A story that follows five grannies who live on the same street. A scam brings them together and they gradually become friends as they experience joys and sorrows together while trying to find new meaning in this journey called life. Five ladies with different backgrounds and personalities lead their own lives as aging adults. Mei Yi (Wang Fuli) runs a cafe while still suffering from the pain of her son's death. The arrival of the new waitress, Xiao Xue's, completely shakes up her life. Teacher Song scurries about day and night with a full schedule that she's set for herself. From time to time, she becomes a source of trouble for her daughter. Liu Da Fu is the new arrival who intends to make changes in her son's life yet ends up making him miserable. Hong Jie is the resident local. She is not lacking in anything yet her biggest worry remains to be her children. Ai Lin is considered a beauty in their community, yet she knows the feeling of loneliness all too well. The five grannies run into each other because of a 'health lecture' and in trying to battle wits and will against their scammers, they become old friends.

Jiang Bao Ning, the princess of Jianan County, grows up in the palace since childhood. She remains carefree despite knowing that there is no freedom within the palace walls and does not want to be used as a puppet.

Thus, relying on her own ingenuity, she resists the fate of becoming a tool in the inner palace fighting.

Li Qian, a guard of the Imperial Army, wants to understand the truth behind some events many years ago. He works hard to seek a higher position in the palace, just to get relevant clues.

A career woman over the age of 30 stands up against unfair practices at the workplace. She is caught between two men - her trusted assistant and her boss who is an eligible bachelor. Always one to choose reason over emotion, will Shen Ruo Xin who is considered a 'leftover woman' be brave enough to pursue a romance with a younger man or will she marry the man that society dictates?

As a woman in a large male-dominated firm, Shen Ruo Xin has been having trouble securing a promotion. She has been vying for the position of director of the legal department for a year to no avail due to the company's vice president making things difficult for her. After being assigned a case, Shen Ruo Xin works with her young assistant Qi Xiao and finds evidence that Jin Yuan Hao who's been mooching off his lover has cheated on her too. Just as Shen Ruo Xin has persuaded Jin Yuan Hao to sign a settlement peacefully, someone had taken photos of them together and uploaded it to the internet.

As it turns out, Shen Ruo Xin's boyfriend is the mastermind behind the ordeal because he wants Shen Ruo Xin to lose her job and marry him. Shen Ruo Xin refuses her boyfriend's wedding proposal and resolutely breaks up with him. However, the photo incident has already affected her career and she is transferred to the administration department. Qi Xiao who is sensitive and loyal to Shen Ruo Xin follows her despite the demotion.

Meanwhile, Xu Ming Jie who suddenly became the company VP starts to pursue Shen Ruo Xin. Qi Xiao gets mad over the fact that Xu Ming Jie's ex has been purposely provoking Shen Ruo Xin. When it comes to money, family and career, Shen Ruo Xin whose heart has opened up to Qi Xiao finally realizes that love is never going to be an equivalent exchange because it's simply about two people with a mutual attraction and understanding.

It tells the love story between Psychiatrist Yan Shu Ren and Psychologist Sun Shu. While studying for his PhD, Yan Shu Ren gets to know his junior schoolmate Sun Shu and the two fall in love. But when crises arise in both parties’ families, Shu Ren drops out of school without telling Sun Shu, and Sun Shu goes to Japan to study. Five years later, both are called by their former teacher to come work at Si Kang Hospital and the two former lovers meet again. Shu Ren wants to reconcile his relationship with Sun Shu, but Sun Shu rejects him and treats him coldly. Only when Sun Shu’s mother falls ill, Sun Shu warms up to him again. Later, Shu Ren finds out that his mother died in a car accident eight years ago and starts to blame himself and questions his profession. Sun Shu helps him through these difficult times.

Gao Xing is a young lady often mistaken for a boy. Her dad left her a coffee diary after he passed ten years ago and she has always dreamed of following in his footsteps. Almost twenty years later, the already bald Xu has long forgotten his dreams of becoming an artist, but he can never forget Yang even though he enjoys a comfortable life with his loving wife Cai Bo (Zhao Wei), the only major problem between them being the repeated failure conceiving a child. During a vacation in Hong Kong with Cai's overbearing family, Xu plans to secretly visit Yang, but Cai Bo's goofy young brother Cai Lala (Bao Bei'er) — always carrying a video camera in hand for his documentary project — tags along like his unwelcome shadow to spoil the rendezvous. Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, Wong Jing is filming another riotous gangster movie, while 2 police officers (Sam Lee and Eric Kot) investigate a murder. One of them attempts to topple the case and threatens Xu Lai's near and dear.

A strong-willed disciplinarian mother (tiger mother) faces mountainous pressure raising her daughter, while her husband (cat father) has an opposite view of how to raise their daughter. Qian Qian is the school-aged daughter of Bi Shen Nan and Luo Su, and the princess of the family. After learning from others that the educational foundation starts in elementary school and witnessing first hand the difficult process of entering a great school, Bi Shen Nan finally realized that they have spoiled their daughter for way too long. Determined to catch her daughter up with all the other kids, she has quickly grown into the role of a tiger mom while her husband maintains that the happiness of Qian Qian is the most important, even if that means being academically behind. Mixed in the bag are two sets of opinionated grandparents and the reappearance of Luo Su’s gentle ex-girlfriend.

Built on the melancholy theme “disappear with the wind,” the film will center around the trials and tribulations of youths as they struggle to find their way in this changing world. Assassinator Jing Ke is a 2004 Chinese television series based on a semi-fictional story of the assassin Jing Ke, who, in 227 BC, attempted to kill Ying Zheng, the king of Qin. Directed by Raymond Lee, the series starred Liu Ye as the titular protagonist, with Peter Ho, Zheng Jiayu, Zhang Tielin, Shao Bing and Zhai Ying playing supporting roles.
