Aruo, the dragon girl from the East China Sea, is determined to find her beloved, and comes to the mortal Wang Sheng at all costs. However, the fox demon Xiaoman wants to get the most precious spiritual leaf from the dragon girl, and designs to break Wang Sheng's heart. Aruo has no choice but to use Lingye made up for Wang Sheng's heart, so the two women started a "heart-stealing" contest with Wang Sheng as the center.

When the world is hit with a naturally occuring virus that spreads among all living things, humans begin to turn into insatiable zombies. In a blink, the world as we know it collapses. Da-Eun (Son Ye-Jin) has completed graduate school and is set to become a newspaper reporter. She lives with her father Son-Man (Kim Kap-Soo) who lovingly refers to her as "my heart". Although her father does menial work, Da-Eun is proud of him. One day, Da-Eun goes to the movie with her boyfriend Jae-Kyoung (Lee Gyu-Han) and friend Bo-Ra (Jo An). They watch a movie that is based on a real life unsolved crime. A man kidnaps a boy and demanded ransom from the parents. The child is later found dead and the killer is never heard from again. The only clue the police have to the killer's identity is the ransom phone call he made to the parents. At the end of the film, they play the actual recorded audio from that phone call. When Da-Eun hears the voice she becomes frozen. The man's voice sounds eerily like her father and he also uses the phrase "It Ain't Over 'til It's Over" which her father always favored. When Da-Eun gets back home, she looks up the crime that took place nearly 15 years ago on the internet. She finds a recording of the killer's voice and listens to it again. Da-Eun becomes awash with horror and also guilt for even suspecting her father as the killer. There's also only a few days remaining before the unsolved crime runs into its statute of limitations. What will Da-Eun do? Meanwhile, a man (Lim Hyung-Joon) from her father's past suddenly appears.

Soma Ito is a high school student in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture. She has a talent for playing Tsugaru-shamisen. The music is native to Aomori Prefecture and involves the traditional folk instrument Tsugaru-shamisen, which is a plucked three-string instrument. Ito learned to play Tsugaru-shamisen from her now-deceased mother. Due to her strong Tsugaru dialect and her shy personality, she has a hard time playing in public and also experiences difficulty in social settings. She doesn't have any friends. To change herself, Ito begins a part-time job at a maid cafe. Her father Koichi watches anxiously over her, while she works her new job. By meeting various people, Ito begins to grow as a person.

Seventeen year old high school girl Hitomi (posing as a 20 year old university student) becomes romantically involed with 42 year old executive Shinji Kajikawa. Hitomi discovers that Kajikawa was her mothers ex love interest and that he left her mother to advance his career. At first Hitomi tests Kajikawa's memory of her mother. Eventually she confronts him about her mother and at the same time aggressively seduces him. But is Hitomi seducing Kajikawa for heself or for mother?

Four guys, with nothing better to do, decide to rob a gas station. When they find out there isn't as much money as they expected, they lock up the employees and take over to make more money. They don't know how to run the gas pumps, and when the customers complain, the guys take them hostage. Everything is more or less under a chaotic kind of control until they order Chinese food and make the mistake of harassing the delivery boy. He rounds up a bunch of other delivery boys to attack the gas station. Another confrontation with a high school gang and the local mafia provokes a bigger fight. Finally, the police arrive for the final showdown.

The plot revolves around the last few moments of a man's life as he smokes his last cigarette before he is put to death. He retrospects his life decisions and introduces us to the circumstances that led him to this predicament
