35-year-old Hanada Yoneko is a detective of Ryogoku Police Precinct who is looking for a marriage partner. She swings between love and justice as she pursues cases with her partner, Fujioka Tsutsuji. Yoneko will not turn a blind eye to crime. In addition, she wants to be happy. But for some reason, all the handsome men she likes turn out to be criminals.

Naomi, a middle-aged woman, goes to a house to meet her boyfriend with whom she had planned to skip the country, along with 50 billion yen in cash. When she gets to the house, there is no boyfriend, no money and a trail of blood leading to a closet. Opening the closet causes this nude, blood covered body to come falling out. She gets the young man into a hospital to revive him in hopes he can tell her where the boyfriend and the money went, but the guy from the closet has lost his memory. She gives him a new identity, calling him Yukio, and then employs him as a courier at her company to keep track of him in case he ever recovers his memory. As he works for Naomi, Yukio slowly discovers who he was and what has led him to the man he is now.

The story will focus on the day before and the day of the entrance exam. The story is centered around the entrance exam of a well-known prestigious prefectural high school. A number of incidents occur that threaten the entrance exam, and it seems to be the work of someone lurking in the shadows. Who is the person behind all this and what is his or her motive!? The story is about the nuances of family dynamics in a modern day martial arts clan. Mei Chao Ying (Zhang Kai Li) is an orthodox kung fu master and Ren Xiao Xuan (Zhang Jia Ning) is her daughter-in-law. Ren Xiao Xuan is a dancer that dreams of taking the center stage in spite of being relegated to the sidelines though she relishes the opportunity to simply wake up every morning to dance. In spite of a lackluster career, Xiao Xuan is a blooming bride ready to start a new chapter in her life. Unfortunately, her husband goes missing during their honeymoon and her new mother-in-law considers her to be a prime suspect. Nevertheless, the mother-daughter pair soon realize that they have a greater enemy in the form of Huang Shu Lang, a relative who has returned from overseas to seize control of the family legacy.

Asahiyama Zoo in Hokkaido is the northernmost zoo in Japan. It was once in danger of being shut down but overcame this crisis. The leader of the zookeepers, Sakauchi Zen (Yamaguchi Tomomitsu), has become the zoo’s director. He works hard towards the construction of a new giraffe enclosure. On the other hand, the zookeepers Izumi Sawako (Toda Erika) and Nakagawa Shinichi (Koide Keisuke) privately have worries while being swamped with their job of raising animals. Sawako, who is in charge of the popular red pandas, sees signs of a pregnancy, but cannot feel genuinely happy. Having been present at the deaths of animals countless times in the past, she has developed a fear of witnessing the life and death of animals. Nakagawa, who has been appointed the leader of the breeding staff, even has strong ideas about the current state of the zoo. A part of him cannot agree with Sakauchi on the construction of the giraffe enclosure too. Veteran zookeeper, Makihara Yuichiro (Ito Shiro), who has known the zoo since the time it opened, cannot make up his mind about his own retirement. To compound matters, a flamingo escapes from the zoo. Sakauchi sets a trap which makes use of the flamingo’s behaviour, but the flamingo is killed by a wild fox. Nakagawa opposes Sakauchi’s decision which sacrificed an animal. Confidence in the zoo also plummets. Meanwhile, Okamura Tetsu (Joshima Shigeru), who has been an elementary school janitor for many years, comes as a zookeeper in a personnel reshuffle. Poor with both people and animals, Okamura is given the task to rear the zoo’s oldest animal, the hippopotamus, by Sakauchi. Okamura is uncomfortable with a job which does not have a manual. However, he takes Makihara’s advice and gradually becomes concerned about the hippopotamus more than anyone else. The new enclosure is completed. A young hippopotamus also arrives. These appear to be positive signs for the zoo. Then one day, a terrible sight unfolds before Okamura

The drama is about the life of the last Korean empress, Empress Myung Sung.

High-flier Mak Tai Song (Dayo Wong Tze Wah) has dissociated himself from the business world by showing deep regret to the suicide of his mentor. Later, he learns that his mentor's wife She Mo Lin (Theresa Lee) is in great debt and he starts selling "business tactics" to the trader Tong Kat (Benz Hui Shiu Hung) for Lin's debt recovery. Deadbeat Song refuses to take a full time job and that makes his income change from day to day. A tough collection agent, Lam Miu Miu (Charmaine Sheh), tries every means to push him into a corner. They keep playing tricks on each other and finally become a pair of rival lovers. By chance, Song meets his uterine brother On Cho Lin (Michael Tse Tin Wah). He thereby recalls the tragic memories of the past when his mother deserted him and his father. This triggers the hatred hidden deep inside his heart and leads him to seek revenge against On's family. Song's abrupt change has left Miu feeling confused.
