Tan Jing is a single mother whose son has natural heart disease. In order to save up for her son's surgery, she leads a thrifty life. However, she has no complaints and lives life positively, raising her son Sun Ping to be obedient and sensible.

Nie Yu Sheng is a heart surgeon who is working on funding a surgery project that helps children with heart disease. He picks Sun Ping as his first patient. During the treatment, he finds out that Sun Ping's mother is Yan Jing, his lover seven years ago. He is attracted by Tan Jing's calm and determined aura, and Sun Ping's adorableness and sensibility. Time allows both of of them to mature. Eventually, Sun Ping's recovers from his illness and Tan Jing develops her own career; while Nie Yu Sheng's project is also successfully established. Tan Jing and Nie Yu Sheng finally achieve happiness together.

Set during the Ming Dynasty, the story revolves around the romance between General Xu Lingyi and the concubine's daughter Shiyiniang that starts from an arranged marriage. Despite being born with a low status, Luo Shiyiniang is extremely assertive and believes that a woman's vision should not be limited to the household. She hopes to rely on her embroidery skills as a ticket to freedom. However, the once esteemed Luo family is in a state of decline. Hoping to save the clan through a marriage alliance, Shiyiniang is selected to become the wife of Yongping Duke and great general Xu Lingyi. Things were not easy for Shiyiniang due to the Xu family's biases towards her. Nonetheless, she manages to win over their trust through her optimism and sincerity. Xu Lingyi also becomes attracted to Shiyiniang's various beautiful qualities such that husband and wife manage to find love after marriage.

Through Xu Lingyi's support, Shiyiniang opens Xian Ling Pavillion to have her own embroidery workshop. Meanwhile, Xu Lingyi experiences many setbacks as he tries to protect his homeland and improve the livelihood of the people by supporting the lifting of a maritime ban. As they face a crisis that could spell the end for the Xu family, Xu Lingyi and Shiyiniang continue to support each other through thick and thin.

The police have just accidentally shot the gangster boss, Shun, in the head. Chief Inspector Chen reluctantly brings Shun to the Emergency Room at Victoria Hospital, but he's more concerned with covering up his team member's mistake. As Dr. Tong tries to convince Shun to have the surgery to remove the bullet lodged in his brain, Inspector Chen is more interested in interrogating Shun about his fellow gang members.

Tong and Chen both take their work seriously, but Chen is so fed up with his job that he couldn't care less if he follows the letter of the law. Tong accordingly holds Chen in contempt for his aggressive disinterest in his victim's well-being and rebuffs him every time he tries to prevent her from doing her job.

Shun, the clever criminal, provokes both of his captors, because as long as he is handcuffed to a hospital gurney, he has control over both Tong and Chen. He knows the etiquette and protocol that govern Tong's job and manipulates her lack of prior knowledge. Shun knows that his best opportunity for escape is at the hospital. He is trying to delay as much as possible, in order to give a chance for his gang to come rescue him. Chen realizes what game Shun is playing, but feigns ignorance, because he wants a chance to capture the entire gang. Tension builds between the three very different personalities, as the night progresses.

Can they solve the crime of the century and still find time to collect a good bounty?

Rose Martial World is a Chinese-Hong Kong wuxia-romance television series produced by Yu Zheng and directed by Peter Yuen and Wang Shaojie, starring cast members from mainland China and Hong Kong. The Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils is an upcoming Chinese television series adapted from Louis Cha's novel Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils. It is produced by the companies Zhejiang Hua Ce Media and Dong Yang Da Qian Media, and directed by Hong Kong television series director Lai Shui-ching. Filming started on 10 November 2012 and the series is expected to be released in 2013.

Tian Long Ba Bu is an adaption of a Jin Yong novel of the same name. The epic centers around the Beggar Leader Qiao Feng, the Dali Prince Duan Yu and the Shaolin Monk Xu Zhu. Each of their stories are interweaved throughout the show and finally clash and join at the climax of the story.
