High school classmates Zhang Yang and Zhou Jing Mang are true polar opposites. While Zhang Yang is brash, a practical joker, often selfish, and sometimes even confrontational, Zhou Jing Mang is naive and overly trusting.

As they slowly get to know one another at school, Zhang Yang first begins to play tricks on Zhou Jing Mang in his usual manner, fooling her into making an embarrassing announcement over the school tannoy system. But little by little, they start to develop an attachment to one another – and start to develop a mutual sense of respect. But could this one day lead to love?

Zeng Ai Xing, a smart, street-wise, clever and passionate girl, meets Meng Jing Jing, a beautiful, rich, mean and stubborn girl. Zeng Ai Xing on the other hand, has a man from her real estate job, more specifically - her boss; Ren Wei! But tragedy strikes when Du Tian Ze and Meng Jing Jing get into an accident and get separated from each other... Broken heart-ed Tian Ze lives with Ai Xing from then on, but when Jing Jing comes back, she has lost all her memory with Tian Ze, but they fall back into love and remember each other again. But when Meng Jing Jing family hits bankrupt, and gets into debt, she finds her self into the scemes of Ren Wei, as Jing Jing has to find love with Ren Wei, Ai Xing is left with the comfort of Tian Ze, which becomes a disaster...

On 9 August (Showa 20) 1945, one streetcar starts to run on the streets of Hiroshima which has been devastated. The surviving employees of the electric tram company had begun recovery work since the day after the atomic bomb was dropped. The bent tracks were hammered down and the overhead wires were set up again. A mere three days after the bombing, they manage to resume service on a section of the route. The drivers are young girls in their mid-teens who work while studying at the company’s girls school for home economics. Working in place of the males who have gone off to war, they are crew of the streetcar and even in charge of driving. 16-year-old Amada Toyoko (Kuroshima Yuina) is one of them. Born in a farming village in the outskirts of Hiroshima, Toyoko had heard that she could study while working, and came to Hiroshima. She was driving during the morning shift on the day that the atomic bomb was dropped, but miraculously survived although she was thrown out of the streetcar. Now she stands at the driver’s seat with her head wrapped in a bandage. The car is filled with people who are going in search of family members. Everyone clings to hope and stares ahead. Then the end of the war greets them. The streetcar continues to run on the streets of Hiroshima which has lost everything.

“Once the streetcar runs, Hiroshima will come to life again!” Matsuura Akitaka (Abe Hiroshi), the head of the electric tram company’s electrical section and a widower with three children, is tasked with restoring the main routes within one month. The streetcar which travels the forlorn streets becomes the hope of Hiroshima before anyone realises it.

The eldest princess Bao Zhu escaped from the imperial palace, and the emperor ordered Shen Yi of the Yinyao Sect to search for it with all his might. Surprisingly, after the princess left the palace, she formed a bond with a commoner named Jin Jiu.

While Shen Yi wanted to bring her back, the princess used her life as leverage, swearing to stay by Jin Jiu’s side. Shen Yi had no choice but to take Jin Jiu under the wing of the Yinyao Sect, making him a palace eunuch to accompany the princess at all times.

Under the protection of the eldest princess, Jin Jiu entered the palace in the guise of a fake eunuch but a real man.

Jin Jiu had long planned to reunite with the princess, all for the sake of an old matter from many years ago…
