The story follows Fushiki, a newbie employee from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare who is assigned to the department to work alongside Yukimura Kai, an 88-year-old vampire detective who still looks 18 due to his immortality. Together, they will investigate a series of murders by the “Ram Killer” that have been occurring every Christmas in the year of the Ram over a period of 70 years.

Although Chiyo always thought of Ichika as a lunch buddy, she agreed to go out with him, and the two start a "trial" romance to see where their relationship goes.

Takarada Takara works for a company. On a rainy day, he walks helplessly without an umbrella. Somehow, he watches a stage play performed by theatrical troupe Eiyu. Takarada Takara becomes touched by Kamoshima Yujin's performance. Afterwards, Takarada Takara decides to quit his job and become an actor. He also joins theatrical troupe Eiyu.

Kamoshima Yujin begins to teach Takarada Takara. He realizes that Takarada Takara has talent as an actor and he hopes he becomes successful. At the same time, Kamoshima Yujin also wants become successful as an actor.

With Kamoshima Yujin’s support, Takarada Takara develops as an actor and becomes popular. This changes the relationship between Takarada Takara and Kamoshima Yujin.

Okuzono Akira suddenly loses her husband. She goes to her late husband’s hometown of Kagoshima with her 9-year-old step son Shunya. There, she meets her father-in-law Setsuo. Yong Gil is Korean who moved to Japan and settled down in a local city in the Kansai region. He and his wife run a small Yakiniku restaurant called 'Yakiniku Dragon'. He has three daughters, oldest daughter Jung Hwa, middle daughter Yi Hwa, and youngest daughter Mi Hwa. Yong Gil lives cheerfully and positively all the time although he was deprived of his left arm and his hometown after the war. The shop is always crowded with regular customers such as Tetsuo, who is Jung Hwa's childhood friend. The sisters are bound together by strong ties, but the times soon began to move on...

Based on the stage play “Yakiniku Doragon” which was written and directed by Wishing Chong. The stage play was first performed in 2008.

Saigo Takamori, the hero of the Meiji Restoration, was born to a poor, low-ranking samurai family in the Satsuma domain (present day Kagoshima Prefecture). His simple honesty caught the attention of its charismatic feudal lord of Satsuma, Shimazu Nariakira. Nariakira’s assertion that the love of people is what will enrich and strengthen the nation captivated Saigo who took on Nariakira’s secret mission and eventually became a key person for Satsuma. Not a portrait of him survives today and much of his life is a mystery. He is a man who was twice exiled and thrice married. He overthrew the Tokugawa Shogunate with exceptional bravery and action. Although he accomplished the restoration, he lost his life in a fight with the new Meiji government.

“Love Stories From Fukuoka” is a series of real-life stories submitted by viewers in Fukuoka about their personal experiences with love, loss and longing. All the stories are based in Fukuoka, the capital city of the Fukuoka Prefecture on Kyushu Island. The stories feature many actors, celebrities and athletes who have ties to Fukuoka, including a few members of the popular Japanese girl group AKB48.

In "Sensei and I", several years after graduating from high school, Rui meets her teacher from who was known as a "blunt demon" and they fall in love.

15 years have passed since Haibara Tatsuyuki (Nakai Masahiro) started working for the finance company, Teikoku Financing. The company president, Kaneko Takatoshi, passed away five years earlier and now Takayama Kazuo (Watabiki Katsuhiko) is in charge of Teikoku Financing. Haibara goes around with his senior, Kuwata Sumio (Kobayashi Kaoru), to collect debts every day. The law regarding debt collection has changed and the regulations for moneylenders have been strengthened. Many finance companies have gone bankrupt or ceased business. During this period, Teikoku Finance practically buys unsettled debts. One day, Kuwata and Haibara visit Magonote Construction’s president, Magonote Kenzo (Saito Yosuke), one of the debts bought over, in order to collect his debt. Not only the promissory note but also land mortgage which has been pledged as collateral are Teikoku Financing’s. Magonote and his daughter, Yoko (Renbutsu Misako), insist that the land cannot be handed over when pressed by the two to immediately pay back the debt by selling the land. That land is a place with memories of Magonote’s late wife and Yoko’s mother. Despite a promise to settle the debt one week later, father and daughter have no means to do so. Dotsubo Financing’s advertisement catches the attention of Yoko, and she knocks on its door. Led by company president Dotsubo Kyoichi (Yusuke Santamaria), Dotsubo Financing inspires Yoko with something backhand in order to settle the debt. Dotsubo Financing’s ploy checks Teikoku Financing’s in its course, but in the end, Yoko is pushed further to the edge. Unable to forsake Yoko who has no way out, Haibara does not even listen to the voices of those around him who tell him to stop, and works on repaying her debt.

