Aruo, the dragon girl from the East China Sea, is determined to find her beloved, and comes to the mortal Wang Sheng at all costs. However, the fox demon Xiaoman wants to get the most precious spiritual leaf from the dragon girl, and designs to break Wang Sheng's heart. Aruo has no choice but to use Lingye made up for Wang Sheng's heart, so the two women started a "heart-stealing" contest with Wang Sheng as the center.

Facing an unacceptable reality, a teacher is trying to reclaim relationships with his family, students and former friends. Reassessing his past, he contemplates how to go on with his life.

When the world is hit with a naturally occuring virus that spreads among all living things, humans begin to turn into insatiable zombies. In a blink, the world as we know it collapses. Sachiko Sasaki (Mitsuki Takahata) works as a literary magazine editor. She is well respected by her colleagues due to her perfectionist ways. On Sachiko Sasaki's wedding day, her boyfriend Shungo disappears. Sachiko Sasaki is dumbfounded by her boyfriend's disappearance. The next day, Sachiko Sasaki goes to work, but she can't stop thinking about Shungo. She realizes she is more traumatized than she thought. Sachiko Sasaki decides to go to a restaurant. When her meal comes out, Sachiko Sasaki forgets all about Shungo. Her experience makes her become a connoisseur of gourmet meals.

Shin Nam is a 20-something graduate of a shaman school, and so called fake shaman. While on the other hand, Chung Dam is the kind of a real deal shaman, who is possessed by a child god. Along comes also Song Joon, as the middle-aged swindling shaman, whose prime, along with the ghost inside him, have all but left.

Radio show hostess Vicky (Peggy Tseng), who likes going round the city photographing buildings, is looking for her boyfriend Dog (Lee Ta-chi), who disappeared on 1 Jan, leaving behind some photos. She meets one of them, Cola (Chiu Sheng-yi), who has fallen for punky drummer Cheesebaby, aka Money (Lin Chen-shi), and has an angry-at-the-world boyfriend, Assassin (Lin Po-sheng). She also discovers someone called Cat is looking for Dog. Vicky tracks down Playing (Nikki Hsieh), who plays dangerous games with men she sleeps with and has been connected with many who recently disappeared. Meanwhile, Cheesebaby takes Cola to meet her grandmother, who has an ancient computer that can still read a floppy disk that Dog left behind. On it are random philophical thoughts that Cola transcribes and gives to Vicky. Assassin, who's angry at the time Cheesebaby is spending with Cola, and is also falling apart metally and physically, then takes up with the dangerous Playing.

Tanaka Ainosuke was born with a weak left eye. Then one day, his older brother Yumehito dies mysteriously, allowing Ainosuke to receive a cornea transplant from him. After the surgery, whenever there is a shock to his left eye he sees strange images.
