fukuko Oonish tries to comfort Mami Kobayashi. Then, Shinigami Kun appears in front of Fukuko Oonish and tells her “You have three days to live. Hopefully you can live the 3 days without regret."   

A man (Tatsuya Fujiwara) possesses a special ability to manipulate others with just his eyes. Because of this special ability, he killed his abusive father and was abandoned by his mother. He now lives a lonely life in the dark side of a city.

Meanwhile, Shuichi Tanaka (Takayuki Yamada) doesn't have a family and lives with his friends. Even though he is poor, he has a bright outlook on life.

One day, these two men meet. The man becomes confused, because he can't manipulate Shuichi with his eyes.

In a residential area, a man is murdered by another man, who broke his apartment. Sergeant Kizaki, who is working near the area, hears a gunshot and runs towards the apartment. Detective Omura already is at the scene of the crime.

During their investigation,they get closer to finding out the identity of the killer. Soon, Sergeant Kizaki feels someone is behind the case. A girl then steps out from the shadows. Sergeant Kizaki feels she is linked to the murders somehow.

Set in a small restaurant in the corner of a shopping district. The unusual eatery is only open after midnight, and its standard menu consists of just a single choice. However, the customers still come for the amusing chatter and the proprietor's willingness to cook any dish that they request. The private detective and Takada investigate further and they soon comes across a mysterious woman named Saori (Koyuki), a mob boss named Toshio Kirishima (Toshiyuki Nishida) and four murder cases ...

The basis for the drama is the novel "Kashikogi" by author Cho Chang-in, which has sold 2 million copies in Korea since its publication in 2000. It has already been adapted as a television drama and a stage play in that country. On February 4, Shogakukan is publishing the book in Japan under the title "Good Life" Sorimachi plays the part of Daichi Sawamoto, a newspaper reporter who has always prioritized his work over his family. When his wife suddenly leaves him, he finally notices the love he has been receiving from his son. Just as he decides to answer back, it is discovered that his son has leukemia. Igawa plays Sawamoto's wife, Eikura plays a pediatrics specialist, and Ihara plays a doctor.

Sae is a high school student who is studying hard for her college entrance exams. She lost her father when she was very young and so lives her mother Ryoko in Hokkaido, Japan. Her father Kemimichi once planted a dogwood tree in their garden after he found out he had a terminal disease and could not watch Sae grow up. She hopes to enter a university in Tokyo.

She then meets Kouhei, who attends a specialized high school teaching fishery. He hopes to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather as a fisherman. These two young people meet and have a long distance relationship. Although their love is strong it does not last.

However, when she discovers a shocking fact about Light Bulb Co. she chucks the key away in disgust. Later she realizes that she's been stubborn not telling Noburo he was her dad, but by the time she runs back to meet him he's already gone. Eventually Haname with the support of gas.
