Somewhere at Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture lives a woman and her son. The woman is Mashiro Ao who has lost her husband and bookstore come home from the Tohoku earthquake. It has been 10 years since the disaster and Ao decides to renovate a vacant place and reopen the bookstore which her late husband used to love. Ao then meets an architect, Hayama Eiki who is not good at socialising. However, after much interactions, they begin to get attracted to each other.

Unconventional banker Hanzawa Naoki, has been successful in exposing numerous irregularities at his bank, the Tokyo Chuo Banking Corporation. As a result, he is seconded to the Tokyo Central Securities (TCS) , to head their Corporate Development Department. Soon after, the TCS is involved with a hostile takeover by a large IT company. With the share purchase price expected to surpass a 100 billion yen, it is a deal worth an unprecedented amount to TCS. Unbeknownst to Hanzawa , the bid will incite a competition war with a new bank. Will he be able to overcome the problems plaguing the TSC and inflict twice the pain on those making unreasonable demands?

Set in Abashiri, Hokkaido. Tsukasa (Keiko Kitagawa) got into a severe car accident when she was a high school student. She still suffers from the aftereffects of that accident, with memory impairment and needing to use a wheelchair. Nevertheless, she tries to live life to the fullest. Tsukasa then falls in love with taxi driver Masaki (Ryo Nishikido), who likes playing basketball. Even though they have various difficulties, they try to make a happy family together, but they encounter another serious situation.

One day, Ryota receives a phone call from the hospital. The hospital informs Ryota that his 6-year-old son is not his biological son. After his birth, two babies were switched. Ryota and his wife become torn by the news.The couple must decide whether to take back their biological son or keep the son they have raised for the last 6 years.

Hanzawa Naoki works for Tokyo Chuo Bank as the head of the Loans Division at their Osaka Nishi branch. The overbearing branch manager, Asano, forces him to award an unsecured loan of 500 million yen to Nishi Osaka Steel. On the surface, Nishi Osaka Steel seems like a very reputable company, but in actual fact it is a company in deep trouble. Debt-ridden, the company accountants resort to window-dressing the financial statements in order to hide the truth from the public. Three months after the loan, Nishi Osaka Steel goes bankrupt and the ambitious and power-hungry Asano makes Hanzawa the scapegoat for the 500 million loss. Hanzawa is called to Tokyo to answer to the internal investigations team, where he vehemently denies responsibility for the loss, and swears to recover the 500 million yen. That is the only course of action for Hanzawa, if he wants to survive in the banking industry.

An 18-year-old man named Morio wakes up from a coma 12 years after he was involved in an accident. Although he has the body of an adult, he still has the mind of a child. He’s soon reunited with his childhood best friend Mikihiko and the two reflect back on how much fun and free life was when they were children.
