Set in a coastal city in Brazil, Kai arrives from Taiwan for a holiday with a broken heart. She meets Fu Ang, who could become a friend, but then disappears.

While looking for him, Kai discovers the story of Xiao Xin and a group of Chinese workers living in a skyscraper. Kai finds her own experience strangely mirrors that of Xiao Xin’s story. Over the course of a hot, slow summer, delicate bonds grow between them.

A rich young man called "Gun", forms a gang with a group of friends called "SPERM". He later meets up with a guy named Song, and asks if he wanted to join the gang. Gun is a person who teaches everyone in his gang to love and protect each other, and he is also the strongest one in the gang. They are involved in many other fights between rival gangs. But his gang always get a serious problem and their friendship is tested.

Jun is a top agent of the National Intelligence Service who can strike down dozens of terrorists in one fell swoop. Disenchanted with his life, Jun disguises his death and succeeds in leaving the NIS to lead a normal life as a family man and fulfill his dream of becoming a webtoon artist. However, his unexciting webtoons are ignored by readers and even his wife. Depressed and angry at himself, Jun suddenly draws a webtoon of his past as a secret agent. To his shock, the webtoon gets accidentally revealed to the public, goes viral, and becomes a huge hit! Consequently, some members of the NIS and organized gangs, with grudges against Jun, come across the webtoon and start to hunt him down.

Lin Zihao and Fang Jie are two brothers who have gone through life and death with each other.

A new born girl is placed in a coin operated locker in the subway station. The girl is raised by a mother (Kim Hye-Soo) who is the boss for a loan shark group. Later, when the girl has grown into a teen, she carries out missions given to her by her mother.

Ex-detective pimp Jeong Ho is angry because his girls keep disappearing without clearing their debts. One night, he gets a call from a customer and sends Mi Jin. But when Mi Jin meets the customer, Jeong Ho realizes the phone number of the customer matches that of the calls the missing girls got last. As something smells fishy, he searches for her. During his search, Jeong Ho dents a car in the alley. When Jeong Ho spots blood splattered on the driver’s shirt, he senses the man, Young Min, is the suspect. After an intense chase, Jeong Ho finally catches Young Min. But because of Jeong Ho’s pretense as a cop, they are both taken to the police station. At the station, he bluntly tells the policemen that he has killed the missing women, and the last girl, Mi Jin, may still be alive. As the police force is obsessed with a random search for corpses, Jeong Ho is the only one who believes Mi Jin is still alive. With only 12 hours left to detain the serial killer without a warrant, Jeong Ho’s hunt begins.

In 2012, Song (Sukrit Wisetkaew) a former wrestling athletes who became to teacher at the rural school. This school has only four students and one teacher. Diary of Ann (Chermarn Boonyasak) a former teacher, It was only thing that makes he relieve the loneliness. Many stories of Ann at this school was written in her diary. He was impressed and felt like with Ann until become binding through letters. He wanted to meet Ann but he doesn't know what to start? In 2013, Ann returned as a teacher at this rural school. She found her diary with his stories written drained out in the book. She doesn't know why he leaves this school and where he is now? But it makes sense to be back at school never be the same. This school is filled with remembrance.

This digital featurette, not quite a companion piece to Tropical Malady but certainly related to it, shows Joe operating at the height of his formalist powers. One of the things I’ve valued about Weerasethakul’s work since Mysterious Object at Noon is his commitment to exploring the traditions of avant-garde cinema while taking those idioms into uncharted territory. While some works by Joe have displayed an interest in bending the strategies of Andy Warhol and Bruce Baillie to the needs of Thai folklore and narrative gamesmanship, Worldly Desires takes a more structural approach. However this piece bears little resemblance to structural film as we usually think of it; if there are specific touchstones for Worldly Desires in film history, they would be those “other” structuralists, so wonky and off the beaten track as to thwart easy categorization. Like Morgan Fisher’s early film projects, Worldly Desires is a documentation of the filmmaking process. Within a single expansive jungle location, portions of a Thai soap opera are being filmed by day, and a music video is being made by night.We watch at a significant remove, behind the camera and lighting crews. Multiple views display random bits of business on the periphery, like the craft services table or a playback monitor. However, the stringent day / night rhythmic structure breaks down in the end, the night song (about a woman wondering if she’ll be as lucky in love as her mom was — an Electra Complex with a disco beat) eventually bleeding into the daytime shoot. But more significantly, the relatively austere TV production, whose melodramatic dialogue is mostly heard in disconnected snippets, is contrapuntally offset by the swelling musical numbers. They break up the video, with the unexpected jolt of pure pleasure. Although these sequences recall the musical interludes in certain of Tsai Ming-liang’s films, they’re shot in the mode of early Hou Hsiao-hsien, dancing girls reduced to tiny figures in a wide expanse, itself engulfed within an intractable master-shot. The rigor / comedy handoff recalls aspects of Owen Land’s work, but perhaps more importantly, Joe’s visual and conceptual approach displays a sensitivity to the unique qualities of the jungle landscape, a willingness to let the “location” become the subject of the piece. Worldly Desires is a landscape film, one that brings that most mythologically burdened aspect of Tropical Malady — its deep, dark thicket of the soul — and allows it to grow wild and overtake the image.

Jin wakes up from a nightmare of a traffic accident on. It drives him to the very spot and witnesses an accident, which replicates his dream. He follows the police to the suspect’s home and watches as Ran denies the hit-and-run accusation since she was asleep the entire night. Jin explains his dream to them and asks to be charged instead. He is convinced that there’s an unexplainable connection between the two. They discover that when he dreams, she acts out his dream in her sleep.
