This drama follows the story of ground-breaking porn Director Toru Muranishi. From his unlikely start as an English encyclopedia salesman, he casts a charismatic vision that leads Japanese pornography from idealized, substanceless skin flicks to more realistic and story-based encounters. Along the way he inspires many around him as they navigate a female sexual revolution, monopolized distribution channels, censorship, international laws and the yakuza. ~~ Adapted from the non-fiction novel by Motohashi Nobuhiro.

The story centers on an extended family and the dramas caused by love. Cousins Ki-woong and Suk-hyun seek the affections of Hae-in. Ki-woong is Hae-in's college senior and close friend. Suk-hyun and Hae-in have known each other since childhood. The love triangle and rivalry deepen. Ki-woong's parents keep a sound and happy household despite certain setbacks. Ki-woong is arrogant but a softy deep down. Ki-woongg's uncle is an idealist who still clings to the notion of romance. Ki-woong's shrewd aunt values money above all else. Their son Suk-hyun well educated and having lived abroad for most of his life has difficulty relating with his parents. He considers Hae-in and Jongnam in search of a bride. Hae-in and Suk-hyun's parents are close friends. Hae-in is a bright career woman and works for the same company as Suk-hyun. Everyone believes she is quite a catch but she is independent in search for love. The unfortunate Jong-nam lives with Ki-woong's paternal aunt. Jong-nam had been in love with her son until he died in a tragic accident which bonded the two women. Jong-nam and Suk-hyun bump into each other one day and find they are mysteriously drawn to each other.

A 19-year-old girl burdened by a cruel destiny, a mother tormented by a tragic past, and a 41-year-old man living in atonement, and a relationship that brings strength in dark times. ‘Iki mo Dekinai Natsu’ is as much a social drama as it is a story about friendship, parents and children, and about what makes a family.

Takei plays said girl who learns that her mother never recorded her birth in their family register. While falling into despair after finding out the secret about her birth yet wholeheartedly trying to live to regain ‘herself’, she happens to run into a former journalist (Eguchi) who is suffering from a deep scar in his heart himself. Although they could be father and daughter, they start to form a bond that could be described as friendship... or, between the lines, something more? During this "breathless summer", they go through a number of things that will stay in their hearts forever.

Onizuka Ichiro has been confined to a wheelchair ever since he was stabbed by a criminal and lost the function of his two legs. After retirement, he was reappointed by Shinjuku Higashi Police Precinct’s Criminal Affairs Division to head its Judicial Section because of the numerous cases he had solved. One day, a dead man is found in Shinjuku Botanical Garden and identified to be Matsumoto Yugo. The name is familiar to Onizuka who does a search on his computer and realises that Matsumoto had filed a report on the theft of his bicycle a month earlier. Together with his subordinate Toyama Saki, and Jin Keitaro, who was sent from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s First Investigative Division to be a detective at the precinct, Onizuka begins to investigate the case. However, the new police chief Azuma Kanata is not pleased that their section is getting involved and has a confrontation with Keitaro over the investigation strategy.

Unknown to the people of Earth, there is a branch of humanity called the "Gosei Angels" whose mission is to protect the Earth. When the Earth is targeted by an evil alien invasion force called Warstar, they destroy the Heaven's Tower, the bridge between the Earth and the Gosei World, home of the Gosei Angels, to keep them from interfering. However, five apprentices Gosei Angels are on Earth at the time and, while finding a way to return back home, they become the Goseigers to stop Warstar. But soon after, the monstrous Yuumajuu emerge from their slumber, and the Goseigers receive aid from a special being called Gosei Knight who once fought against the Yuumajuu in the past. But even after they defeat the Yuumajuu, the evil robotic Matrintis Empire rises to take over the Earth with the data acquired from the last two groups. Once they are defeated, the Goseigers face their greatest enemy in the one who has been manipulating the other groups from the very beginning: a rogue Gosei Angel who took their mission to protect the Earth to a dangerous extreme by planning to destroy all life and recreate the world in his image.

The play tells a story about family, love, friends, and revenge. In the 20th century Shanghai, the two great masters of the north and south, Huo Yuanjia and Huang Feihong, heirs Zhai Feng and Yan Ying Yuan were due to the death of Huo Yuanjia. In order to find out the real culprit and regain their innocence, the two of them had to face their friends and their lovers becoming enemies. They endured the humiliation and fleeing while waiting for revenge. Their personalities also have undergone a great change. Whether they are lost in adversity or waiting to erupt in silence, this scene is intertwined to form a magnificent wave on the surging Shanghai.

Go Yoo Rang confident and optimistic about life in general. She falls in love for the very first time with Chi Young. But Chi Young suddenly leaves her to return to Seoul. Desperate to be with Chi Young, Yoo Rang flies to Seoul only to find out that he is already a married man.

The second season is set in even more turbulent times than the first; during the reign of Emperor Gojong, a period where every aspect of Joseon, from financial, military, and economic to the culture was spurred towards modernization. The chaos and confusion resulting from these rapid changes form the background for the crimes that occur, forcing the Byul Soon Geom to be reformed in order to investigate them. The team is led by Jin Moo Young and Han Da Kyung, two people with deep scars and burdens from their past.
