A story that follows Zhu Yuan Zhang's fourth son, Zhu Di, who fought many battles from a young age that aided him in his journey to become a qualified military commander and a skilled politician.

In his youth, Zhu Di followed general Xu Da into war and experienced bloodbaths on the battlefield. As he grew in experience to command troops of his own, he gets caught in the struggle for power within the royal courts that honed his skills in becoming a political strategist. With the support of his followers, Zhu Di settles in Beiping and vows to protect the Ming Dynasty from invaders.

With the death of Emperor Taizu of Ming, Zhu Yun Wen who succeeds in the throne falls for the instigations of his mother's tribe to turn his wrath towards the members of the Zhu imperial family, ultimately forcing Zhu Di's hand to rise up in rebellion.

Shui Wuxia, a maid at Langya Pavilion, gets engaged by Jiang Manor to assist Mister Zuo's studies and martial arts training. The proud and valiant Shui Wuxia clashes with the arrogant and playful Jiang Baiyu. A story set in the Tang Dynasty revolving around Luo Qiuchi, who aspires to be a great poet. He entered the Zhu Xiu Academy to further his studies, where he meets the number one student there, Fu Yuanzhi. The two have different poetry styles, but in the end Luo Qiuzi managed to defeat Fu Yuanzhi in a competition with the "Flying Flowers Order" poem. Thus, he was able to lead the other students with a more "simple" poetry style. Through a series of events events, Luo Qiuchi and the rest of the students were able to mature. They emerged victory in the acdemic exchange between the students of An Nan and Da Tang kingdoms. In the end, Luo Qiuchi emerged as the top scholar in the national entrance examinations, thus contributing to the country.

The sequel revolves around Yu Ying Qi, a man from a tribe of people skilled in medicine who are forced into hiding because of a conspiracy. Yu Ying Nan is his adopted sister who ends up going to Zu Mountain to learn the art of cultivation. Although the story follows its own course, expect some crossover from the original as the Chi Hun Stone makes an appearance once again.

Qi Bai Cao successfully conquered martial art competitions across Asia and gained a deeper understanding of her field. But with the tragic loss of her mentor, Ruo Bai, she didn't know how to persevere on. She then met Chang An, a mysteriously talented man who took over her training. Under his grueling coaching, Bai Cao regained her spirit and continued her path toward martial art glory.
