A talent-show contestant Kitty gets hair extensions and is haunted by the spirit of her new hair’s former owner – a dancer-model who seeks Kitty’s help in patching things up with her old boyfriend.

It’s a tragic case of history repeating as two cases twenty years apart find their connections in people who were abandoned by their parents. The story begins in recent times with Sergeant Fai, a grizzled cop who is on the verge of retirement. When he books a young woman named Daisy for drug possession, the memory of an earlier case that derailed his career emerges. We are taken to 1997 and meet 15 year-old Elisa, an innocent and naïve girl who has fallen in love with Wai, a decent guy with a motorbike and few prospects. Elisa soon gives birth to a baby girl after the two move in together but life isn’t easy. Desperate to earn money, Wai becomes a member of the triads and commits a crime so serious he must flee Hong Kong and leave Elisa and their daughter behind to face the cruelty of society alone. When Wai returns he finds he cannot be a permanent part of their lives and their once happy family is poisoned by resentment which leads to a tragic outcome...

I understand that it may not be representative of the Korean woman ! They are always with a glass of wine or alcohol in the hand, that may be not representative too. But in the end I liked his sense of humor. There are little jokes every where. The characters became touching as they are sincere and true. There is a little criticize of the Korean culture, a touch of gravity. I didn't like the way he moves the camera : too unstable. But some photo are beautiful and the country surrounding Seoul is beautiful too

Nhum is a construction foreman working in Bangkok. The political instability in Thailand has made its presence felt in all business sectors. Nhum suddenly finds himself out of jobs. He decides to head back to the northeast to attend a wedding during the Thai New Year in April -- the hottest month of the year. At the wedding in Khon Kaen, Nhum runs into Joy, a senior from his high school whom he used to have a crush on. They exchange their phone numbers. Suddenly, we see an interview with the director's family members, and we learn that the film itself is a semi-autobiography of the director's life. The character of Nhum is as much a construct as it is real. From this point on, the film becomes the voyage of a young man into the labyrinths of the real and the imagined, the documentary and the fiction, the past and the present – and not only of his self but also of the Thai society writ large. But although Yoon Do Gun’s hard work has won Laura Dining to the top of the South Korean restaurant scene, the eponymous restaurant owner and Yoon Do Gun are beginning to pull in very different directions. While she wants to ensure that the menu is always packed with crowd-pleasing dishes, Yoon Do Gun wants to challenge diners with creative and newer preparations.

The falling-out intensifies when the owner hires Choi Jung Woo to work in the same kitchen. The latter is a talented chef in his own right, but his real skills are in copying other people’s hit recipes, rather than developing his own. Although the two chefs begin on the wrong foot, adopting an adversarial stance to one another, after getting to know one another, the beginnings of an unlikely love story start to form.
