The Story of Han Dynasty is a re-enactment of one of the most fascinating periods in the grand river of Chinese history, when, during the latter days of the crumbling of the Qin Empire, the Han armies led by warlord Liu Bang contended for supremacy against the more powerful forces led by Xiang Yu the Conqueror of West Chu. Mainland actor Hu Jun (Red Cliff) stars as Xiang Yu while this historical figure's loyal concubine is played by the Hong Kong beauty Kristy Yang. Actors playing the leaders in the rivaling camp are no less captivating - the series features Xiao Rong Sheng and Jacklyn Wu Chien Lien as Liu Bang and his Queen. The story, developed with the cooperation of the International Mathematical Olympiad in Japan, is set at a specialized math school, where Michishige and Tanaka both take on the roles of “suugaku joshi” (“math girls”). Naturally, the show will incorporate various mathematical functions and formulas into the story and dialogue.

Kazuki Sato (Dori Sakurada), a hater of math, is transferred to a new school. On the first day of his new school, he walks to school and spots a pretty girl named Nina Machida (Reina Tanaka). At school, his homeroom teacher takes him to a classroom. On the chalkboard is mathematical formulas. He is surprised. His homeroom teacher tells him that his new school specializes in mathematics. Mike hides the truth from his girlfriend Ple so she doesn't be sad, but she assumes that he is cheating on her cause he is becoming secretive and suddenly disappears a lot which causes problems in their relationship.
