Momone Nagaura lives with her parents, grandfather and younger sister on an island in Kesennuma Bay, Miyagi Prefecture. In the spring of 2014, Momone Nagaura graduates from high school and moves to the city of Tome. She fails to enter a university. While she tries to figure out what to do with her life, she begins to work as an apprentice of a forest guide. A turning point in her life occurs. A popular weather forecaster from Tokyo arrives. Momone Nagaura walks on a mountain with the weather forecaster. She hears from the weather forecaster that the weather forecaster can predict the future. Momone Nagaura becomes touched by that comment and decides to become a weather forecaster. She studies hard for the exam to become a weather forecaster. With the help of the people around her in Tome, she finally passes the exam. Momone Nagaura moves to Tokyo and begins to work at a private weather forecasting company. Working there, she grows up as a weather forecaster. Several years later, in 2019, a major typhoon approaches Japan. To help her hometown, she heads to Kesennuma Bay.

Kakei Shiro is a 45 year old lawyer who works at a small law firm. He is a good cook and a meticulous and thrifty person who keeps the monthly food budget to 25,000 yen. Shiro’s daily routine is to leave work on time and head to a discount supermarket nearby. His partner Yabuki Kenji is the affable hairdresser in his 40s. The two of them share a two-bedroom apartment and the finer points of two men living together comes up at the dining table every day. Although the two of them have been in a relationship for three years and Shiro's parents know he is gay, Shiro never shares the fact that he is gay or Kenji is his partner to anyone.

Kakei Shiro is a 45-year-old attorney who works for a small law firm and lives with his lover, Yabuki Kenji, a hairdresser.

Kakei Shiro's regular routine is that after work, he buys groceries at a mart, which has discounted prices and does not go over a certain budget. Afterwards, he goes home and makes dinner, which usually includes rice, soup and three side dishes. When dinner is about ready, Yabuki Kenji comes home from work. While they eat, the two men talk about pretty much everything.

One day, when Kakei Shiro and Yabuki Kenji are out in public, Kenji's customer comes up to them and asks, "Is he your boyfriend who is a lawyer?" Kakei Shiro is embarrassed. Unlike Kenji, who is open about his sexual orientation, Shiro does not tell people at his law firm that he is gay.

The series is full of love, friendship, humor, everyday worries and the crumbs of life. Everything in the background is accompanied by delicious Japanese dishes and recipes for their preparation.

Two historical incidents that deepened the friendship between Japan and Turkey.

Story 1- In the night of September 16, 1890, the Turkish frigate Ertugrul is caught up in a typhoon and sinks off the coast of Kushimoto, Japan. With more than 500 crew members dead, it's the largest sea accident in history at that time. An extraordinary rescue effort is taken by the local residents to save the Turkish sailors.

Story 2 - In 1985, during the Iran-Iraq War, Iraq announces an indiscriminate attack over Iranian air space. More than 300 Japanese nationals are stuck in Tehran, Iran. Turkey offers to evacuate the Japanese by sending a Turkish airplane. For the remaining Turks who are still in Tehran, this means that they won't be able to board their own country's evacuation flight.

Yoshiko Aoi is a budding researcher in ethology, the study of animal behavior. "Men=male" are born unfaithful. But through her studies, Yoshiko learns it's not the males' fault. Rather, it's the fault of their genes, who work to replicate themselves by controlling the males' body. This is the sad, but commonly accepted theory of biology. What's even sadder is that Yoshiko's nickname is "Gene," because her name written in Chinese characters can also be read as "Jinko/Geneko." The love story follows Yoshiko's struggles with research and romance.

The drama portrays how those who fight for their dreams face their destinies in the turbulent age.

A meek insurance adjuster named Wakatusuki (Masaaki Uchino) at the Showa Life Insurance company in Kanazawa, receives a phone call from a customer (Shinobu Ootake) who asks whether his company pays on a life insurance policy if the cause of death is suicide. Wakatusuki is then called to the home of a client named Shigenori. When he looks around Shigenori's home, he discovers a body hanging from the ceiling in an apparent suicide. The body belongs Shigenori's teenage son. Furthermore, Wakatusuki discovers that Shigenori has taken out an insurance policy on his wife ... who happens to be the person that called him asking about the payout related to suicides.

Following in the same theme of dangerous discoveries, the "Pandora's box" for the new series will be a medical treatment invented to prevent suicides. Love Generation, as the title suggests, revolves around the relationship of the two leading protagonists, Katagiri Teppei and Uesugi Riko, who begin their relationship as squabbling colleagues before falling in love. Katagiri Teppei is a talented designer and very popular among women. Unfortunately, Teppei, who despises conformity, is forced to move to the sales department for his egocentric behavior. Throughout the series, he is forced to adapt to the new working environment, which includes cutting his precious locks of hair to create a neater and more professional image. As he struggles to adapt, he meets Uesugi Riko. While she does not like him at first, she eventually falls for him. However, Teppei runs into his high school sweetheart Mizuhara Sanae, and discovers that his ex-girlfriend is now engaged to his brother Soichiro. Fortunately, Riko is there to console him, and this eventually blooms into a romance. Not long after, however, Sanae realizes she still has feelings for Teppei, and thus creates a love triangle. To make the matter even more complicated, Soichiro starts to have an affair with his past girlfriend.

The story focuses on 26-year-old Rika (Ueto), a single editor who is unskilled in love. The story starts when a man (Uchino) appears before her, telling her that he is her husband from 10 years in the future. He informs her that she will meet the young version of himself in a few days, but begs her not to marry him.

The drama is based on the best-selling same-titled novel by Shigematsu Kiyoshi. It tells the story of how a widower brought up his only son, after the death of his beloved wife. Ichikawa Yasuo, or Yasu as he is known, is a baka, with no paper qualifications to his name. However, like all normal parents, he dotes on his only son, Akira. Having grown up without his parents around, Yasu himself knows next to nothing of what parenting is about. With his wife, Misako, by his side, he had spent many happy days together with his little family.

However, when Akira was 3 years old, Misako passed away suddenly from an accident. Heart-broken, and filled with regrets, Yasu pulled himself together, in order to care for his little son. Together with the help of his friends, Yasu overcame it all, and Akira grew up to be a bright and successful young man.

A few weeks after a gigantic earthquake strikes Tokyo, the temperature of the Pacific Ocean suddenly increases and causes the largest typhoon ever seen in Japan to head towards Tokyo with devastating force. The tidal wave generated by the typhoon covers the coastal city area with water. The Tokyo Fire Department dispatches its elite rescue unit, Hyper Rescue, and their sonar picks up a signal from underwater. Beneath the ground, in one devastated subway station, there is someone sending out a code which is known to rescuers only: 252 252 "We have survivors!" A rescue party tries to save the survivors at the risk of their own lives. In the face of death, a daring rescue operation is to be carried out.
