Kim Sun Ja was born and raised in Busan, Korea in the early 20th century, while Korea was under Japanese rule. She falls in love with a man named Koh Han Su. Meanwhile, a church priest named Baek Isak comes to stay at the lodge run by Kim Sun Ja's mother. When he learns of Kim Sun Ja's situation, he tries to give her advice, but, when he experiences her unwavering conviction, he offers to marry her. Kim Sun Ja soon moves to Japan and faces difficult times as a Korean immigrant living in a unfamiliar land.

In New York in 1989, Baek Solomon is determined to succeed in the corporate world. A company wants to build a new hotel in Tokyo, but a Korean woman refuses to sell her land where the hotel is to be built. Baek Solomon offers to his bosses to travel to Tokyo and persuade the woman to sell her land to the hotel group. He also goes to see his family there.

A washed-up boxer, Jo Ha, has lived his life relying on nothing but his physical strength. His champion glory lasted only a moment, and now pride is all Jo Ha has. He runs into his mom who left him when he was little and comes to live with her and Jin Tae, the younger brother who always seems awkward except for when he plays the piano. The autistic savant, Jin Tae, shows brilliance in playing the piano and video games and cooking ramen. She lives a hard but peaceful life with her neighbors like her transgender landlady Ti Na, poor figurine artist Do Hoon, the half Korean half Filipino boy who she met at a clinic and thoughtlessly brought home Min Ho and others. One day she learns that Song, one of her regular clients, had a stroke and when she visits him he begs her to kill him. Struggling between guilt and compassion, she finally decides to help him.

And this is how the story begins. While following the request of customers who want to stop living a hard life, So Young falls into deeper chaos.

PD Baek Seung Chan decided to work at the entertainment division of KBS television network because of his secret crush on a KBS employee. Salut D’Amour is a warm, heartfelt movie that tells the story of a romantic relationship between an elderly couple, Sung Chil and Geum Nim.   The drama will center around Ma Yeo Jin (Ko Hyun Jung), a elementary teacher of the 6th grade and her students Shim Ha Na (Kim Hyang Gi), Oh Dong Goo (Chun Bo Geun) and Kim Seo Hyun (Kim Sae Ron) who are reveling against her. Teacher Ma is very realistic and to her elementary students, she shows how tough it is to live the world. Instead of being a shield for her students, she herself becomes the authority. She often pushes her students to the edge by blackmailing and mischief-making. Whole class of 6-3 (class 3 of the sixth grade) is rebelling against teacher Ma's educational attitude which is incomprehensible. Sometimes they would betray each other, sometimes they help each other and gradually they realize secret of the reality and make on their own views of the world. This kind of setting of the drama is totally new compared to the previous drama where the teachers were always the protectors of their students. Teacher Ma is trying to be the high wall for the students and her students are trying not to be defeated and overcome the highness of the wall. And such strong plot will touch the hearts of the viewers with massive emotions. E writes this very idea into his short film, a story about a director who attempts to "remote direct" his film set in order to go on a date. E then rounds up an impressive star-studded cast, but secretly flies out to Hollywood, Los Angeles in order to put his plan to action. On the morning of the first day of shoot, E J-yong greets his cast and crew through a monitor. Without the director on set, the film goes spiraling into chaos.

Cha Yoon Hee is a successful TV drama producer, who has been afraid of having in-laws, specifically a mother-in-law. Because of this, Yoon Hee has decided to look for a guy who isn't closely connected to his family, and if she couldn't find such a guy, she was planning on staying single.

After spending 17 years behind bars, Hyun-Woo (Ji Jin-Hee) is released from prison. During his college days, Hyun-Woo was involved in the student led anti-government protests that swept across Korea in the early 1980’s. Now that he is finally free, Hyun-Woo travels back to the town where he spent a few precious months immediately prior to his arrest. 17 years ago, Hyun-Woo fled into the rural areas of Korea, hiding from the government that was trying to quash his anti-government group. He found sanctuary in the home of Han Yoon-Hee (Yum Jung-Ah). She was a former sympathizer to the anti-government cause, but now living a modest life as a teacher in a small rural community. The couple quickly became intimate, Hyun-Woo able to provide the spark that was missing from Han Yoon-Hee’s simple life.

