It is a warring period in feudal Japan. The warlord, Oda Nobunaga, is rapidly vanquishing his foes on a quest to pacify and unify the country under his rule. However, there is one domain that he forbids to lay a hand on, that of the Iga ninja, whom even the great Nobunaga fears most. Shimoyama Heibe, whose brother had been killed by Mumon also seeks revenge on the 12 Iga ninja core, including Momoji Sandayu and Shimoyama Kai. Amid various colliding interests and schemes, ultimately, a major bloody showdown is coming between Oda’s army and the Iga ninja.

Ohno plays the role of Tarui Shotaro, an ordinary guy who dreamed of becoming a hero when he was a child, but now gets by as a part-time worker. The unexpected story unfolds when one day, the daughter of a yakuza boss asks him to plan a make-believe kidnapping. Sato Ryuta plays Shotaro’s co-worker who helps him with the kidnapping. Kanjiya Shihori plays Satsuki, the eldest daughter of the Hanazono yakuza clan, while Narimiya Hiroki plays Satsuki’s college senpai who joined the Hanazono clan after graduation. Takahashi Katsumi plays the head of a rival organization who has fallen in love with Satsuki. Kitaoji Kinya plays Satsuki’s father and the head of the Hanazono clan.

Shinigami Kun (Satoshi Ono) is an Angel of Death and he is sometimes called Angel of Death Number 413. He informs people of their impending death and then takes them to the spirit world upon their death. He wears a black suite and a bow tie and appears about 30 years in age. He has a helper (Mirei Kiritani) who appears as a crow in the human world. Mami Kobayashi (Riho Takada) is a pretty high school student. Her face was recently burned in a fire, which leads to Mami attempting to jump off the rooftop of the hospital. At that time, Shinigami Kun appears and tells her that she can't die yet. Mami has one friend Fukuko Oonish (Sakurako Ohara) who cares about her. Prior to the accident, Mami was popular with the boys because of her beautiful appearance. Fukuko Oonish was the one who made Mami Kobayashi look even better because of Fukuko Oonish’s ordinary appearance.  Meanwhile, Fukuko Oonish tries to comfort Mami Kobayashi. Then, Shinigami Kun appears in front of Fukuko Oonish and tells her “You have three days to live. Hopefully you can live the 3 days without regret."
