While patrolling the Honjo area, Heizo Hasegawa encounters his old dojo companion and close friend, Samanosuke Kishii, as well as Hikoju of Sagami, a ruffian from Honjo. Samanosuke informs Heizo that the daughter they once admired, Ofusa, has been divorced and is now married into the household of the villainous lord, Jubei Matsuoka. Princess Pearl of Flowerland is sent to Mainland at a young age to learn her ceremonials duties. "The One Hundred" tells the story of a young woman who has just returned from a foreign country. She has to stay at a hotel to quarantine, but then suddenly comes across a monster that can change its shape in a variety of ways, according to the individual that this monster possesses. The concept of the story was inspired by the story of Battambang which was told during the reign of King Rama V.

His latest victim is a woman executive whose daughter is in need of a heart transplant. Before Kurosaki strikes at Ishigaki, a mysterious woman named Sakura appears. Her father, it turns out, was also ruined by Katsuragi. In contrast to Kurosaki, though, she has chosen to rebuild her life by forgiving and forgetting, so much so that she is actually in love with Katsuragi. Regarding the love-hate relationship between them, Kurosaki is also forced to admit that his feelings towards Katsuragi are complicated. Katsuragi is the person he hates most, but also the closest person to him. Eventually he begins to wonder whether, in fact, Katsuragi is simply using him. As the action rises to its highest pitch, Katsuragi imposes a charge far higher than anything Kurosaki has ever paid. Will he be able to recover the money Ishigaki has stolen?
