Set between two worlds, the real world in which we live in, and another world where dragons live. Nagi is a fantasy loving high-school girl who lives in the real world. She has a special ability that allows her to visualize colors whenever she hears sounds, and doesn't feel she fits in with her surroundings. From some point, she starts to be troubled by repeated daydreams of flying in the sky.

Meanwhile Tyme lives in the alternate world of Upananta, where a strange phenomenon is occurring in which many flying islands are falling from the sky. Akuta Sky Group, led by the hero Akuta, have been trying to save people from the dangers of the world collapsing. Tyme admires Akuta, and decides to join his group as a dragon rider, but he isn't happy as he isn't able to hear the voices of the dragons and ends up being considered a "dropout".

One day, the two worlds intersect, and Nagi meets Time from Upananta.

Though they both come from different worlds, they find similarities in the fact they are different from those around them.

Kujo Rina is a chemistry teacher and the homeroom teacher for the 3rd grade D class at Horai High School. She doesn't have a bond with her students. On the school's graduation day, Kujo Rina is pushed from the 4th floor and falls down. She is able to glimpse a school uniform sleeve on the person that pushed her. At that time, she wonders why she was pushed and that she does not want to die.

The next moment, Kujo Rina is standing in front of her students, and she has travelled back in time to one year earlier. She knows that one of the 30 students in front of her will try to kill her in a year. To find the truth about what will happen and to avoid her death, she approaches her students with all her heart. Meanwhile, Ugumori Kanau is one of Kujo Rina’s students in the 3rd grade D class. She is a model student, but she experiences a miserable school life due to her classmates targeting her.

Set two years after the drama series "Nemesis," Kazama Naoki works for Nemesis Detective Agency and is regarded as a brilliant detective. He is able to solve the most difficult of cases, but he has a secret. His secret is that he is actually a lousy detective and he relies on the genius skills of his assistant Mikami Anna to solve cases. Their partnership continues.

Yuko Hayashi is a successful career woman. Her husband is an unpopular novelist and he takes care of their home. Their son is a high school student. Yuko Hayashi's family seems to run smoothly, but she worries about her son.

Mari Kanbara lives with her husband and they have 3 children (1 son and 2 daughters). Her son attends the same prestigious high school as the sons of An Ishiwatari and Yuko Hayashi and her husband works at a law firm. Mari Kanbara appears to have an enviable life, but her husband is having an affair. Mari Kanbara is unable to even blame him for his infidelity.