This 1992 Japanese film tells the story of a scientist who sets out to create the new "super Adam and Eve", humans who cannot be controlled by their emotions. Of course, the end result it not exactly what the good doctor expects.

Kusakabe Gengo, a patrol officer of the Tsukigase domain in Western Japan, gets a visit from his son-in-law, Tsuda Iori. Tsuda probes if it is true that Gengo and the chief retainer, Matsuura Shogen, are truly childhood friends. Gengo and Shogen were childhood friends and went to the same kendo training school. 40 years ago, the two men were bound by such a firm friendship that they avenged Shogen’s parents together. However, they had differing opinions regarding an uprising raised by a mutual friend, Juzo, and fell out 20 years earlier. Gengo is handed a command from the lord of the domain to assassinate Shogen. Shogen, who quelled the uprising with ruthless methods, rose to become the chief retainer, but the rumours are that he has incurred displeasure because he is hindering the rise of the lord of the domain. However, Shogen is known to the public as an artist so it would look bad if he were publicly executed. Gengo, who has been ordered to handle it as a fight due to a personal grudge, searches for the place for Shogen to die. He decides to visit Shogen for the first time in 20 years. When the paths of the two men cross again as they approach old age, fate starts moving again.

Asumi Kamogawa (Nanami Sakuraba) has always held a strong interest in outer space, influenced by her father Tomoyuki Kamogawa (Masahiro Takashima). When Asumi was a young child, Tomoyuki designed Japan's first manned rocket named "The Lion." Unfortunately, the rocket crashed into their very own hometown, killing many of the residents. Her father felt responsible the mishap and has carried a deep sense of guilt ever since. Once Asumi graduates from middle school she decides to enter the Tokyo Space Academy, a high school for aspiring astronauts. Her father doesn't want Asumi following his path, but going against his will Asumi nevertheless enters the Tokyo Space Academy.

Ruka has yet to mature into a full-fledged vampire. His canines have yet to fully develop, which means he still hasn't tasted human blood — or, at least, human blood that he's drawn himself. The protagonist is a girl named ‘Konno Mizuki’ (Sakuraba), a typical senior high school girl who is good at studying, knows much about fashion and is good at reading the situation. She is also fortunate to belong to the cool clique of her class called the “Sakura Group”.One day the class is on their way to a field trip, when suddenly their bus falls of a cliff in the mountains. Only five girls survive the accident. They are injured, lost in the mountains and no one is coming for their rescue anytime soon. Pushed to their limits, the girls are forced to switch into survival mode and to lay bare their innermost feelings.

Tezuka Haru has been desperately hunting for a job, but nothing seems to come about. Without thinking about the consequences, she takes and barely passes the necessary exam to enter the world of aviation. From then on, she begins to walk the path towards becoming a female pilot. Nationwide, there are now people called Community Social Workers (CSW), and their jobs are to attend to the poor and needy. One such person is Satomi Ryo, and she works at the Shitamachi area's Council of Welfare. The people that she meets in her busy working life are people afflicted with juvenile dementia, those who have shunned society and locked themselves up in their rooms, the homeless... generally people who are in despair over life and the fate dealt to them. Ryo herself had been down the lonely road before, and as a way to pull herself out of her depression, she decided to work as a CSW, in order to help others like her. She strongly believes that one can always start all over again, and it is her belief that helps her to move forward in life.

When bento shop owner Hikaru Oshiro learns that a group of high school students have no place to practice music he takes it upon himself to build a studio beneath his store. The only stipulations he placed upon the students were that they be respectful to others, do well in school, and empathetic towards others.