Unfortunately, while Hyun-Woo was still hiding in Han Yoon-Hee’s home, he learned that most of his fellow anti-government protesters were captured & imprisoned. Even though the government now has Hyun-Woo high on their most wanted list, he feels ashamed that he is living peacefully while his friends are imprisoned. Thus, he makes the difficult decision to leave Han Yoon-Hee and go back to the movement centered in Seoul. What he would later learn is that he left behind the sole person that would stay faithful to him throughout his 17 year imprisonment and also the woman that is carrying his baby.

Yu-Jung (Lee Na-Young) has now attempted her third suicide attempt. Her disdain for her mother and indifference to the rest of the world, isolates her from any chance for happiness. Yu-Jung also has an aunt named Sister Monica. Her aunt often goes to prison to meet with death row inmates. Sister Monica meets a new death row inmate, who asks Sister Monica if he could meet her niece Yu-Jung. Sister Monica asks Yu-Jung if she would counsel this death row inmate and Yu-Jung reluctantly agrees to do so.

Yu-Jung and the death row inmate do not open up to each other immediately. Yu-Jung comes from a family of wealth and is now a professor at a university. Yet, she has never known happiness since the age of 15. The inmate that she meets, named Yun-Soo (Gang Dong-Won), has had an even more traumatic childhood experience. He was abandoned by his parents at an early age and has had to live on the streets while caring for a younger brother. Eventually Yun-Soo ends up involved in the criminal world and gets convicted for murder. With their disparate backgrounds, Yu-Jung and Yun-Soo are still able to connect with each other, because both people know grief like few others could possibly know. As they both regain the will to live through their weekly meetings, they must now deal with their feelings for each other and come to grips with the short amount of time they have together.

As Bong Soon finds herself falling in love with Joon Won, a love triangle builds up when Bong Ki, the President's family's bodyguard, starts to fall for the hillbilly Bong Soon! The drama explores about how Bong Ki gets in touch with his own feelings and how Bong Song's generosity makes the men fall for her.

Go Bok Su has had a difficult childhood and served time in prison for stealing. Jeon Kyung, a moody tomboy and a daughter of a rich family, plays the keyboard as a member of an unknown indie rock band. The vocalist of Kyung's band is diagnosed with a brain injury from an accident, and while the band members are trying to earn money for the surgery, Bok Su steals Kyung's wallet. Bok Su decides that their meeting was fate, leaves his long-time girlfriend Mi Rae, and follows Kyung around trying to win her heart. One day Bok Su finds out he has a terminal illness and doesn’t have much time left, and his life begins to change.

Jin Young, a very open-minded and energetic woman, worked for the Seoul Hotel. Her ex-boyfriend Tae Joon resigned and had left for Vegas three years earlier due to an unfortunate incident w/ a guest. The owner of the hotel had always believed in Tae Joon even more so than his own son, Young Jae. When he died of a heart attack, his wife realized that Jin Young must go to Vegas to bring Tae Joon back so he could help run the hotel, which was falling into pieces. Their rival, Kim Book Man (Han Jin Hee), was determined to acquire the Seoul Hotel.

This story is about three people, Jae Ho, Shi Yung and Suk Ho. Jae Ho and his sister Jae Young are abandoned by their mother to escape poverty. Because of this, Jae Ho doesn't understand what love is. And so, he has a dream of becoming rich, thinking that there is no such thing as love, only money. He works hard his whole life while supporting himself and his sister through college. He works at a seafood wholesale market selling crabs to vendors. He lives with his aunt who has taken him and his sister in after their mother abandoned them.

With his big dreams and ambitions, he pretends to be rich while in school, in order to gain the attention of Hyun Su, who is from a very rich family. Thus, he tries to get her to like him so he can marry into her family and become rich. But during this process, he falls in love with his Psychology teacher, Shi Yung. He battles with his feelings and his ambitions, and ultimately picks love over money. Even though they go through hardship, he realizes that he couldn't survive without both, and so he gives up on Shi Yung for money and wishes her happiness.
