After suffering from serial paranormal events, a wealthy family living in LA summons a young rising shaman duo Hwa Rim and Bong Gil to save the newborn of the family. Once they arrive, Hwa Rim senses a dark shadow of their ancestor has latched on the family in a so-called 'Grave Calling'.

In order to exhume the grave and relieve the ancestor, Hwa Rim seeks help from top-notch geomancer Sang Deok and mortician Yeong Geun. To their dismay, the four find the grave at a shady location in a remote village in Korea. Unaware of the consequences, the exhumation is carried out, unleashing a malevolent force buried underneath.

Hana is a high school student. Her parents suddenly died in an accident. Since then, Hana doesn't have any hope to live. One day, a man introduces himself to Hana as an agent from a special government agency. He asks Hana to talk about a dream she. She is confused by what he talked about. On that night, Hana has a strange dream.

The story revolves around a 17-year old high school student and basketball player named Migiwa (Mitsuki Tanimura) who has a secret crush on a boy named Riku (Dori Sakurada). One day Riku asks her if she surfs, and without thinking she lies and says she does. She quickly begins practicing on her own to cover for her lie, but when she gets swept up in a wave, the board drifts away from her and gets lost. Panicked, she hops on her bike and pedals around the coastal area of Shonan looking for anywhere it may have washed up. Like a typical road movie, she meets various people in her travels and experiences some personal growth.

Maezaki Family Court is located in a suburban city about an hour away from Tokyo by shinkansen. A newly appointed judge arrives at the court. This man is Kuwata Yoshio, the rumoured oddball who snubbed career advancement after turning down a transfer to Tokyo due to his attachment to the family court. On the day that Kuwata takes up his new post, he shows up carrying a huge plant on his back. Higuchi Hinako, a legal apprentice who wants to become a lawyer, and the probation officers are astounded. Kuwata says he happened to pass by a garden where trees were being felled and he decided to take this plant because he felt sorry for it. When Anzu Natsuno hears a hauntingly beautiful song come from the lips of a girl who just moments later commits suicide on her schools premises, she begins to look deeper into her school and the song. Meanwhile, Takashi, an editor at a B-grade subculture magazine, hears a rumor about a song that will cause its listeners to die. In half disbelief, he looks into the truth. But when Takashi runs across Anzu in his persuit, the two step closer towards the shocking truth.

Based on the life of movie director Keisuke Kinoshita. As a young man, Keisuke Kinoshita (Ryo Kase) carried his mother on a handcart across a mountain. He grew up as a hotblooded young man and was monitored by the military. He then joined Shochiku movie company, to eventually become a movie director. Notes 1. Movie is made to commemorate the 100th year anniversary of director Keisuke Kinoshita's birth (December 5, 1912 – December 30, 1998). 2. Filming begins November 9, 2012 and will take place in Shizuoka Prefecture, Nagano Prefecture, & Gunma Prefecture. Filming will finish late November, 2012 and production will finish February, 2013. 3. Filming finished November 29, 2012 in Hamamatsu,Shizuoka Prefecture. The last scene filmed involved Keisuke (Ryo Kase), his mother (Yuko Tanaka) and delivery man (Gaku Hamada).
