A transcendentally weird sex comedy that hits the ground running, Zero Man zeroes in on its protagonist, goofball Sakuragi (Chihiro Itakura), who emerges from the blur of a power nap of an undetermined duration in an unknown location. Without a clue as to who he is, what he’s doing there in full police uniform, and what he’s up to in life in general, he finds himself inexplicably endowed with quite possibly the wackiest superpower ever: he has the bizarre ability, whenever he gets erect, to see numbers on the foreheads of everyone around him, including his own, which registers a rather dismal zero. This soon raises three crucial questions: who on earth is he? What should he do with this power that requires crotch friction to actually function? And what should he make of said numbers?

Zhang Chi, a hubris and dominating six-time racing champion, falls from grace following a crisis. After a five-year suspension from the motorsport, the now single-father to a six-year-old boy throws down the gauntlet once again to a younger generation of racing geniuses and vows to regain his past glory. With few years left in a professional career at almost forty, the father-and-son duo braves a brand-new world of auto-racing which puts them into some rather ironic situations. To guard the honor and a father's promise to his son, Zhang Chi regroups with his former teammates on the journey back to the race course. Together they roll with the punches and launches a serious attack for the championship.

The true incidents that led to the vendetta of the 47 masterless samurai are briefly given here. A provincial lord (daimyô) named Asano Naganori was entrusted with the reception of an imperial envoy. He sought guidance in this matter from a more senior lord named Kira Yoshinaka, but he failed to provide the 'gifts' that were expected in such a situation. Kira was therefore displeased with Asano and taunted him, making him draw his sword inside the shogun's palace. The shogun was so outeaged by this act that he ordered Asano to commit seppuku and confiscated all his lands. His household was disbanded and his retainers were made rônin (masterless samurai). 47 of these men, however, includin their former chief Ôishi Kuranosuke, plotted to avenge their lord's death by killing Kira. In the twelfth month of 1703 the 47 retainers successfully attacked Kira's mansion in Edo and took his head. Taking it to Sengaku-ji, the Buddhist temple where lord Asano was buried, they presented it before their lord's grave and then took their own lives by seppuku.

Toru Nishikawa is a university student who finds a gun on the riverside and decides to take it home. He is excited by the prospect of having the gun. Toru Nishikawa is attracted to Yuko Yoshikawa who attends the same the university. A detective suddenly visits Toru Nishikawa and so he is driven into a corner. He makes his decision...

A story about the emotional entanglements between Huang Yao Shi of Peach Blossom Island and his disciple Mei Chao Feng.

A young girl from the street was adopted by Huang Yao Shi as an apprentice and given the name Mei Chao Feng. She grows up studying martial arts with her senior brothers. Upon discovering that Mei Chao Feng’s feelings for him exceed that of master and disciple, Huang Yao Shi makes an excuse to leave the island. He returned two years later with his wife Feng Heng and half of the "Nine Yin Manual."
